Not that impressive..

What psychopathic mass genocidal and their promoted dictators and genocidals with aided, armed and trained forces can come up with to orchestrate and stage as much mass genocides as possible simultaneously over whole continents on shortest time.

Libya: A orchestrated genocide with genocidal tactics like every other ¤%¤¤ genocides put in system and going on for decades!

The killing of already disarmed prisoners, as well as those unable to fight, is a blatant contravention against all criteria of international law

Andrea Wolf and her comrades demand justice

18 September 2011, VAN, -- An international delegation has tried to visit a mass grave near Çatak in the Van region. The delegation had difficulties as permission to visit the site was not granted.

The delegation wants clarification of the massacre perpetrated by the Turkish army on 23rd October 1998 and calls for the offenders to be brought to justice.

The international delegation from Germany, El Salvador and Switzerland has arrived in Turkey last Wednesday. Along with representatives of the Turkish Human Rights Association (IHD) and the research group Keleh, they intended to visit mass graves in the mountains near Çatak in the Van region, which were discovered and secured by IHD personnel in the spring of 2011.

Following a commemorative memorial service at the location for those murdered and buried there by the Turkish army in a massacre on 23rd October 1998, the relatives – accompanied by the delegation – will present criminal charges at the public prosecutor's office in Çatak against those of the Turkish military responsible, and apply for official, forensic investigations of the mass graves.

According to information gathered to date, in 1998 the German internationalist Andrea Wolf in the Kurdish women’s army (YAJK), together with her Kurdish comrades, were taken prisoner by the Turkish army following a skirmish in this area. According to witnesses’ statements, as an unarmed prisoner, she was tortured and extralegally executed along with at least two other combatants – the victims’ corpses were subsequently further abused and mutilated.

A total of 41 combatants were apparently murdered in the skirmish and the following massacre.
The execution by shooting of the defenceless prisoners confirms the elements of the offence as murder according to international law.

The killing of already disarmed prisoners – as well as those unable to fight – is a blatant contravention against all criteria of international law and, according to the Geneva Convention, a war crime – and this is equally true for the torture of prisoners.

This applies equally to the systematically applied methods of sexual torture used by the Turkish army, which officers in particular learn in the training camps of western secret services as a means of subjugation, humiliation, power-demonstration, destruction and debasement of women, but also of men, which does not yield to the containment of state-legitimised oppression.

War crimes also include the utilization of poison gas by the Turkish military against combatants of the Kurdish guerrilla and against the civilian population, which took place, and still occur today, according to independent research.

Since July 2011, together with the mother of – and the circle of friends of – Andrea Wolf, members of the families of those killed as well as the International Independent Committee of Inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of Andrea Wolf and further combatants (IUK) therefore demand the tracing and prosecution of the perpetrators.

In this connection, in a case at the European Court of Human Rights, the Turkish government has already been convicted in June 2010, because until now a constitutional clarification of the massacre was systematically prevented:

“The sentence is a resounding slap in the face for the Turkish state. Now, finally, those of the military responsible for torturing and intentionally killing Andrea Wolf must be traced and brought to justice. We therefore demand of the office of public prosecution in Frankfurt, to once again commence investigations into the Andrea Wolf case, to question surviving witnesses of this war crime, and together with the IUK – to prepare the opening of the grave of Andrea Wolf as well as a post-mortem examination by means of international forensic scientists. In addition, we shall submit further proof”, explained lawyer Angelika Lex – who represents the mother of Andrea Wolf and the IUK – on 8th September 2010 on the occasion of a press conference for the judgment.

However, up until now, the responsible public prosecutor in Frankfurter refuses to recommence proceedings in the Andrea Wolf case despite the availability of new witnesses and evidence. Other German authorities, including for instance the foreign office have, to date, drawn no consequences whatsoever from the judgment against the Turkish state – for 13 years, they have been idle – or at least they have refused every initiative regarding clarification of the massacre.

The human rights organization IHD assists in cases of processing and prosecution of breaches of human rights, provides help in the search for the dead and disappeared relatives, compiles statements of witnesses and endeavours to protect them:

A difficult task in a dirty war, such as is orchestrated in Kurdistan under the gaze of the global public with the approval and military support – particularly that of the German government – as well as of German security services, secret services and armaments industries. With as much as 14 percent, Turkey is the largest customer of military equipment from the German economy. Today, Germany is the world’s third- largest armaments exporter after the USA and Russia.

On 1st May 1997 Andrea Wolf wrote from the mountains of Kurdistan that this was the reason why she would wish for a strong movement in the cities, which could cut back these continuous military supplies as well as the deliveries of military equipment to the Turkish military.

The international delegation explicitly regards its visit as an act of international solidarity and as local support for human rights work with the aim of a comprehensive processing of war crimes in the Turkish-Kurdish conflict as a basis for future peace in the region.

This international delegation, in which members of the Bundestag, lawyers, doctors and representatives from various women’s and human rights organisations, trade unions and from Andrea Wolf’s circle of friends are taking part, has held a press conference after its arrival in Istanbul on 14/9/2011 and re-introduce the delegation’s itinerary to the Turkish, Kurdish and international public.

Some of the delegation’s participants will be returning home on 18/9/2011 and some will take part in the 2nd Mesopotamian Social forum in Diyarbakir, where together with members of the families and human rights activists – a major political event will take place concerning state-legitimised sexual violence and torture against women and men through Turkish militarism as a systematic war crime.

In addition, it is as an internationalist expression of the struggles to remember the lessons of the past and to defy impunity, whether in South Africa, Latin America or in Turkey. The perpetrators must be brought to justice!

The experiences and the struggle in other countries against breaches of human rights such as those in Argentina, Chile, Guatemala, Uruguay and Paraguay have demonstrated through changes in society that those responsible for war crimes and torture can indeed finally be brought to justice after years of strenuous and political work by relatives and all other parties concerned – to be sure, quite often, as has successfully occurred in Argentina in the last few weeks, only after many decades.

The international delegation to Kurdistan is to be a contribution to the clarification of war crimes in Turkey it intends to exert political pressure in order to clarify these war crimes and to enforce the materialization of criminal proceedings and the sentencing of those responsible.

Noam Chomsky Announces Solidarity With #occupywallstreet

Sept. 26, 2011, Anyone with eyes open knows that the gangsterism of Wall Street -- financial institutions generally -- has caused severe damage to the people of the United States and the world.

And should also know that it has been doing so increasingly for over 30 years, as their power in the economy has radically increased, and with it their political power. That has set in motion a vicious cycle that has concentrated immense wealth, and with it political power, in a tiny sector of the population, a fraction of 1%, while the rest increasingly become what is sometimes called "a precariat" -- seeking to survive in a precarious existence.

They also carry out these ugly activities with almost complete impunity -- not only too big to fail, but also "too big to jail."

The courageous and honorable protests underway in Wall Street should serve to bring this calamity to public attention, and to lead to dedicated efforts to overcome it and set the society on a more healthy course.

Turkey has been engaged in a war of genocide against the Kurds, gross violations of human rights, invasion and occupation of northern Iraq and northern Cyprus. Much of the military hardware to enable Turkey to carry out its repressive policies has been Nato supplied, the users Nato trained.

Major reports into the arming of Turkey have been published. The first by Human Rights Watch (November 1995), the second by Campaign Against Arms Trade (January 1998). Both reports highlight the fact that most of the hardware that forms the backbone of Turkey's repressive policies is NATO supplied.

NATO members have both sold and donated a wide range of weapons to Turkey, including more than 500 combat aircraft, 500 combat helicopters, 5,000 tanks, and thousands of artillery pieces, mortars, machine guns and assault rifles. The United States has been Turkey's main supplier, providing about 80% of Turkey's arsenal. Over the past decade (up to 1995), the US Congress has appropriated $5.3 billion in military aid (grants and loans to purchase weapons) for Turkey, making Turkey the third largest recipient of US military aid (after Israel and Egypt).

Members of an ill-fated Peace Convoy to Turkish occupied Kurdistan (August/September 1997) witnessed at first hand Nato supplied equipment in action. The Peace Convoy attempted to travel from Istanbul to Diyarbakir, but were stopped from reaching their final destination by a military blockade. The original intention had been to travel by train from London but these plans had to be abandoned at the last minute due to Germany giving way to Turkish pressure and refusing to allow the train to pass through German territory.

After US and UK, Germany is the largest weapons supplier to Turkey.

During an EU Summit in Cardiff (south Wales) to conclude Britain's Presidency of the EU, peace activists were demonstrating in Nottingham against the supply of machine guns by Heckler and Koch to Turkey (June 1998). Britain has an 'ethical foreign policy'. By the end of June 1998, one year into the policy, more than a thousand breaches of the policy had been identified. Major recipients of arms that breached the code included Turkey. The breaches (to Turkey) included: machine guns; small arms, machine guns and accessories; toxological agents, riot control agents, and related equipment including tear gas.

Turkey's human rights record and its aggression to its neighbours is such that any supply of arms to Turkey would be a clear breach, but the UK government has refused to implement a blanket ban on arms sales to Turkey. Not long after the announcement of the 'ethical foreign policy' Turkish generals were honoured guests of the UK government at an Arms Fair in Farnborough, Hampshire. Vickers is currently bidding to supply Turkey with 800 main battlefield tanks.

In a State Department report (June 1995) the US officially admitted for the first time that Turkey had been involved in gross violations of human rights including torture, extrajudicial executions and forced village evacuations. The report admitted that US supplied arms were being used in Turkish occupied Kurdistan where most of the abuses were taking place. Following the publication of the report, General John Shalikashvili, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, wrote a letter to the US Congress urging the legislature not to cut military assistance to Turkey because of its human rights record.

The report not withstanding the US is still supplying weapons to Turkey, including M-60 tanks, helicopter gunships, cluster bombs, ground-to-ground missiles and small arms. The US was also involved in co-production agreements with the Turkish defence industry, most notably helping to build the F-16 fighter-bomber, which has been involved in ground attacks on Kurdish villages in both Turkey and Iraq.

Ironically the reason given for failing to carry out detailed investigations in Turkish occupied Kurdistan is that the level of activity poses too great a danger.

The spearhead of the anti-PKK operations and the worst abusers are the regular forces belonging to the Gendarmerie, and special counterinsurgency units belonging to both the Gendarmerie and the police.

These special forces are recruited from far-right Turkish nationalist groups notorious for their hatred of Kurdish culture and self-determination. These special forces use US-designed arms and British-supplied armoured vehicles.

The regular Turkish Army and Air Force, an integral part of NATO, are also implicated in the abuses.Out of 45 Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopters purchased in 1992, 35 went to the Gendarmerie, the remainder to the army.

The US exports stun devices. One of the recipient countries is Turkey where they are used to torture detainees. Mediha Curabaz, a 25-year old nurse, following a vicious beating had electric shocks applied to her nipples and was then repeatedly raped with a stun device.

During the Gulf War two British airmen were paraded on Iraqi TV badly beaten and forced to 'confess' their actions. During the 1996 rout of the Kurds by Saddam Hussein one of these airmen spoke out publicly against the West's policy of protecting the Kurds. This was not because the airman had no sympathy towards the Kurds, far from it, his attack was on the hypocrisy of the West.

One day British aircrews would be risking their lives to protect the Kurds from Iraqi incursions, the next day they would be asked to stand down to allow Turkey to carry out bombing raids against Kurdish villages. Raids using a military machine financed and built by the West. The airman spoke of the low moral of the British and American aircrew who were risking their lives to protect the Kurds from Iraqi incursions.

One day American aircrew would fly American F-16s to "protect the Kurds", the next day Turkish made-under-licence F-16s would be used to bomb Kurdish villages.

Research by Human Rights Watch has concluded that NATO supplied equipment has been used for forced evacuation of rural populations and destruction of their villages, indiscriminate fire, torture, and summary executions.

In response to questions asked in the British Parliament the government admitted that Turkish armed forces were regularly trained in the UK by the British MoD. The government also admitted that Turkish police officers had received training in the UK. [Hansard 14.4.88, 31.1.91, 1.7.97]

As a Nato partner, Turkey is supplied with reconaisance data by the US/UK. That data is used by Turkey to target Kurdish villages, pin-point concentrations of PKK guerrillas.

Although the abuses are well documented the West continues to supply Turkey and turn a convenient blind eye. During the Cold War Turkey was seen as a staunch ally, though in reality a buffer zone, a place to do battle against the Warsaw Pact, and a convenient aircraft carrier and staging post for Russia and the Middle East. Post-Cold War new reasons have been found to prop up Turkey, a stable ally in an unstable Middle East, a tough opponent of terrorism and Islamic Fundamentalism. The policies are flawed. By supporting Turkey in its dirty wars the West is creating the very scenarios it wishes to avoid.

Turkey through its aggressive intentions is destabilising not only the Middle East but also the Caucasus and the Balkans. Countries bordering Turkey are engaged in an Arms Race with Turkey, fearful of Turkey's intentions. Iraq is back to pre-Gulf War arms levels, Iran to pre-Iran-Iraq War. Threats against Greece (a democratic member of Nato) are straining Nato to breaking point.

The war of genocide against the Kurds has created an embittered underclass - 4,00 destroyed villages, 3 million displaced people - a vast recruiting ground for the PKK. The crackdown on Islam has created a growing army of Muslim Fundamentalists, fired with a hatred of the West and anything and everything Western. Turkey is unstable and on the point of collapse. Its vast arsenal could just as easily be turned on the West as on any of its near neighbours in the Middle East.

Turkey was the world's second largest spender on arms procurement during the period 1992-1996. The annual budget was around $2.5 billion in the 1980s, then rose sharply in the 1990s to $5.3 billion in 1990, $5.7 billion in 1992, and $6.3 billion in 1996. In April 1997, Turkey announced a $31 billion modernisation programme.

An estimated 20% of GNP is absorbed by the military, security forces and the cost of fighting the dirty war against the Kurds, three-digit inflation, the vast majority of Turkey's citizens live in abject poverty. Iran spent $19 billion on weapons in 1991 ($2 billion in cash sales), $14.5 billion in 1992, an estimated budget of $50 billion for the period 1992-1997.

As a consequence of Turkish aggression, the small island of Cyprus is the most heavily militarised piece of real estate on the planet, and the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Gulf War provided a live show-case for the US/UK defence industry. Weapon sales rocketed post-Gulf War. The US/UK were able to field test new weapons and try out new strategies. Since the Gulf War the UK has risen to become the world's No 2 arms exporter (after the US), capturing almost 25% of the world market. At 39.5% of total arms deliveries, the Middle East receives the largest share of international deliveries (1996 figures).

Like General Noriega before him, Hussein had grown too big for his boots and forgotten the correct (subservient) position of a client state. He also made the mistake of trying to steal a toy that belonged to the big boys. It was only once the decision had been made to cut him down to size that his atrocities were widely reported. Right up to the start of the Gulf War, US/UK had been providing arms and financial credit. The UK had advanced £1 billion in export credit to Iraq, Henry Gonzalez, chairman of the House Banking Committee, described the US credits as not insignificant.

The Atlanta branch of BNL (Banca Nazionale de Lavoro) extended $5 billion in loans to Iraq, the US government promised credit of $1 billion. At the time of the US invasion of Panama, Operation Just Cause (a mere coincidence that it occurred days before control of the Panama Canal was to pass into Panamanian hands), the US was Iraq's largest trading partner. Iraq invaded Kuwait several months later.

As an aside on the US invasion of Panama. It involved 26,000 US troops (the largest US military operation since Vietnam), and left at least 2,000 Panamanian dead. It served as a test bed for new US weapons and strategies (the first time the Stealth Bomber was used). If the intention had been to take out Noriega (the declared intention), this could have been achieved with about 100 special forces personnel. The Coalition response to the invasion of Kuwait (actually the US/UK response) was a 'principled stance against aggression' and 'the upholding of international law', oil barely got a mention. The Turkish invasion of Cyprus, the Indonesian invasion of East Timor, not to mention the irony of the US invasion of Panama, were conveniently overlooked.

One of the factors that drove Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait was that Iraqi coffers were being bled dry to pay for Western weapons and he was hoping to make his investment pay and Kuwait offered tantalisingly rich dividends.

In the words of Boyden Gray (Presidential Counsel to George Bush)'If there was anything we did wrong, it was that we squeezed Saddam too much ... God, this guy had real money problems. No wonder he went marching into Kuwait.'

At the time Iraq was gassing the Kurds in Halabja, David Mellor (UK Foreign Office Minister) was an honoured guest of Saddam Hussein.

Within a month of the gas attack Iraq was offered £340 million of export credit. Later in the year sales to Iraq had risen from £2.9 million a year ago to £31.5 million. Iraq had grown to become Britain's third largest market for machine tools.

Right up until the invasion of Kuwait, Britain was supplying Iraq with precision machine-tools used for the manufacture of shells, mortars, artillery rockets, howitzer fuses, parts for Scud missiles, and components for a gas centrifuge used in the Iraq nuclear weapons programme. In the words of a top secret intelligence report the machine-tools shipped to the Nassr complex were sufficient 'to equip a factory producing 500,000 155 mm shells per annum'.

Britain also attempted to supply parts for the Iraqi supergun (to be shipped disassembled disguised as oil pipe line for assembly in Iraq). The same top secret report noted that the UK 'is helping, often unwillingly, but sometimes not, to set up a major indigenous arms industry', the total sales to Iraq represented 'a very significant enhancement to the ability of Iraq to manufacture its own arms'. On 1 August 1990, a further export licence was granted for Iraq, the following day Iraq invaded Kuwait. During the whole of this period, there was an arms embargo in place on Iraq.

At the start of the Gulf War, Iraqi Kurds were holding down a sizeable proportion of the Iraqi army. The Iraqi Kurds offered the Coalition a deal. They would link up with opposition forces within Iraq and open up a second front in northern Iraq, they would attempt to seize Baghdad, 100,000 Iraqi troops were prepared to defect. The US State Department refused to meet Iraqi Kurdish leaders. Their offer was contrary to US plans. The US did not wish to see a democratic solution or the possible break up of Iraq. The preferred option was a palace coup, with a military junta under US control.

Turkish cooperation, including the use of Turkish territory by Coalition forces, was conditional on there being no independent Kurdish state established on their common border in northern Iraq. The UK response was to round up and imprison Iraqi opposition leaders living in Britain.

Following the rout of Saddam Hussein from Kuwait, the rebellion of Marsh Arabs in the south of Iraq, and strong encouragement from John Major and George Bush, the Iraqi Kurds rebelled. The initial successes were however short lived and the Kurdish rebellion was brutally suppressed by Saddam Hussein. The expected military intervention by the US and UK did not materialise. George Bush caved in to pressure from Turkey, "who did not wish to see a Kurdish state on its doorstep" and Saudi Arabia (who did not wish to see Shiites establishing a foothold in Iraq).

As a sop to world opinion, the US and UK established a 'safe haven' in northern Iraq, a fraction of Kurdish territory. Post-Gulf War, the economic sanctions against Iraq remain in place to prevent Iraqi oil coming onto the world market. As a major producer (3-6 million barrels per annum), Iraqi oil would cause the bottom to drop out of an already depressed market and the Saudis would no longer be able to meet their commitments on arms purchases (they are already stretched meeting their payments).

Through intelligence reports and the fact that the West was supplying and installing Iraq's armaments industry (within the UK it was often difficult to distinguish the difference between the suppliers and the intelligence service) it was easy for the Coalition to target these sites and for the weapons inspectors to carry out follow up inspections. The bombing of Iraq, once these sites were eliminated targeted the civilian population and its supporting infrastructure, markets, houses, schools, water supplies, hospitals. A starved, psychologically damaged, physically disabled, battered population does not rebel.

During the Iraqi attacks on the Kurds in 1988 (bombings and gas attacks) the Iraqi Kurds had a foretaste of what to expect from Turkey. 60,000 Kurds fled across the border into Turkey.

Turkey established a model refugee camp to which the world's media were invited. What was to have future significance, Western aid agencies were not allowed to operate in the camps. Once the world's attention was focused elsewhere the Kurds were moved to alternative camps, concentration camps in all but name, and left to die. Out of sight, out of mind.

The US Government in the supply of military sales and security aid to Turkey is in breach of section 502B of the Foreign Assistance Act. The UK is in breach of its own self-declared 'ethical foreign policy'. All EU countries are in breach of the recently agreed EU Code of Conduct on Arms Exports (25 May 1998).

One of the oft repeated arguments to support arms exports per se is that it generates a substantial balance of payments surplus, is good for jobs, is good for profits. There is a growing body of evidence that suggests the opposite, that when soft loans, hidden subsidies are taken into account the position is reversed and that at best the effect upon balance of payments is negligible (within the UK the defence industry is subsidised by an estimated £1 billion a year). Were the sums invested in defence industry R&D and job subsidies invested in alternative growth industries (eg renewable energy, environmental projects) the payback would be considerably more in both profits and jobs.

One overlooked factor of the arms industry is the violent distortions it causes to the economy of the supplier country. The arms industry grabs a disproportionate share of R&D and the arms industry has a guaranteed protected market.

All financed at the taxpayer's expense, or to be more accurate financed out of health, education and welfare budgets, that is wealth transfer from the poor to the military-industrial complex - military Keynesian socialism for the elites and capitalism for the poor. No other industry, with the exception of agribusiness enjoys such great advantages.

Economic arguments are not restricted to the producer countries. Arms sales are bleeding the Third World dry. One BAe Hawk ground attack aircraft (a favourite tool of the Indonesian regime in suppressing East Timorese peasants) could, if the money was redeployed, supply 1.5 million people with clean water for life.

An insidious side effect of the large-scale shipment of arms, many would consider it to be the principle aim, is the sustaining of a large military presence (plus associated foreign advisers), which either has an undue influence upon the running of the country or takes over the running of the country. This has been standard textbook strategy in all US client states (and is amply illustrated in Turkey, Indonesia and Central American terror-states).

Since the soft coup which removed the Islamists from power, the military National Security Council has been running Turkey in all but name. The thin veneer of democracy is for external consumption only.

Corruption is another unpleasant side effect of the arms trade. Not just the bribing of key figures in the destination country (and the rarely reported kickbacks to the principal players in the supply consortium), but also the corruption within government of the supply countries. In the UK arms to Iraq, in the US arms to Iran (and its close links with drugs and supplies to the Contras) and associated cover-ups.

Turkey is forming military alliances with Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Macedonia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and many central Asian states (former Soviet republics). Training is provided. A training centre opened in Ankara (July 1998).

Through training exercises and strategic alliances with Israel and Jordan, Turkey has reconnaissance ability over the Red Sea, Sinai Peninsular, north west Saudi Arabia and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Possibly even more worrying than the amount of weapons that the West has shipped to Turkey is the degree of technical know-how that the West has passed to Turkey. Turkey recognising that sooner or later public opinion is going to stop the sale of weapons to Turkey is placing priority on developing its own armaments industry through joint ventures and knowledge transfer. The negotiations with Sikorsky to buy 50 S-70 Black Hawk helicopters, may instead be a joint production deal even though it will cost Turkey more. The military command is now placing the emphasis on self-reliance. Already Turkey has sophisticated weapons and support systems on the market.

The West should have learnt the hard way from its experience with both Iran and Iraq. It appears that no lessons have been learnt.

Main suppliers to Turkey are US, UK and Germany. Turkey is involved in more than 80 projects of co-production or licencing for the production of more than 1,000 armoured combat vehicl es, 50 light transport aircraft, electronic warfare systems for locally built F-16s. Turkey is the world's main purchaser of attack and transport helicopters. Turkey is also the beneficiary of arms transfers from Nato members of redundant military equipment. Transfers from US, Netherlands and Germany include 1,008 tanks, 703 armed combat vehicles, 60 combat aircraft. With know-how gleaned from the West, Turkey has been able to establish its own defence industries, thus contributing to the wider danger of arms proliferation.

Germany has doubled its arms exports over the last five years. Sales of mainly submarines and armoured vehicles made Germany capture 11 percent of the global arms market. Warships made up 44 percent of all arms exports, while armoured vehicles accounted for 27 percent. Germany’s most customers included Turkey, Greece and South Africa. Fourteen percent of Germany’s arms exports went to Turkey.

29 September 2011, NEWSDESK, -- According to our latest correspondence Turkish warplanes have once again started bombing of Xinere and Xakurke areas this morning. Four aircrafts of Turkish colonial army raided the Defence Regions of Medya this morning at 9:50 of local time and bombed the Kurdish villages in Xinere and Xakurk areas. Yesterday at 5:20 pm also Turkish aircrafts bombed the same areas for three hours.

Iran bomb Kurdistan with the help of Turkey

13 September, 2011, In Iran, more than 50% of the population belong to ethnic minority groups, such as Turks, Kurds, Balochs, Turkmen, Arabs, Armenians and so on. In Iran, minorities don’t have the right to teach their native tongue or to express their culture in public. Political expression and freedom of speech are both banned. Execution or imprisonment awaits those who defend human rights. Iran’s system can be compared to the Taliban regime in Afghanistan or European medieval culture.

Turkey, as is commonly known, is a Nato-member, and it uses the organization’s weapons and force against Kurds. It has managed to get Kurdish political parties listed as terrorist organizations.

Turkey has also succeeded in making global opinion on Kurds turn negative. The double standards of the ruling Islamic party (the Justice and Development Party) of Turkey keeps growing. In Turkey only silent, assimilated Kurds are treated as normal citizens, but anyone who tries to protest against the current situation, even by silently marching, is treated by the government as a terrorist.

The Turkish government can use severe force to repress the Kurdish movement.

Since the 1990s the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has proclaimed a cease-fire with Turkey eight times, seeking to solve the Kurdish question in a peaceful manner. Turkey hasn’t responded to these cease-fires, but it has kept on bombing. On 17th August 2011 the Turkish army continued their airstrikes against the Kurdish guerilla fighters’ bases in the Qandil mountains. Ten people were killed in the airstrikes, including civilians, and dozens of villages destroyed. At the same time the Turkish Prime Minister travelled to Somalia to distribute food and medical aid to children there.

When news about violations and violence against Kurds come up, the microphones fall silent and the cameras are blind. There are numerous stories about wrongdoings: here it is possible to list only the most recent case of violence by governments against Kurds.

The collaboration between Iran and the US

On 16th July 2011 Iran’s army attacked Iraq’s Kurdistan. The reason given for these attacks is that Iran claims that a Kurdish political party (PJAK) holds its headquarters there. But suffocating PJAK isn’t the only reason why Iran is attacking Iraq’s Kurdistan – it’s also secretly hoping for the abolition of Kurdish autonomy. According to UN rules, the USA, as a conqueror, must defend the Iraqi border. But the USA remains silent and takes no action against these Iranian attacks.

In addition to this, the USA is in tight collaboration with Turkey by giving them the exact whereabouts of Kurdish guerilla fighters, first filming them with their newest technological equipment. Turkey then hands this information forward to the Iranian army. Thus, in an indirect manner, Iran and the USA are collaborating, joining their forces against the Kurds.

So far 200 people have died in these attacks and more than 1,000 families have been forced to leave their home in the countryside and flee. The Qandil mountains are located between the borders of Iran, Iraq and Turkey.

As superpowers, the EU and the USA have a duty to interfere in the continuous violations of human rights and the ethnocide that’s going on against the Kurds in the region of Iran, Syria and Turkey.

Interfering will also bring benefits to the EU and the USA because, if the political situation in the Middle-East is stabilized, fewer immigrants, notably Kurds, will flee to the West. The solving of the Kurdish question can be used to bring peace to the whole region. Activists everywhere in the world are fighting to stop animals from becoming extinct, and everyone is touched by the struggling pandas. It would be nice if the same energy and effort was put to solving the Kurdish question, so that the aboriginal people of the Mesopotamia – the cradle of the world – will not become extinct as well.

So..German authorities are filing a criminal complaint against Kurdish youths..are they..

29 September 2011, The Kurdish youngsters had occupied the German television offices to protest against the isolation imposed on Öcalan. Germany is talking about the six-hour action staged by the Kurdish youth at RTL building. While a criminal complaint was filed against Kurdish youngsters who presented a four-page file to RTL about the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the human rights abuses in Kurdistan, the German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Westerwelle, reacted strongly to the action and said; “We stand by Turkey in the fight against the PKK”.

Demonstrators were met with the harsh attitude of the police and television authorities who didn’t allow them to appear on the country's prime TV program “Explosiv” to tell about the recent operations of the Turkish army and the Kurdish policy of the AKP government that has been stiffened in the recent process.

About 30 demonstrators were hurriedly taken into custody by the police, and the RTL administration filed a criminal complaint against Kurdish demonstrators who didn’t damage the building nor interrupted the broadcast streaming in any way.

Following the action which started at 16:30 and lasted till 22.00, the most interesting statement came from the Free Democratic Party’s (FDP) Minister of Foreign Affairs Guido Westerwelle. Arguing that the action of Kurdish demonstrators is a blow dealt in the freedom of press, Westerwelle said; “Germany and the European Union consider the PKK as a terrorist organization.”

Turkish main stream media are playing a dangerous game using children to stir up hate

29 September 2011, Turkish main stream media are playing a dangerous game using children to stir up hate. We would like to believe that the photo shown on the mainstream papers, television, websites (with very few commendable exceptions) of a tubed baby in an incubator is not the photo of the little baby boy who died last night after being delivered by cesarean section as his mother was dying.

We are probably wrong. That probably is the real photo of that little boy. To put the photo of a suffering baby on the first page of papers and website is in itself an act of violence. Indeed there are international laws to protect the privacy and safety of minors. Most of Turkish mainstream media do not seemed to be bothered by laws, nor by an ethic of the journalistic profession which impose the respect of everyone's rights and children's in the first place.

But the fact that the photo of this little boy was published is to be condemn even stronger because it was published precisely to cause not just distraction, pain and compassion. Indeed it was published to provoke hate feelings.

The headlines were clearly stating the aim of such a ruthless decision: baby saved as mother killed by terrorists.

Now, what happen in Batman the other night will be investigated and shared with the public opinion. But the "truth" as told by the governor in the immediate aftermath of the tragic clash involving police and guerrillas is already proving not that 'solid'.

Indeed there are videos by eyewitnesses which seem to demonstrate that the car the young family was traveling in was in fact hit by police who was shooting at random.

Videos also show the police taking one guerrilla alive and you could hear the policemen shouting "kill him", "shoot him in the head".

So for the press to lend itself to what could amount to a cover up of the truth is never a good thing.
But more than anything to do so, to help the cover up, by walking over the rights of a child, and indeed the right of people to suffer and mourn, is indeed ethically wrong.

This is the time for the media to take a step back. A family has been destroyed. This is the reality everyone has been left to face. No one can return the loved ones to this wounded husband. But truth must be established, because knowing the truth would help the healing process.

Trying to cover up what really happened by pulling on hate strings is endangering the search for truth as well as digging once again the knife of that wounded family. Stirring up hate feelings do not serve peace.

Extermination of Kurds and mass murdering of Kurdish workers continue by Iranian soldiers

27 September 2011, MAKO, East Kurdistan, -- According to the local source, a Kurdish worker named Behman Teluhyan from Mako was killed by the Iranian soldiers. Mr Teluhyan was murdered near Dilwkbash village in Mako province. The victim was trapped in the ambush of Iranian soldiers with some other workers and was shot death.

Taking life of people in most parts of Iran and especially in Kurdistan are violently continued by Iranian Authorities and slaughtering innocent people becomes the everyday mission for the Iranian regime.

This is not the first time that the regime kills innocent people. Firstly, there is a high level of unemployment all over the country and especially in the Kurdistan region. This made people to struggle even for the very basic necessities risking their lives to make living. Thus people who are living on the borders are mostly taking goods from other side of Kurdistan (south of Kurdistan), and for doing so the soldiers shoot and kill them.

Serdesht’s rugged landscape set on fire. The forests around Qalareshe Village was set on fire.

SERDESHT, -- The countryside of the Serdesht city was set in fire and the Iranian regime didn’t make a single attempt to extinguish it. Last night, 26th Sep, the forests around Qalareshe Village was set in fire and continued until today morning. This has damaged many people’s gardens causing economic loss. Local people called the fire fighters to extinguish it, but none of them turned up.

This region is so rich for having black grape and pomegranates and thus had received a big loss. In addition, this area is strategic for having broad jungles.

This zone is located at the border with south of Kurdistan and some people bring goods from south of Kurdistan through this area. This led to murder of many Kurdish workers by Iranian soldiers.

Recently, the people of this region set fire on a military vehicle of the regime soldiers as a protest against the killing of workers.

In the last decade, in light of the stable population growth which is about 1.5 percent, the decrease of the number of students from 18 million to 12 million shows that about 6 million students have joined the school drop outs which is a cause for concern and very painful because according to this, from every 3 Iranian students, one student drops out and can no longer continue his\her education.

How Deeply is the U.S. involved in the Afghan Drug Trade?

U.S Marines patrol as Afghan men harvest opium in a poppy field in Golestan district of Farah province, Photo: REUTERS

The Huffington Post, October 15, 2008, Experience in Indochina and Central America suggests that CIA, the principal paymaster for U.S.-backed Afghan warlords, may be more deeply involved in the drug trade than we yet know.

RAWA: Since 2001 the opium cultivation increased over 4,400%. Under the US/NATO, Afghanistan became world largest opium producer, which produces 93% of world opium.

Most Europeans see the Afghan conflict as a 19th-century style colonial war for regional domination and resources. By contrast, Americans are still being misled by their corporate media and posturing politicians of both parties into believing the seven-year U.S. occupation of Afghanistan is a noble `anti-terrorism' mission that is defending women's rights and rebuilding a ravage nation instead of another brutal grab for energy, this time from the Caspian Basin.

In a troubling example of Vietnam-style 'mission creep,' the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, Gen. David McKiernan, is calling for 15,000 more American troops on top of the 8,000 now slated to arrive in January 2009. His predecessor told Congress that 400,000 U.S. troops would be needed to pacify Afghanistan.

When the history of U.S. involvement in Afghanistan is written, Washington's sordid involvement in the heroin trade and its alliance with drug lords and war criminals of the Afghan Communist Party will be one of the most shameful chapters.

Admiral Mullen also ordered U.S. and NATO forces to begin targeting Afghanistan's opium and heroin dealers. Under American tutelage, Afghanistan has become the world's leading narco-state, surpassing even Colombia, and now producing 90% of the world's heroin. Well over half of the nation's GDP consists of drug money. Considering this, Admiral Mullen's 'shoot on sight' orders seem rather overdue.

The 64,000 rupee question that arises from Admiral Mullen's new anti-drug policy is: Why was it not done seven years ago when the U.S. invaded Afghanistan? Why did Washington turn a blind eye to the Afghan drug trade and is only now taking some action?

The answer is simple and dismaying. America's local allies in Afghanistan, the politicians and warlords who overthrew Taliban in 2001, are up to their turbans in the heroin trade.

Drug money is the blood that courses through Afghanistan's veins and keeps the economy limping along. The U.S.-installed Karzai regime in Kabul propped up by US and NATO bayonets has only two sources of income: cash handouts from Washington, and the proceeds of drug dealing.

When Taliban ruled 90% of Afghanistan from 1996-2001, it almost totally stamped out poppy cultivation as un-Islamic. The UN's drug control agency has confirmed this fact.

The only remaining source of drug dealing was in the remote northeast of Afghanistan controlled by the Russian and Iranian-backed Northern Alliance, made up of Tajik Panshiri tribesmen, brutal Uzbek warlord Rashid Dostam, and the remains of the old Afghan Communist Party.

In 2001, the U.S. overthrew Taliban and put the drug-dealing Northern Alliance and Communists in power. Since then, Afghanistan's drug production has spread across the nation and exports have soared by 60-70%, making Afghanistan the source of nearly all the world's supply of heroin.

Washington called off efforts by the Drug Enforcement Agency to combat the Afghan drug trade for fear of endangering the power base of its former CIA `asset,' President Hamid Karzai. Starting with Karzai's brother, Ahmed Wali, the U.S.-installed regime's most important supporters are all involved in varying degrees with the heroin trade. As this writer has seen himself, almost every important warlord gets revenue from the drug trade. The Northern Alliance warlords are considered the biggest of the nation's narco-dealers. Ahmed Karzai denies involvement.

Moving against the drug warlords would have meant undermining Karzai's sole domestic support. So Washington held its nose and let the drug trade flourish in order to sustain the occupation. The faux `war on terror' and lust for Caspian energy trumped the old war on drugs.

Russian state-controlled Channel One TV has broadcast a report containing allegations that US forces are involved in drug-trafficking from Afghanistan to Europe. It also highlighted the problem of drug abuse in the British army.

Sott.net, February 19, 2008, Experience in Indochina and Central America suggests that CIA, the principal paymaster for U.S.-backed Afghan warlords, may be more deeply involved in the drug trade than we yet know.

Author Alfred McCoy's wrote a brilliant study in his ground-breaking `The Politics of Heroin' in which he documents how first French, then American intelligence was drawn into the heroin trade in Laos and Vietnam as a way of supporting anti-Communist guerilla fighters.

The same thing happened in Central America where CIA collaborated with cocaine-dealing members of the Contras.

In both cases, drugs served as a currency and became more important than paper money. French and American spies even ended up transporting heroin for their local allies. The same may be happening in Afghanistan.

Equally disturbing, there is no way that simple Afghan farmers or Taliban fighters are running the drug trade, as Washington claims.

Poppy sap is collected and converted into opium tar. Then it is smuggled to secret labs in Pakistan to be transformed into first morphine base, and then purified into heroin. None of these drugs would move south into Pakistan or be processed with imported chemicals without the full cooperation and assistance of the Afghan government, its supporting warlords, and local Pakistani officials. The drugs are then smuggled out of the port of Karachi, again under at protection by port and local officials. Pakistan is a key U.S. ally.

The Karzai regime has been totally corrupted by the drug trade, and so has parts of Pakistan's establishment. But the United States has also become corrupted in the sense that it has done nothing to combat this scourge and has collaborated with Afghanistan's drug barons by at minimum turning blind eye.

When the history of U.S. involvement in Afghanistan is written, Washington's sordid involvement in the heroin trade and its alliance with drug lords and war criminals of the Afghan Communist Party will be one of the most shameful chapters.

Iran Executes Hundreds in "War on Drugs"

Jun 27, 2011 (IPS) - Iran is drawing international criticism for its continued mass executions of people convicted of violating its drug laws. The Islamic Republic's judiciary reported that 300 people were on death row as of May 30.

"For 300 drug-related convicts, including those who were in possession of at least 30 grammes of heroin, execution verdicts have been issued," said Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi, Tehran's prosecutor- general, according to the Sharq daily newspaper.

The Iranian government has already hanged 126 people for drug offences so far this year, as of May 30, according to Hands Off Cain, a death penalty abolition organisation.

Iran executed 650 people in 2010, 590 of whom were convicted for drug offences, according to the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Office 2010 report on Human Rights and Democracy. This was up from 388 in 2009.

"Estimates suggest that Iran executes more people per capita than any other country in the world. The year 2010 saw a steep increase in the number of executions in response to a tough new anti-drugs policy," the report states.

"We've seen a huge surge in numbers being reported by the government, we're not sure whether they're the actual numbers," Faraz Sanei, Iran and Bahrain researcher with Human Rights Watch's Middle East and North Africa division, told IPS.

Some of the executions have been recent. Iran executed Esmaeel G., Hossein N., Hasan Q., and Hasan K. for drug offences on Jun. 1, according to Iran's justice department website.

On Jun. 19, two men - Siah Khan Sh. and Mohammad N. - were hanged for drug-related convictions, according to the Ettelaat newspaper of Iran.

The executions are most often carried out by hanging, although another common method is firing squad. Iran's method of hanging, called suspension strangulation, is particularly cruel and involves strangulating someone by pulling them upward with a crane.

"The number of executions in Iran is high because 74 percent of those executed are traffickers in large quantities of opium from Afghanistan bound for European markets," Mohammad Javad Larijani, head of Iran's Supreme Council for Human Rights, said during a press conference in May.

The press conference followed a meeting with South African Deputy Foreign Minister Ebrahim Ebrahim, at which South Africa criticised the sentences.

It is not disputed that Iran has some serious problems with drugs and drug trafficking. Many Iranians have addiction problems with heroin and opium, while some have reportedly turned to making chemical drugs in their homes.

In addition, " Iran is dealing with a problem of armed drug trafficking gangs from Afghanistan, paramilitaries. There have been levels of violence between traffickers and government forces," Ethan Nadelmann, executive director of the Drug Policy Alliance, told IPS.

Still, "that is no reason to move forward with the hanging of 300 people, not people who are drug lords. Essentially people get caught up in low-level drug offences," Nadelmann said.

Larijani defended Iran during the press conference. "There is an easy way for Iran and that is to close our eyes so drug traffickers can just pass through Iran to anywhere they want to go," Larijani said. "The number of executions in Iran would drop 74 percent. That would be very good for our reputation." But Nadelmann said, "The Iranians are being disingenuous when they say there's a requirement to execute people because of Western law."

Iran may be in violation of international law, specifically the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, of which Iran is a signatory, Sanei argued. The ICCPR says the death penalty, if not abolished entirely, should be reserved for the most serious and grave offences.

"Look at the Iranian penal code. A whole host of crimes can get you the death penalty. A large number of these crimes would not be considered by human rights lawyers to be serious," Sanei said.

"One of those are drug offences... many of the individuals on death row in Iran are essentially on death row for drug possession," Sanei said, adding, "The amount of drug required under Iranian law to get you the death penalty is very small."

"The judiciary is extremely nontransparent in Iran. We don't believe these individuals have fair trials. In particular with drug laws in Iran, there's been a streamlining process in last several years which allows, when they get someone for drug trafficking, it's not appealable. It goes back to the prosecutor's office, that's the person who decides if they should be executed or not. This completely violates international trial standards," Sanei said, adding that access to attorneys is often also a problem.

At the same time that Iran has taken increasingly severe approach in sentencing those convicted of violating drug laws, it also had embraced a public health or harm reduction approach in terms of needle exchange programmes. "Five years ago the Ayatollah declared needle exchange programmes okay under Sharia law," Nadelmann said, adding that the decision was in part out of concern for preventing the spread of HIV.

"Because of the growing totalitarian nature of the Ajmadinejad government, there has been less support for harm reduction, but it still continues," Nadelmann said. Meanwhile, India's Supreme Court announced last week that the death penalty for drug related offences was unconstitutional.

"High level cooperation's" and military trainings..Yeah..How to throw people from bridges, plant weapons on victims..in instigated genocidal war-fares with genocidal tactics, like the Pakistani army!

More "great partners against terrorism" UNARMED "terrorists"..It´s not just killings - it´s GENOCIDES!

At the same time Robert #¤%¤¤ Gates sits in meeting in Iraq. You know..the "Iran - contra Gates". Yeah..there was some drugs there as well, while people are hanged for over 30 years..The US, Treasury department, UK, Israeli governments are sooo #¤#¤¤ welcome..*NOT*! DON´T COME #¤#¤¤ HERE! DONE! FINISHED!

Teachers, students, drug dealers while the poppy fields blooms besides US, UK troops, political prisoners, Iranians, Kurds, Baloch, activists and any "terrorists" for over 30 years. By the way which the hell are those behind masks? They wear the same black clothes as British SAS!

While the "great partners against terrorism" bombs..Yeah..and all that intelligence..

Two explosions in Uteifiya injure 5 people.
Car bomb near a liquor store injures 8 people.

At a conference in Turkey, the head of the Iraqi Parliament's energy committee, Adnan Janabi, casts doubt on previously announced targets for petroleum extraction of 12 million BBD. Iraq has scheduled another round of exploration rights auctions for January.

Afghanistan: 8 police killed in an attack in Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province.

"For the marginalized" and "democracy" for every one except for the Kurds and Gaza citizens", bullsh*t!

Homs: "Hear the terrible sound bombs in the street Zeer and sounds above frightened children in Bayada." "Hear the sound of explosions in many neighborhoods (Derbaalbh Bayada Khalidiya Bab sba' Aldreb a;Waer) and heard the heavy fire and in several other districts."

A girl was violated and raped, she was abducted and raped in her way to school. She was found in the orchards surrounding the city. Her health was in a very critical condition, the effects of assault, battery, tearing of clothes, all showed on her, she was in a state of collapse.

Homs - Al-Qalaa shelled. Qunaiterat, an eastern village that is 30 km apart from Homs, blockaded the hospital there and damaged some parts of it in pretext that it reliefs wounded of the protests, in addition they arrested many young men and burned motorcycles.

Yemen -Taiz : Sounds of warplanes flying over the city minutes after the shelling from the Central Security camp on the city. Two heavy explosions shake Taiz moments ago, caused by 2 heavy artillery shells on Al-Rawdha and Hawdh Al-Ashraf districts. Continuing attacks on Arhab, Nahim and Taiz for months by forces.

While aided and armed dictators with trained forces and opposition are talking a whole lot of bullsh*t while citizens all over are exterminated!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011

Well..Take a look at the #¤%¤¤ psychopathic mass genocidals all over the region!

60 people arrested at activists’ funeral

Stir up some trouble and unrest and we bet they cannot wait to get some justifications to get in AND EXTERMINATE YOU ALL! The Iranian regime was not promoted to power and have had free hands for over 30 years for nothing! "Democracy" for every one except for the Kurds and Palestinians", BULLSH*T!

Some one arrest..THAT #¤#¤¤ PSYCHO! Between UK, US aided, armed and trained dictators and military and Russia!

A #¤#¤%&¤ Marathon of full fledged genocides all over the region and beyond. And a whole LOT of bullsh*ttalk between aided, trained and armed totalitarian regimes, promoted dictators and forces! JUST like Saddam was! BE VERY #¤#¤¤¤ SURE WE UNDERSTANDS MORE THAN ENOUGH!

Yeha it´s a great UN body..isn´t it..

With members that are more than complicit in crimes against humanity, instigating, orchestrating, arming, aiding ethnically cleanings and genocides and carries them out! No #¤%¤¤ wonder the Iranian regime have had free hands against "Iranian, Kurdish and Baloch terrorists" for over 30 years after have been promoted to power and now some are "disturbed" by the same regime! Bullsh*t!

B-U-L-L-S-H-*-T! Bullsh*t while people all over the whole #¤%¤¤ region and beyond are committed genocide on!

Some one arrest..THAT #¤#¤¤ PSYCHO!

...that #¤#¤¤ US-Jewish administration, Turkish, Russian, UK, Israeli leaders, mass-genocidals like Kissinger and Madeline Albright! Why not the whole #¤#¤ UN body with security council Secretary´s as well, while already at it!

It´s actually more of a rule than a exception that ambassadors are all around everywhere when crimes against humanity and full fledged genocides are committed!

There is no way in Hell Turkish leaders and their "high level cooperation's" with the Syrian regime, while bombing Kurds and Iraqis are exterminated, the mass-genocidal Madeline Albright and National endowment of "democracy" with US, Israeli, and UK´s propped up, trained and armed dictators with "oppositions" that are ALL talking a whole LOT of bullsh*t while people are exterminated. And Russian leaders on "the other side" as a permanent member in the UN body that is totally f#¤#¤¤ up, are going to be totally innocent in crimes against humanity all over the region and beyond! IN HELL!
