DIALA / Aswat al-Iraq: A total of 39 policemen were arrested by security forces on Monday for their involvement in the recent bombing that took place in Khales district, a governmental source said. “Security forces launched several military operations in Khales, north of Baaquba, where they arrested 39 policemen, suspected of being involved in the attack that rattled the district on May 21,” deputy chairman of the Diala council, Sadeq al-Husseini, told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. Iran: Political prisoners under SEVERE torture some or many causing deaths
31 May 2010, Political prisoners in Iran continue to grapple with mounting human rights abuses by the Iranian regime. Recently, following the broadcast of a shocking footage of the clerical regime’s tortures against prisoners at Karaj’s Gohardasht prison, agents from the regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), transferred one of the victims to solitary confinement where they placed him under torture and cruel treatment.
The MOIS agents have been dispatched from Tehran to Gohardasht prison in order to identify those responsible for leaking footage outside the prison. 20 prisoners have been transferred to the Protection Office of the facility.
It has been reported that Hassan Akharian has been involved in the cruel tortures carried out against political prisoners.
Separately, at an appeals court, the regime sentenced another political prisoner to 10 years of imprisonment. Prior to the ruling, Seyyed Zia Nabavi was banned from continuing his university education.
Nabavi’s charges include participation in protests and cooperation with the main opposition, People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). He was arrested along with a number of other people during an MOIS raid at a friend’s house on June 15, 2009. He spent months in solitary confinement at Ward 209 of the notorious Evin prison in Tehran, where he was placed under torture.
On Saturday, May 29, another political prisoner and student activist, Majid Tavakkoli, who had been on a hunger strike for the past 6 days, was transferred from solitary confinement to the public ward. Tavakkoli, has been weakened considerably after his hunger strike.
Two other imprisoned students, Hossein Ronaqi and Kouhiar Goudarzi are still on a hunger strike, while Mansour Osanlou, the Head of Tehran’s Bus Drivers’ Union, was recently transferred to the so-called Methadone Ward of Gohardasht prison in Karaj where dangerous prisoners are held. Mr. Osanlou has been in prison since the summer of 2007.
What did he do? Voted on the regime´s OWN "opposition" they have made up, to justify the most gross crimes against those voting on them? It´s like parents giving their children some sweets and then beat them to ¤%¤¤ death for eating it!

33 Turkish soldiers and village guards were killed in recent clashes in North Kurdistan, People’s Defence Forces of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) claimed. “The clashes are a result of retaliatory attacks for military incursion of Turkish army” the statement said. 33 soldiers were killed in clashes in Sirnak, Hakkari, Siirt and Mardin.
16 were killed in a single attack in Sirnak province at Uludere on May 26. HPG also said the attacks in Siirt provice at Pervari targeted those who are responsible for “rape scandal”.
2 soldiers were killed in Pervari on Thursday.
Eight minors aged 13 and 14 who study at a boarding school in Siirt’s Pervari district had raped two toddlers aged 2 and 3 last year, killing one of them. Pervari Mayor İsmail Bilen and several other officials attempted to cover-up the rape incident.

A shocked UN chief calls for full inquiry
AFP - UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said Monday he was "shocked" by a deadly Israeli raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla and demanded a full investigation. "I am shocked by reports of killings and injuries of people on boats carrying supplies for Gaza," the UN chief said. "I condemn this violence," Ban added. "It is vital that there is a full investigation to determine exactly how this bloodshed took place," Ban said.
"I believe Israel must urgently provide a full explanation." The UN chief said that a detailed account of the incident was needed before the international community could coordinate its response. "I'm sure that there will be enough time for the international community to assess the proper response including through the United Nations," he explained.
"Right now, what is absolutely vital is that we first have a full account of the incident, what had happened, and Israel must provide the full explanation on this. "For any further course of action I will have to discuss with member states of the United Nations Security Council or other concerned parties," Ban said.

Navy escorts flotilla ships to Ashdod
Armed Navy ships escorted boats from the Gaza protest flotilla to Ashdod on Monday afternoon, hours after IDF soldiers and activists clashed in a fatal raid. International activists aboard the ships opened fire on IDF soldiers who boarded the ships to prevent them from breaking the Israeli-imposed sea blockade, the IDF said Monday.
According to the IDF, the international activists “prepared a lynch” for the soldiers who boarded the ships at about 2 a.m. Monday morning after the soldiers called on them to stop, or follow them to the Ashdod Port several hours earlier. According to IDF reports, at least 15 activists were killed during the ensuing clashes and dozens were wounded. Some of the wounded were evacuated to Israeli hospitals by Air Force helicopters.
Five Navy commandos were also wounded, some of them from gunfire. At least two soldiers were seriously wounded. In international reactions, Turkey, Sweden and Greece summonsed their Israeli ambassadors for discussions on the violence.
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas also responded to the clashes, which he called a "slaughter," according to an AFP report.
Upon boarding the ships, the soldiers encountered fierce resistance from the passengers who were armed with knives, bats and metal pipes. The soldiers used non-lethal measures to disperse the crowd. The activists, according to an IDF report, succeeded in stealing two handguns from soldiers and opened fire, leading to an escalation in violence. "It was like a well-planned lynch,” one IDF officer said. “These people were anything but peace activists.”
The IDF said that the ships would be taken to the Ashdod Port where, despite the violence, the cargo they hold will be inspected and then transferred to the Gaza Strip via land crossings. Israeli Navy commander Vice-Admiral Eliezer Marom was commanding over the operation from sea. The Navy made initial contact with the flotilla at 11 p.m. on Sunday ordering the ships to follow them to Ashdod Port or otherwise be boarded. The actual boarding of the ships took place at 2 a.m. Monday and was yet to be completed by 8 a.m.
Activists aboard the ships repeatedly said they would not respond with violence to the navy's interception of their flotilla prior to the boarding.
Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh appeared on Al-Jazeera television to condemn the “brutal attack” and called on the UN to intervene on the activists' behalf.

The convoy of aid and foreign activists had set off in international waters off Cyprus Sunday in defiance of the Israeli-led blockade of Gaza and warnings that it would be intercepted.
Israel had expected the operation to end without bloodshed and had prepared tents in an Israeli port for detainees. The incident created a diplomatic storm with long-time Muslim ally Turkey, whose flag some of the six ships were flying.
The Turkish government said it "strongly protested" the military action, calling the interception unacceptable. "Israel will have to endure the consequences of this behavior" a Turkish Foreign Ministry statement said.
Mark Regev, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said Israel had not wanted a violent confrontation. "We made repeated offers that they should bring the boats to the port of Ashdod and from there we guaranteed that all humanitarian cargo would be transferred to the people of Gaza," he said.
"Unfortunately this group decided on confrontation. They decided on violence...And when our navy had to intercept, our young servicemen were attacked with live ammunition." Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, whose Fatah faction lost control of the Gaza Strip in fighting with Hamas in 2007, declared three days of mourning in the Palestinian territories.
Captured ships were sailing toward Israel's southern Mediterranean port of Ashdod, Israeli media said.
"How could the Israeli military attack civilians like this?" asked Greta Berlin, a spokeswoman for the Free Gaza Movement that organized the convoy. "Do they think that because they can attack Palestinians indiscriminately they can attack anyone?
The flotilla was organized, among others, by a Turkish human rights organization. Turkey had urged Israel to allow it safe passage and said the 10,000 tonnes of aid the convoy was carrying was humanitarian.
Turkey, long Israel's best Muslim ally in a hostile Middle East, was highly critical of Israel's attack on Gaza 18 months ago, in which 1,400 Palestinians were killed. Relations between the two states are now distinctly chilly and bloodshed at sea will do nothing to improve them.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli commandos intercepted Gaza-bound aid ships Monday and at least 10 pro-Palestinian activists on board were killed in bloodshed that plunged Israel into a diplomatic crisis. Israel's military said its troops came under gunfire and knife attack during the takeover. "Our initial findings show that at least 10 convoy participants were killed," an Israeli military spokesman said, adding that at least four soldiers were wounded.

Mark Regev, a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, said Israel had not wanted a violent confrontation. "Unfortunately this group decided on confrontation. They decided on violence...And when our navy had to intercept, our young servicemen were attacked with live ammunition." Israel's Western allies have been critical of the embargo on the impoverished enclave, which the Jewish state says is aimed at preventing arms supplies from reaching Hamas by sea. It has previously halted such activist ships, although some others have reached the Gaza Strip before.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, whose Fatah faction lost control of the Gaza Strip in fighting with Hamas in 2007, declared three days of mourning in the Palestinian territories.
Captured ships were sailing toward Israel's southern Mediterranean port of Ashdod, Israeli media said.
"How could the Israeli military attack civilians like this?" asked Greta Berlin, a spokeswoman for the Free Gaza Movement that organized the convoy. "Do they think that because they can attack Palestinians indiscriminately they can attack anyone?
The flotilla was organized, among others, by a Turkish human rights organization. Turkey had urged Israel to allow it safe passage and said the 10,000 tonnes of aid the convoy was carrying was humanitarian.
Turkey, long Israel's best Muslim ally in a hostile Middle East, was highly critical of Israel's attack on Gaza 18 months ago, in which 1,400 Palestinians were killed. Relations between the two states are now distinctly chilly and bloodshed at sea will do nothing to improve them.

Army kills killer of al-Iraqiya List’s candidate in Mosul
NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: A military force killed on Monday the killer of al-Iraqiya List candidate Bashar al-Akidi in central Mosul, a source from the Ninewa Operations Command said. “An army force killed on Monday afternoon (May 31) the killer of al-Iraqiya List candidate Bashar al-Akidi in Bab al-Toub region in central Mosul,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The forces managed to get him after receiving information on his presence inside a restaurant in the region,” he added. “The force found a fake ID with him with the name Mohammad Hamed, but his real name is Zyad Mahmoud,” he siad, without giving further details.
Bashar Hamed al-Akidi and his driver were wounded last Monday (May 24) when unknown gunmen opened fire on them in front of his house in al-Aamel neighborhood in western Mosul. They died later of wounds in the hospital.

JERUSALEM – The Israeli military says more than 10 pro-Palestinian activists have been killed after attacking naval commandos who were halting an aid flotilla heading toward the blockaded Gaza Strip. It says the violence turned deadly after one of the activists grabbed a weapon from one of the commandos. The weapon discharged, though it wasn't clear whether the activist fired it or if it went off accidentally. The army says dozens of people were wounded, both soldiers and activists. Israeli Arab groups say a prominent activist is among the wounded. Israeli police say they have heightened security around the country.

Four of those executed were the kurdish political prisoners Farzad Kamangar, Ali Heydarian, Farhad Vakili and Shirin Alamhooli, all convicted of membership in PJAK while the fifth person was Mehdi Eslamian. The spokesperson of Iran Human Rights condemned today’s executions and said: "None of the five executed today had fair trials and they had been subjected to torture while in the prison". He continued: "We ask the UN, EU and the international community to condemn these execution". He added: "Several other political prisoners are at imminent danger of execution and the world community should not let that happen."

Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, one of the most notorious prisons in Iran, has turned into a place for more than 70 political prisoners. Under the blind eye of prison authorities, Rajai Shahr is a place of torture, rape, murder, and many other human rights violations.
In general, the picture of abuse, rape and torture aim to reveal that the behaviour of prison authorities is against all legal and humanitarian principles. Documents illustrate the dire situation prisoners face in Rajai Shahr prison and the lack of responsibility and action taken by prison officials and the judiciary to confront the atrocities.
The previous head of Rajai Shahr (M. SH) was sentenced and arrested in 2003 for trafficking Iranian girls to Persian Gulf countries. Now, he is responsible for imprisoned Basij members.
R. Khademi, formerly responsible for security at Rajai Shahr, was transferred to a different location due to inappropriate contact with a number of female prisoners. There was also the arrest of a doctor and a number of prison authorities for reasons such as inappropriate contact with prisoners and drug trafficking.

In the name of God, I am *** ***, I went to the security offices to file a complaint about a situation. The day I went, Mr. Akharian (head of ward 1 in Rajai Shahr prison) got angry and threatened me. He told my family that ***** is dead and that they need to come to the hospital to pick up the corpse. My family went to the hospital where they were told I wasn’t dead and they realized they had been lied to.
I had been under a physician’s care and was taking about 15 pills due to a medical condition, but they took those pills away. I wasn’t feeling well and begged them to let me speak to someone in charge, but they did not allow me to do that. I got so sick and I attempted to light myself on fire, but they stopped me and sprayed tear gas in my cell. Then they opened the door and hit me in my face with batons.
They suddenly opened the door and started beating me in my face with wooden batons. Mr. Mirzaghayi, Mr. Zeynali, Mr. Yousefi and Mr. Moradi had all come and they were the ones beating me with batons. All of a sudden I saw that Mr. Moradi was holding a knife. I don’t know if he had just found it or if he had brought it to stab me. I don’t know.
They all attacked me and hit me more, then they took me to a very dark room with no cameras. They beat me harder, tied me up, blindfolded me, tortured me, took my clothes off, hung me, and inserted batons inside of me. I kept pleading with them, begging them, asking them, “Isn’t there a God. Isn’t there a Prophet?” They responded, “We are God and we are the Prophet.”
I asked them if there was someone in charge in the place. They responded that they were they ones in charge. Mr. Mirzaghayi replied, “I have orders. I have orders from Mr. Akharian who has given me permission to do whatever I want.”
They kept beating me with their batons until they broke my legs. I was then taken into a room and left there all night, still naked with my hands tied behind my back. I was suffocating and in great pain because of my broken legs. By morning, my broken legs were bleeding badly and I begged them to take me to the prison clinic, but they refused.
They finally had to take me to the prison clinic. The doctor said if they performed surgery I would have to stay there to recover and they had been told that they were not allowed to keep me there for recovery. Then I told him I would lodge a complaint against them. I asked him if Mr. Akharian had given the orders and he replied yes. Mr. Akharian had told him not to perform surgery.
Mr. Gerami and Mr. Ali Mohammadi came. They all said it was out of their hands because they were under the strict orders of Mr. Akharian. So again I said I would lodge a complaint.
I finally convinced them to let me receive an operation.
I was in the prison clinic for four days. Mr. Mirzaghai came to visit me and said, “That place where we stuck the batons into you still has not healed. Too bad. Does it hurt? We’re going to make it worse. Why did you have to complain? Why did you complain to the infirmary?”
The doctors said to me, “That day when you got in all that trouble with those guys, you should have known better than to mess with them. They are the ones who told us to give you this medicine and do this to you. Now look at you. You are not allowed to make a phone call. You are not allowed to talk. You are not allowed to have any visitors. We’re taking care of you, but you don’t even deserve it. We should kill you. They said, “If you don’t do it, not only will you not achieve anything, we will kill you and we will just throw your corpse out of here. There is nothing you can do here. The law enforcer is with us. He isn’t going to acknowledge anything that happened to you; not your broken legs and not the baton that we stuck into you. We are the ones in charge here. We tell them what to say.”
They also told my family that Rajai Shahr prison runs on its own. There is no authority over the prison. In this prison there is no government. There is no Islam. Here they kill people the same way they drink water. Here they have tortured people much worse than they have tortured me.
They just beat everybody. They have tortured so many people, after which they force them to say whatever they demand. If anyone dares think of complaining, they will torture him even more.
Prisoners get thrown in a dark camera-less room that no one knows of and they get beaten up. If anyone asks about the prisoner, they lie and say he is at the infirmary or somewhere else. In that room, you are not given water, bread, or anything. There is no toilet.
There is just no logic to anything that the prison officials do. This place is worse than Kahrizak. There are no human rights here. There are no human beings in charge. There is no law.
There is nothing here. There is nothing.
They just kill people like they are drinking water.

May 28 – Inmates of a prison cellblock in Karaj known as the “Doghouse” are harassed and tortured; their hands, feet or jaws sometimes broken in brutal treatment by the head of the unit, where they are sent for protesting.
Two of the Gohardasht Prison inmates are currently hospitalised and more than a dozen are in solitary confinement. Another of the many Doghouse prisoners tortured is a man who has been jailed for six years. He was thrown in solitary after protesting insults by Yusefi, a prison official.
According to sources reports, the Doghouse head, Hassan Akharian, called his mother and told her that her son had passed away and his body was in the hospital for them to collect for burial.
He then asked to see the prison warden, but this request was refused as well. He was taken to another cell used for torturing prisoners while his body was burned. He was shackled and blindfolded and tortured for a long time with clubs. His hands and feet broke as a result.
Then he was stripped and sodomised with clubs by Mirza Aqayi, the officer in charge, and two guards named Yusefi and Shirkhani. He passed out as a result of the torture and the guards splashed water in his face until he came to and repeated the sexual torture. All the tortures were carried out under the supervision of Hassan Akharian.
He was kept in this condition for one month with a broken hand and foot and while his body was injured, bruised and bloody. His feet became infected after a while and he went into a coma and prison guards were forced to take him to the infirmary.
The infirmary at first refused to take him in because he was near death and did not want to take his responsibility. Finally a Dr took him in and after he became conscious, told prison officials that he needed an urgent surgery. But Akharian refused and threw him in solitary again until after two days, he was taken for an operation because of pressure from the infirmary.
His family filed a suit against the crimes committed against their son. A person has threatened him that if he does not take back his complaint, he will have to face the consequences. Akharian beat him again in front of other prisoners with a baton, trying to pressure him into taking back his complaint.
Other prisoners have the same situation and a number of them are still in solitary. They are Ahmad Ashkan, Reza Jalaleh, Majid Afshar, Mohsen Bigvand, Taqi Nazari, Mehdi Surani (his jaw broke as a result of the tortures and he is in solitary), Qeisar Ismaili, Majid Mahmoudi, Naser Quchanlou, Hossein Karimi, Hamid Ashki, Shir-Mohammad Mohammadi and Hassan Sharifi who has been kept in solitary for six months for no reason and is tortured on a daily basis.

Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, one of the most notorious prisons in Iran, has turned into a place for more than 70 political prisoners. Under the blind eye of prison authorities, Rajai Shahr is a place of torture, rape, murder, and many other human rights violations.
In general, the picture of abuse, rape and torture aim to reveal that the behaviour of prison authorities is against all legal and humanitarian principles. Documents illustrate the dire situation prisoners face in Rajai Shahr prison and the lack of responsibility and action taken by prison officials and the judiciary to confront the atrocities.
The previous head of Rajai Shahr (M. SH) was sentenced and arrested in 2003 for trafficking Iranian girls to Persian Gulf countries. Now, he is responsible for imprisoned Basij members.
R. Khademi, formerly responsible for security at Rajai Shahr, was transferred to a different location due to inappropriate contact with a number of female prisoners. There was also the arrest of a doctor and a number of prison authorities for reasons such as inappropriate contact with prisoners and drug trafficking.

In the name of God, I am *** ***, I went to the security offices to file a complaint about a situation. The day I went, Mr. Akharian (head of ward 1 in Rajai Shahr prison) got angry and threatened me. He told my family that ***** is dead and that they need to come to the hospital to pick up the corpse. My family went to the hospital where they were told I wasn’t dead and they realized they had been lied to.
I had been under a physician’s care and was taking about 15 pills due to a medical condition, but they took those pills away. I wasn’t feeling well and begged them to let me speak to someone in charge, but they did not allow me to do that. I got so sick and I attempted to light myself on fire, but they stopped me and sprayed tear gas in my cell. Then they opened the door and hit me in my face with batons.
They suddenly opened the door and started beating me in my face with wooden batons. Mr. Mirzaghayi, Mr. Zeynali, Mr. Yousefi and Mr. Moradi had all come and they were the ones beating me with batons. All of a sudden I saw that Mr. Moradi was holding a knife. I don’t know if he had just found it or if he had brought it to stab me. I don’t know.
They all attacked me and hit me more, then they took me to a very dark room with no cameras. They beat me harder, tied me up, blindfolded me, tortured me, took my clothes off, hung me, and inserted batons inside of me. I kept pleading with them, begging them, asking them, “Isn’t there a God. Isn’t there a Prophet?” They responded, “We are God and we are the Prophet.”
I asked them if there was someone in charge in the place. They responded that they were they ones in charge. Mr. Mirzaghayi replied, “I have orders. I have orders from Mr. Akharian who has given me permission to do whatever I want.”
They kept beating me with their batons until they broke my legs. I was then taken into a room and left there all night, still naked with my hands tied behind my back. I was suffocating and in great pain because of my broken legs. By morning, my broken legs were bleeding badly and I begged them to take me to the prison clinic, but they refused.
They finally had to take me to the prison clinic. The doctor said if they performed surgery I would have to stay there to recover and they had been told that they were not allowed to keep me there for recovery. Then I told him I would lodge a complaint against them. I asked him if Mr. Akharian had given the orders and he replied yes. Mr. Akharian had told him not to perform surgery.
Mr. Gerami and Mr. Ali Mohammadi came. They all said it was out of their hands because they were under the strict orders of Mr. Akharian. So again I said I would lodge a complaint.
I finally convinced them to let me receive an operation.
I was in the prison clinic for four days. Mr. Mirzaghai came to visit me and said, “That place where we stuck the batons into you still has not healed. Too bad. Does it hurt? We’re going to make it worse. Why did you have to complain? Why did you complain to the infirmary?”
The doctors said to me, “That day when you got in all that trouble with those guys, you should have known better than to mess with them. They are the ones who told us to give you this medicine and do this to you. Now look at you. You are not allowed to make a phone call. You are not allowed to talk. You are not allowed to have any visitors. We’re taking care of you, but you don’t even deserve it. We should kill you. Just like we did with Siamak Bandeloo and other people who we killed by injection. We should kill you too.”

Glacier breakdown in Skardu
At least three people were killed and several others injured as a glacier breakdown ran over a vehicle. 22 were traveling from Hussaini Top to Gul Tari area, according to local residents.
The local administration said that nine persons were rescued alive while three lost their lives.
The frequency of glacier breakdown and avalanches has increased many folds in the recent years in the mountainous northern areas.

Turkey: "It´s going on routine"..
President of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament Kamal Kirkuki condemned recent attacks by Iran and Turkey on the border region. Kirkuki told the members of the parliament that Iran and Turkey are responsible for civilian causalities and called both countries to immediately stop bombing Kurdish region. Kirkuki described Iran and Turkey's stance unacceptable.
Last week Kirkuki warned Iran to respect the sovereignty of Iraq. "The shelling by Iran and Turkey on Iraq's villages will not only hurt the civilians who live on the border and Kurdistan Region, but it will also hurt the Islamic Republic of Iran" Kirkuki said.
Turkish and Iranian artillery intensified "routine bombings" on the border region for over 4 weeks. Earlier this month a civilian from Sheladizah region was reportedly killed by Turkish artillery fire. Four others were wounded.
At least 17 civilians were wounded in May as a result of Turkish and Iranian attacks. Last week 20 Turkish military aircrafts bombed the region in a mid-day raid and killed 4 Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) guerillas. Some civilian causalities were also reported.

According to information obtained by ANF, (Öcalan) regarding not being able to find an interlocutor for a peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue, said: I am withdrawing after May 31st. This is not a call for war; I am not starting a war. In its current state the process has no gain for Kurds, for the KCK (People’s Confederation of Kurdistan) or the (Turkish) state. From now on the responsibility lies with the KCK; in fact it lies with the BDP (Peace & Democracy Party) and the state.
They are trying to suppress the people. These attacks may increase and continue; precautions must be taken. It is being voiced in many quarters that these attacks and lynches are planned, that they are aimed at suppressing and breaking the will of our people and youth and that they are aimed at preparing society for a massacre.
They want to administer a political, social, economic and cultural genocide on the Kurds. There are 1500 Kurdish politicians and hundreds of women and children behind bars. All these attacks are linked to each other and are being carried out by one central power.
Do not take this the wrong way. I am not calling for or starting a war. In its current state the process has no gain for Kurds, for the KCK (People’s Confederation of Kurdistan) or the (Turkish) state. They must decide on what they wish to do. (Cemil) Bayik, (Murat) Karayilan, (Duran Kalkan) Abbas and (Ali Haydar Kaytan) Haydar are sincere; they have undertaken and committed to being the leaders of our people. From now on this heavy responsibility lies with them. If conditions change and an interlocutor becomes apparent then I am ready to negotiate.
“It is important in this period that the Kurds in all four parts (of Kurdistan) strengthen their national unity and come together at a National Unity Congress that can be organised in Erbil. International public opinion, intellectuals and democrats should not view the Kurdish issue as just being an ethnic struggle. The Kurdish Revolution is at the heart of the Middle East."
It is not like Palestine or Afghanistan. The results of this revolution will be like those of the French and Russian Revolutions; however unlike them it will be rid of nationalism. My project for a solution is based on democratic autonomy. On one hand democratic autonomy does not conflict with international borders, on the other it rejects global hegemony but does not clash with it. It is a system that protects its own principles without dissolving inside global hegemony (empire).
This solution also comprises the principles of Democratic Confederalism. It comprises political, social-cultural, economic, diplomatic and security issues. The resolution of this issue based around democratic autonomy will illuminate the whole of the Middle East and become a model for Italy and Spain. My views regarding the state and hegemony are parallel to those of (Antonio) Gramsci. Whereas Marx accepted the nation-state, I do not. The reason for the crisis in Europe is the nation-state structure and its mentality.
“Kurds should not accept the AKP’s (Justice and Development Party) false constitution referendum. This change in constitution is a fake step that is being used to cover the political and cultural genocide being implemented against Kurds. Furthermore it is an initiative that will defer and eliminate the chance to make a democratic constitution."
The BDP and Kurds can create an alternative against this. They can declare their own constitution and democratic autonomy and take it to a referendum. They can appeal to the people, consult them and give them an alternative choice.
“There is a fascist oligarchic alliance made up of the AKP, CHP (Republican People’s Party) and MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) against the Kurds.”
“The state must adhere to the laws of war and not target civilians, women and children."
From now on the PKK can compromise with the state, or resolve the issue; they can also fight like in the 90’s and reach a deadlock. And there is also the possibility that the PKK will lose the war and be eliminated, we cannot know. It is anyone’s guess what will happen when the war escalates. This is why I would like to call on Prime Minister Erdoğan once again. We can resolve this issue amongst ourselves using peaceful and democratic means. Otherwise all the responsibility lies with the AKP government.

So... it´s just not enough with Russia "wanting a suitable government of Afghanistan", after U.S. troops have withdrawn, and massacre any ones that do not suit! With warlords that have done a whole lot of damage with attacks, bombings and killings in the same ¤%¤¤ areas people are dying in today. But it will be a very hard work to make it work with reconciliations and holding people responsible.
It´s not just as simple as killing any ones that moves while the Iranian regime has their "fellows" in Herat! And putting label on HUMANS such as "Talibans"! Dehumanization's and label humans in other ways for what they are is just one way in a criminal system to justify massacres and actually ethnically cleanings.
"Talibans" which means student and was a student movement have been massacred in the 7-8 thousands and were orphans after Russia´s and the U.S. wars, used by CIA and Pakistani government and ISI, killed by war lords in the masses and have in fact being committed crimes against just as the rest of the Afghans.
In here, we do not use such labels but reality is that this is ethnically people and tribes that have been massacred and used in the masses which are Afghans and THEY are not the ones coming into the U.S. and Russia to slaughter people BUT Britain, the U.S. and Russia have been and still are in THEIR country! With considerations to the U.S. , Israel´s, the regime in Iran, Britain's and Turkey´s cooperation's against the Kurds, and the Turkish army´s methods against the Kurdish people and have been participating in Afghanistan all the time all the way to Swat, and Pakistan´s cooperation's together with the Iranian regime in crimes in Baluchistan etc...etc..while Russia sits silent pretending they have nothing to do with anything, one can question how many "Talibans" there actually are left in Afghanistan!
