Actually, some have made some GRAVE miscalculations!

Among those is standing and smiling when old Kurdish men are crying and being to busy killing Palestinians instead of taking in some Palestinians being killed at the border to Iraq!

That would be after Berzhinski's -National Security adviser to Jimmy Carter at the time, doctrine of a "green belt" and endorsed Bush for president, breaking with the Democratic party.

And after a initiated 1979 campaign supporting mujaheddin in Pakistan and Afghanistan, which were run by Pakistani security services with financial support from the CIA and Britain's MI6. Part of the CIA program was led by their elite Special Activities Division and included the arming, training and leading of Afghanistan's mujahideen. With a policy that had the explicit aim of promoting radical Islamist to overthrow the secular communist People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan government in Afghanistan.

And during the Persian-Iraq slaughter, in 1985, under the Reagan administration, Brzezinski served as a member of the President's Chemical Warfare Commission. From 1987 to 1988, he worked on the NSC-Defense Department Commission on Integrated Long-Term Strategy. From 1987 to 1989 he also served on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board. That would be under the continuing of slaughter in Iran and of Kurds in Iraq and Turkey.

That would be under the pretext of "the communist threat". After psychopaths burned down Cinema Rex in Iran. And after Hitler burnt down buildings screaming the communists were attacking, that would be after some screamed Ataturk's house was attacked!

After have forced Kurds and Palestinians out of their native lands

Following the 1991 Gulf War, Palestinians in Kuwait were reduced from a thriving immigrant community of more than 400,000 to less than 30,000 in 1998. Kuwaitis forced them out of the country using a systematic and violent campaign of ethnic cleansing. The Palestinian official support for Iraq during the crisis was used as an excuse for that campaign.

The terror campaign after the war started as early as the arrival of the Kuwaiti forces on February 26, 1991. Kuwaiti militants were quoted saying that they would shoot suspected Palestinians when they found them in their apartments. Four main militia groups and two state institutions participated in a concerted effort to terrorize and persecute Palestinians in Kuwait. Two of the militias were headed by the state security officers Adel Al-Gallaf and Hussain Al-Dishti. The third was headed by Amin Al-Hindi, a gangster who specialized in rape, torture, stealing, and killing. The fourth was the group known as August 2nd, which specialized in psychological warfare against Palestinians. The army and the police forces represented the two state institutions that were involved in this terror campaign

Despite the military censorship, newspapers began to report a dramatic rise in the number of injured Palestinians in Mubarak Hospital. Scores of people were treated from severe beating and torture. Six Palestinians were brought to the Hospital shot dead in the head, execution style. By the third week of March, hundreds of people were treated from torture injuries and thousands stayed in detention centers for interrogation. Amnesty International reported that the torture of Palestinians was continuing in Kuwait by the third week of April. A 24-year-old Palestinian had been beaten for hours, had acid thrown over him, and had been subjected to electric shock torture

So after 60 years of killings and massacres in the "strategic allieship" of instigated genocidal war-fares and exterminations, with the most wanton destruction all over the region, in cooperation with Turkey, Syria and the Iranian regime with a Iraqi Holocaust in the middle and the U.S.-Jewish Treasury department where the victims are labeled terrorists, it´s really about time to start call things for what the REALLY are!

"Escalating Turkish-Kurdish Hostilities Threaten U.S. Policy in Iraq"

Yeah...That would be under the supervision of the U.S.- Jewish Treasury department, lobbyists, "various Israeli leaders", Joseph Ralston as director on the board of Lockheed Martin, Richard Holbrooke and his global East Timor, with the U.S. intelligence and U.S. and Israeli weaponry!

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The United States of America will not involve itself in forming a national salvation government in Iraq, said Izat al-Shabandar, a leading figure of the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance. The U.S. is currently concentrating on withdrawing from Iraq in the best way,” al-Shabandar told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Saturday. He noted that the U.S. can be more active by pressing on Iraqi political blocs rather than forming a national rescue government.

Actually, more than half of The United States of America´s administration is Jewish, just as it´s Treasury department, foreign policy posts, Joseph Ralston as director on the board of Lockheed Martin, Richard Holbrooke, The Bilderberg Group, U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, the World bank and everywhere else!

Meanwhile, the U.S. constitution is tampered with and Obama wants to put Kagan as judge, while FBI is out looking for anti-war demonstrators and CIA on payroll by Lockheed Martin has a "#¤¤ blowlamp in their a**, while Kurds are jailed for promoting peace in Turkey, killed all over the region and persecuted from Europe to #¤¤ Japan!

The Israeli state´s "state of war"..JUST as the Turkish "state of war"..

Ma'an - Soldiers watched as a settler harassed a Palestinian man near the illegal Kiryat Arba settlement on Friday afternoon, Hebron’s Youth Against Settlements group reported. When the man became angry and yelled back at the group, he was assaulted and sustained severe bruises, the report said. The youth group said the man targeted in the assault was Anan Ja’bari, who lives adjacent to the settlement in the Old City of Hebron.

Stepped-up hostilities between Turkish forces and Kurdish guerrillas in southeastern Turkey and predominantly Kurdish northern Iraq coupled with a high-powered Iraqi Kurdish campaign to achieve greater autonomy are complicating U.S. efforts to ensure that Iraq remains united once American troops leave the country.

"The U.S. had hoped that closer Turkish-Iraqi Kurdish cooperation and Ankara's conciliatory moves toward Turkey's estimated 15 million Kurds -- who account for approximately 20 percent of Turkey's population -- would end a decades-old Kurdish insurgency in Turkey. Instead, Turkish warplanes are targeting PKK bases in northern Iraq with increased regularity, and the Turkish military is re-establishing checkpoints in predominantly Kurdish southeastern Turkey. The U.S., which has designated the PKK a terrorist organization, is assisting Turkey by providing intelligence to its military and granting Turkish fighter jets greater access to northern Iraqi air space."

James M. Dorsey, a former Wall Street Journal foreign correspondent,

These "states of war" are actually both instigated and maintained for decades and serves as ongoing exterminations and genocide, covered up with a psychopathic main stream media!

The Israeli state uses "military zones" as pretext for extermination, only the Israeli state is not in a state of war!

Ma'an – Israeli forces turned away Palestinian medical teams at a checkpoint erected at Iraq Burin on Saturday morning, telling international medical volunteers that the area was a "closed military zone."

Head of the Palestinian Medical Relief Society in Nablus Ghassan Hamdan said the volunteers tried to enter the Nablus-area village where the society had prepared to offer a free treatment day at a local clinic.

Hamdan said the team was told by Israeli soldiers at the village entrance that they must turn back because the village was a closed zone. He said that medics and society officials had made several attempts to explain the humanitarian nature of the mission, but soldiers responded saying their orders were to restrict all entry into the area.

An Israeli military spokeswoman confirmed that the area was declared a "closed military zone for all non-Palestinians," but said that an exception was made for the doctors at 11a.m., hours after the group arrived at the checkpoint.

Officials from the society confirmed that the Palestinian and international medical workers were permitted into the area, and condemned the delay, saying it would cause a serious reduction in available medical services for villagers.

The society regularly organizes volunteer programs for doctors, nurses and medics from around the word who donate their time and perform free checkups and treatment to Palestinians without regular access to medical services.

The declaration follows one week after the detention of two young men at a checkpoint installed in the same location the previous Saturday.

Iraq Burin, cut off from Nablus by several checkpoints and roadblocks preventing access to the nearby settlement of Yizhar and Bracha, has held regular protests against continued land confiscations by the settlements and settler-only roads. The two detained were accused of having participated in protests in previous weeks.

According to a report by the Israeli human rights group B'Tselem, a new Israeli military order passed in January 2010 made gatherings of more than ten people illegal, by reenacting a 1967 law. The group said the law violated the right of assembly for Palestinians, guaranteed by the fouth Geneva Convention.

The Israeli state keeps bombing and killing Palestinians, that would be simultaneously with the Turkish state and the Iranian regime killing Kurds

31/07/2010 Ma’an – An Al-Qassam Brigades fighter was killed and ten other Gaza residents were injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes that hit targets across the Strip on Saturday morning. The Hamas-affiliated military group announced that one of its field leaders, 41-year-old Issa Abdul-Hadi Al-Batran, was killed by one of the strikes near the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Eight others were injured in a second strike targeting the Ansar Security Compound, formerly the presidential compound in Gaza City, which caused massive damages to the buildings and nearby homes, officials said. The compound was evacuated in two stages, with the majority of personnel taken out in early evening, and a second cohort of 150 moved from the area only 30 minutes before the early morning strike. A skeleton staff had remained in the post.

The injured were treated in the Ash-Shifa Hospital, with director of ambulance and emergency service in Gaza Muawiya Hassanein identifying all as government-employed security officers. The eight sustained moderate to critical wounds and have not been named.

A strike on the Al-Muntada area, where the Ansar compound is located, also hospitalized a young girl and an elderly man, both were evacuated to the Ash-Shifa Hospital where medics said they were being treated for moderate wounds.

A statement from International Solidarity Movement workers in Gaza said "those first at the scene described building debris scattered everywhere and burned out cars still parked on the street."

Witnesses said the incident brought back raw memories of the strikes that kicked off Israel's war on Gaza, which targeted a police graduation ceremony at the primary security headquarters in Gaza City. The first strikes totaled the government buildings, and killed more than 200 young Gaza man who were graduating from the police academy.

Air strikes, artillery fire hits north, south Gaza. Israeli fighter jets also targeted an open area in Deir Al-Balah and several smuggling tunnels in Rafah, in the central and southern areas of the Strip. No injuries were reported from the strikes. Witnesses said sites were targeted by both air and artillery fire, saying tanks were used in the northern district.

No militant group in Gaza has claimed to be behind the firing, though the military statement said the "IDF holds Hamas solely responsible for terror emanating from the Gaza Strip." Israel's daily news site Ynet quoted a military official as saying he did not believe Hamas was behind the launch of a Grad rocket reportedly fired from Gaza on Friday. "Hamas still wants to maintain the status quo in the Strip," he told the news site.

The Israeli state keeps bombing and killing Palestinians, that would be simultaneously with the Turkish state and the Iranian regime having a ongoing extermination of Kurds and Persians..Like... for 60 years or more..

So...After 60 years or more Israelis can claim there are no Palestinians, just Arabs..Like...There are no Persians, just Iranians..Or like there are no Kurds, just a tribe doing business with..And...The Iraqi Launchpad is empty and poisoned..

Only...If cities in Iraq are poisoned by depleted uranium this whole ¤%¤¤ region is radiated!

So..If some are speaking about some #¤%¤¤ tomb somewhere with some old relics of people that have been dead for over thousands of years it´s ¤%¤¤ radioactive!

In fact...Why do not some idiots go with "the gray ones" and become food!

Mossad within U.S. prisons in Iraq

Further evidence of the presence of Israeli operatives in Iraq arose this weekend when the general formerly in charge of the U.S.-run Iraqi prison system, herself considered partly responsible for torture at Abu Ghraib and other prisons under her command, told the BBC that she met an Israeli interrogator working in a U.S.-run "intelligence center" in Baghdad.

Karpinski is the highest-ranking official to confirm an Israeli presence in Iraq. As the head of the 800th Military Police Brigade, Karpinski was responsible for all of Iraq's 17 U.S.-run prison facilities. She was suspended in May for her role in the systemic torture carried out by personnel under her command in Abu Ghraib and elsewhere in Iraq.

Disclosures suggesting Israeli involvement in the ongoing occupation of Iraq. A mounting body of evidence indicates that the presence of Israeli operatives working in Iraq is not at all unusual.

New Yorker journalist Seymour Hersh told the BBC that his understanding that one of the Israeli aims was to gain access to detained members of the secret Iraqi intelligence unit who specialized in Israeli affairs, the BBC reports on its website.

In an article Hersh quoted a senior CIA official and Israeli intelligence officer describing how agents of Israeli's Mossad intelligence service were active in Iraq. Hersh found this information to be "widely known" in the U.S. intelligence community.

A top US military official quoted in the Washington Post on Sunday denied claims of Israeli presence in Iraq, calling the story an "urban legend." Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom similarly dismissed Gen. Karpinski's claims as "completely baseless," telling Israel's Army Radio: "We are not involved in any way in Iraq. We are not involved in training or in interrogations, or in anything else. The whole claim is preposterous."

The Foreign Minister's assertion is contradicted by significant documentation of Israeli-American "strategic cooperation" with regard to intelligence sharing and training in Iraq.

A article in the Guardian described how Israeli advisers are involved in training U.S. special operations troops in counter-insurgency tactics to be used in Iraq. The operations being trained are said to include the use of assassination against resistance leaders. Quoting US intelligence and military sources, Guardian writer Julian Borger reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) sent urban warfare specialists to Fort Bragg in North Carolina, the home of U.S. Army Special Forces.

On that same day, the Associated Press ran a story under the headline "U.S. employs Israeli tactics in Iraq," in which American and Israeli officials publicly noted "high-level meetings" and "strategic cooperation" between the two countries on the subject of operations in Iraq.

In a July letter in Army Magazine, Brigadier General Michael Vaneter, the deputy chief of staff at the Army's Training and Doctrine Command, acknowledged that he had "recently traveled to Israel to glean lessons learned from their counter-terrorist operations in urban areas."

In relation to the presence of Israeli interrogators and contractors working within U.S. prisons in Iraq, the torture report by General Antonio Taguba refers to "third country nationals" involved in the mistreatment of prisoners in Iraq. A company at the center of the scandal, CACI International, has extensive links to the IDF and Israeli military intelligence.

FBI and CIA plain ¤%¤¤ stupid or just wants their own Stasi?

A Police State You'd Better Believe In

29 July 2010, When our nation is waging "war on" so many things (drugs, crime, poverty, terrorism), it's hard to know where to enlist and when to defect. Or put another way, when should a patriot oppose his government? One answer, which we may hope is obvious, is when his government is waging war on liberty. The trick, of course, is to recognize it as such, since the government will always claim to be defending liberty when waging war against it.

Thus it is that in the "war on terrorism" our government is building, brick by brick, a new police state, called "Security." Consider, for example, this item from The Washington Post: The Obama administration is seeking to make it easier for the FBI to compel companies to turn over records of an individual's Internet activity without a court order if agents deem the information relevant to a terrorism or intelligence investigation.

The administration wants to add just four words — 'electronic communication transactional records' — to a list of items that the law says the FBI may demand without a judge's approval. Government lawyers say this category of information includes the addresses to which an Internet user sends e-mail; the times and dates e-mail was sent and received; and possibly a user's browser history. It does not include, the lawyers hasten to point out, the 'content' of e-mail or other Internet communication.

But what officials portray as a technical clarification designed to remedy a legal ambiguity strikes industry lawyers and privacy advocates as an expansion of the power the government wields through so-called national security letters. These missives, which can be issued by an FBI field office on its own authority, require the recipient to provide the requested information and to keep the request secret. They are the mechanism the government would use to obtain the electronic records. We should not let a smooth talking political leader like our current President talk us out of the civil liberties he seemed zealous to protect.

There now. Don't you feel safer and more secure already? Or do you have that creepy feeling that somebody is looking over your shoulder? Friends of freedom, from the Founding Fathers, who put their lives on the line for it, to President Eisenhower, who commanded great armies in its defense, have always known that the requirements of safety and security must always be balanced against those of liberty and justice. Otherwise, the government could simply put us all in prison, where we would enjoy security and three square meals a day and the products of our labors would be much less expensive. Think how it would increase our exports and improved our balance of trade.

Writing in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Jay Bookman observed: "If the federal government has a good reason to need such information, it can explain those reasons to a judge. 'National security letters' are already widely overused as a means of acquiring personal information without a judicial order. As the Post story points out, 'The Justice Department issued 192,500 national security letters from 2003 to 2006, according to a 2008 inspector general report, which did not indicate how many were demands for Internet records. A 2007 IG report found numerous possible violations of FBI regulations, including the issuance of NSLs without having an approved investigation to justify the request.'

"The type of authority sought by the Obama administration would allow it to conduct warrantless searches that are forbidden under the Fourth Amendment, and our Founding Fathers would clearly recognize it as an unacceptable encroachment of government power on the individual," Bookman wrote. "That is, once you explained to them about what a browser is, and what emails are."

Bookman has cleverly made a point. Technological innovations, unknown and probably unimagined by the Founders, have made many of the tools of the 18th Century obsolete. The principles they set forth with pen on parchment are not, however. And they will not become obsolete unless an apathetic citizenry, lulled into a false sense of security, continues to allow an overbearing government to erase our liberties, bit by bit, until one day we wonder where they have gone.

In the meantime, we should not let a smooth talking political leader like our current President talk us out of the civil liberties he seemed zealous to protect when the perpetrators of the coming police state were Republicans in the White House and the cabinet. We had a changing of the guard on January 20, 2009, but the goals of our national jailers remain the same. The bars and the barbed wire are still being put in place, but the names and the faces of the wardens have changed. That's the only real "change" we have gotten from the Obama administration. The rest is merely verbal sleight of hand and rhetorical windsong. It is "change" they can deceive with.

EU MP’s: Turkey should not miss the opportunity

30 July 2010, Turkish government should not let any opportunity pass to engage a dialogue with all representatives of the Kurdish movement so that an urgently needed way back to peace can be found together in Turkey” said members of the EU parliament who wanted the Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan to start a dialog with the Kurdish elected politicians.

In a letter sent to the Turkish PM the MP’s reminded the increasing violence in Turkey and torture and extrajudicial killing conducted by the Turkish security forces. The parliamentarians also urged the Turkish government to comply with the peace calls from the civil initiatives in Turkey and declare a ceasefire which will eventually create the necessary atmosphere for negotiating the Kurdish conflict.

In the letter which reminded the allegations that Turkish state has used napalm bombs in South Kurdistan it is also wanted that Geneva Convention is respected.

Regarding the Erdogan’s rigid attitude against the Kurdish BDP, EU parliamentarians said: “The government is depriving itself of the only possible partner who can help stopping the hostilities. By arresting the parliamentarian representatives of the Kurds the government furthermore is depriving the Kurdish movement of a group ready to make compromises”

The MP’s signed the letter as follows:
Jürgen Klute, Member of European Parliament (Germany), Frieda Brepoels, Member of European Parliament (Belgium), Bairbre de Brún, Member of European Parliament (United Kingdom), Dennis de Jong, Member of European Parliament (Netherlands), Nicole Kiil-Nielsen, Member of European Parliament (France), Sarah Ludford, Member of European Parliament (United Kingdom), Søren Bo Søndergaard, Member of European Parliament (Denmark), Bart Staes, Member of European Parliament (Belgium), Marie-Christine Vergiat, Member of European Parliament (France).

Abraham, Abrāhām , A-braham, Brahman, Sanskrit - Bráhman, Ham - Son of Noah

Old Persian - Brahman means priests. The languages of the sacred hymns of the Brahmans and of those of the Parsis are only the two dialects of the separate tribes of one and the same nation.

Ham - Son of Noah.. Ham in the Bible.

Tamil Nadu, the homeland of Tamils can be dated back to 300, 000 years ago where original inhabitants of India - the Dravidians - resided who were supposed to be the part of the early Indus Valley settlers and moved to southern part of Indian subcontinent during 1500 BC when the Aryans occupied the Northern part of India. There are many that doubt that there was ever any Aryan invasion in India. http://adaniel.tripod.com/aryans.htm

The creative principle of the universe is called Brahma in Sanskrit.

In the Hindu religion, Brahman (Devanāgarī: ब्रह्मन् bráhman) is the eternal, unchanging, infinite, immanent, and transcendent reality which is the Divine Ground of all matter, energy, time, space, being, and everything beyond in this Universe. The nature of Brahman is described as transpersonal, personal and impersonal by different philosophical schools. In the Rig Veda, Brahman gives rise to the primordial being Hiranyagarbha that is equated with the creator god Brahmā. The trimurti can thus be considered a personification of Brahman as the active principle behind the phenomena of the universe.

The word "Brahman" is traditionally derived from the verb ((brh)) (Sanskrit: to grow), and connotes greatness and infinity. The Mundaka Upanishad says: Om- That supreme Brahman is infinite, and this conditioned Brahman is infinite. The infinite proceeds from infinite. Then through knowledge, realizing the infinitude of the infinite, it remains as infinite alone.

Sanskrit bráhman (an n-stem, nominative bráhmā) is from a root bṛh " to swell, grow, enlarge". brahmán is a masculine derivation of bráhman, denoting a person associated with bráhman. The further origin of bṛh is unclear. According to the Indogermanisches etymologisches Wörterbuch (IEW, "Indo-European Etymological Dictionary") written by the Austrian-German comparative linguist and Celtic languages expert Julius Pokorny IE root bhreu-, bhreu-d- denotes to swell, sprout (cf Slovenian brsteti - to sprout.) 'It could be from PIE *bherg'h- "to rise, high, eminent", cognate to Old Norse Bragi.

Some, including Georges Dumézil, have said that the Latin word flāmen "priest" may also be cognate. However, the standard Indo-Aryan etymological dictionary by M. Mayrhofer (1986–2000, vol. II, p. 236-8) derives brahman 'formulation (of truth) [in poetry], from Indo-Iranian *bhrajh-man - Indo-European *bhreg'h-men; cf. Old Persian brazman, Middle Persian brahm 'form', Nuristani (Ashkun) blamade 'a god' ( from *brahma-deva?), Old Norse bragr 'poetical art', etc., and argues against connection with Latin flamen.

Beginning with the late Vedic Upanishads, Brahman is the Absolute Reality or universal substrate (not to be confused with the Creator god Lord Brahmā) in Hinduism. It is said to be eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and ultimately indescribable in human language.

The sages of the Upanishads proclaim Brahman to be the reality behind everything in this universe. Later, Brahman was described as infinite Being, infinite Consciousness, and infinite Bliss (saccidananda). Brahman is regarded as the source and essence of the material universe.

The Rig Veda says that by desire (RV 10.12.94), the initial manifestation of the material universe came into being from Hiranyagarbha (literally "golden womb"), out of which the world, organisms and divine beings (devas) arose: "Great indeed are the devas who have sprung out of Brahman." — Atharva Veda

Para Brahman corresponds to the concept of Godhead and Saguna brahman to God as the Primordial Being.

It is said that Brahman cannot be known by material means, that we cannot be made conscious of it, because Brahman is our very consciousness and being. Brahman is also not restricted to the usual dimensional perspectives of being, and thus enlightenment, moksha, yoga, samādhi, nirvana, etc. do not merely mean to know Brahman, but to realise one's "brahman-hood", to actually realise that one is and always was Brahman. Indeed, closely related to the Self concept of Brahman is the idea that it is synonymous with jiva-atma, or individual souls, our atman (or soul) being readily identifiable with the greater soul (paramatma) of Brahman.

The creative principle of the universe is called Brahma in Sanskrit. Brahma, who is depicted as emerging from the navel lotus of Narayana, is a metaphor for all of creation: its laws, its inherent intelligence, and its consciously manifested potencies which operate as sages, saints, rishis, devas, celestials, and divine beings of all kinds of nature, temperament and description.

Narayana is the Sanskrit name given in the Upanishads to that which is the sum and substance of all the manifested and unmanifested realms. Narayana is that which is neither created nor destroyed but transcends the creation, life and destruction of the universe. Brahma creates, operates in the form of this universe for trillions of years, then dissolves back into Narayana. Narayana, however, is neither created nor destroyed. Later, another Brahma appears to begin the process again.

Since the term "Brahma" does not appear in the Vedas, its creation stems from the Sanskrit word "Brih" which means "'to grow" or "to expand." In this way, it became synonymous with Hiranyagharba: The Golden Egg of Creation. Growing from the Navel Lotus of Narayana, Brahma is the name for the principle which creates all of the manifest realms. Since the Vedas proclaim in the Purusha Suktam that "three quarters of this universe are in indestructible realms above," then clearly Brahma, with his finite duration, is connected to the realms of the universe which we inhabit which are subject to creation and dissolution.

Brahma was endowed with his "spouse" (Saraswati) and consciousness at the time of creation. Brahma made certain "beings" solely by the power of his mind and thought. These beings are called the mind-born sons of Brahma. The state of their consciousness is summarized by the title Brahma Rishi: Seer with the Understanding of Brahma. Brahma Rishis, in turn, can confer this state of consciousness upon others who prove themselves capable and worthy. For an example of the conferring of the state of Brahma Rishi upon one being by another, see the Story of Vishwamitra in the Chapter on the Gayatri Mantra.

Mitra, Mithra is related to India..

Mithra or Mitra is also worshipped as Itu (Mitra-Mitu-Itu) in every house of the Hindus in India. Itu (derivative of Mitu or Mitra) is considered as the Vegetation-deity. Mithra or Mitra (Sun-God) is believed to be a Mediator between God and man, between the Sky and the Earth. He travelled far and wide. He has twelve satellites, which are taken as the Sun's disciples.

The origin of the cult of Mithra dates from the time when the Hindus and Persians formed one people, for the god Mithra occurs in the religion and the sacred books of both races, i.e. in the Vedas and in the Avesta. In Vedic hymns he is frequently mentioned and is nearly always coupled with Varuna, but beyond the bare occurrence of his name, little is known of him (Rigveda, III, 59). It is conjectured (Oldenberg, "Die "Religion des Veda," Berlin, 1894) that Mithra was the rising sun, Varuna the setting sun; or, Mithra, the sky at daytime, Varuna, the sky at night; or, the one the sun, the other the moon.

Mithra retained his place as foremost deity in the north-west of the Persian highlands. After the conquest of Babylon this Persian cult came into contact with Chaldean astrology and with the national worship of Marduk. For a time the two priesthoods of Mithra and Marduk (magi and chaldaei respectively) coexisted in the capital and Mithraism borrowed much from this intercourse.

This modified Mithraism traveled farther north-westward and became the State cult of Armenia. Its rulers, anxious to claim descent from the glorious kings of the past, adopted Mithradates as their royal name (so five kings of Georgia, and Eupator of the Bosporus). Mithraism then entered Asia Minor, especially Pontus and Cappadocia.

The worship of the Indo-Persian god Mithras or Mithra dates back centuries or millennia. The god is found as "Mitra" in the Indian Vedic religion, which is over 3,500 years old, by conservative estimates. When the Persians separated from their Indian brethren, Mitra became known as "Mithra" or "Mihr," as he is called in Persian.

Concerning the ancient unity of the Indian and Persian peoples, Dr. Haug states (as related by Prasad): "The relationship of the Avesta language to the most ancient Sanskrit, the so-called Vedic dialect, is as close as that of the different dialects of the Greek language (Aeolic, Ionic, Doric, or Attic) to each other. The languages of the sacred hymns of the Brahmans and of those of the Parsis are only the two dialects of the separate tribes of one and the same nation."

By around 1500 BCE, Mithra worship had made it to the Near East, in the Indian kingdom of the Mitanni, who at that time occupied Assyria. Mithra worship, however, was known also by that time as far west as the Hittite kingdom, only a few hundred miles east of the Mediterranean, as is evidenced by the Hittite-Mitanni tablets found at Bogaz-Ky in what is now Turkey.

As Halliday relates:
The history of Mithraism reaches back into the earliest records of the Indo-European language. Documents which belong to the fourteenth century before Christ have been found in the Hittite capital of Boghaz Keui, in which the names of Mitra, Varuna, Indra, and the Heavenly Twins, the Nasatyas, are recorded.

Further, the forms, in which the names are given, are not Persian; and it almost certainly follows that, at the time when they were written, the Persian and Indian stocks were not yet differentiated.

The Indian Mitra was essentially a sun god, representing the "friendly" aspect of the sun. So too was the Persian derivative Mithra, who was a "benevolent god" and the bestower of health, wealth and food. Mithra also seems to have been looked upon as a sort of Prometheus, for the gift of fire. His worship purified and freed the devotee from sin and disease.

Eventually, Mithra became more militant, and he is best known as a warrior. As the Indian scholar Srivastava says: The militant side of Mithra's personality casually indicated in the Avesta and the Rigveda was fully developed in the later Mithraism. He is the creator of the world and the sovereign over all. He is the officiating priest.

Like so many gods, Mithra was the light and power behind the sun. In Babylon, Mithra was identified with Shamash, the sun god. Christian authority and biblical commentator Matthew Henry (18th century) stated that "Mithra, the sun," was the god of King Shalmaneser V of Assyria, who in the 8th century BCE conquered Samaria and "carried away the Israelites."

Mithra was also the god of Cyrus, conqueror of Babylon, who was considered the Messiah or Christos by Jews during the "Captivity." In fact, Mithra is Bel, the Mesopotamian and Canaanite/ Phoenician sun god, who is likewise Marduk, the Babylonian god who represented both the planet Jupiter and the sun. According to Clement of Alexandria's debate with Appion (Homily VI, ch. X), Mithra is also Apollo.

Mithra's popularity and importance is evident from the prevalence of the name "Mithradates" ("justice of Mithra") among Near Easterners by the seventh century BCE.

As Halliday relates: It is not surprisingto find that Artaxerxes adopted Mithraism as a royal cult. After the downfall of Persia, it remained an important religion in Asia Minor, and the continuous use of the name of the god in the formation of names, like Mithradates, bears testimony to his popularity. The Seleucid successors of Alexander paid worship to the god of light, truth and royalty, whose effulgence was equivalent to the Tuch basilewV, which is but inadequately translated "the Fortune of the King."

This aspect of Mithraism as a royal cult is illustrated by the reliefs from the tomb of King Antiochus [IV] Epiphanes of Commagene, which stood upon a spur of the Taurus overlooking the valley of the Euphrates. Here the king is represented with tiara and sceptre in the act of shaking the right hand of Mithras, whose Persian cap is surrounded by a rayed solar nimbus.

In time, the Persian Mithraism became infused with the more detailed astrotheology of the Babylonians and Chaldeans, and was notable for its astrology and magic; indeed, its priests or magi lent their name to the word "magic." Included in the Mithraic development was the emphasis on his early Indian role as a sun god.

As Legge says: The Vedic Mitra was originally the material sun itself, and the many hundreds of votive inscriptions left by the worshippers of Mithras to "the unconquered Sun Mithras," to the unconquered solar divinity (numen) Mithras, to the unconquered Sun-God (deus) Mithra, and allusions in them to priests (sacerdotes), worshippers (cultores), and temples (templum) of the same deity leave no doubt open that he was in Roman times a sun-god.

By the Roman legionnaires, Mithra was called "the divine Sun, the Unconquered Sun." He was said to be "Mighty in strength, mighty ruler, greatest king of gods! O Sun, lord of heaven and earth, God of Gods!" Mithra was also deemed "the mediator" between heaven and earth, a role often ascribed to the god of the sun.

Mithridates II the Great was king of Parthian Empire from 123 to 88 BC.

His name invokes the protection of Mithra. He adopted the title Epiphanes, "god manifest" and introduced new designs on his extensive coinage. Parthia reached its greatest extent during his reign.

He saved the kingdom from the Saka tribes, who occupied Bactria and the east of Persia. Mithridates II extended the limits of the empire, according to the 3rd century Roman historian Junianus Justinus who tends to confuse him with Mithridates III, under whom Parthia received severe setbacks.

He defeated King Artavasdes I of Armenia and conquered seventy valleys, making the heir to the Armenian throne, prince Tigranes, a political hostage. In 123 BC and 115 BC he received Chinese ambassadors sent by the Han emperor Wu Di to reopen the Silk Road through negotiations. He also interfered in the wars of the dynasts of Syria. He was the first Parthian king who entered into negotiations with Rome, then represented by Lucius Cornelius Sulla, praetor of Cilicia in 92 BC.

If Abraham was an Airyanem by origin he was a Persian....Or a Kurd...

Abraham was most likely an Airyanem from Matiene, Mitanni or Hurrian born and raised as a member of the Mitra, Mithra or Zoroastrianism religion from Harran. Most likely he was a revolutionary and started his own religion, trying to reform the old religion of his people. Because of this he was banished by his own people and was forced to move to Canaan where he was able to establish his reformed religion.

The name Abrāhām (A-ḇrā-hā-m) means “he is brother to all” in the language left by Emperor Darius the Great of the Achaemenid Empire. The Emperor Darius called it the “Aryan language.”

He was not an Iranian and Airyanem was not Iranian by origin. Iran is a a multi ethnic country but there is no ethnic group or people called Iranian. If Abraham was an Airyanem by origin and came from Iran, he was a Persian..

Persians are not a homogeneous group. Persians in Iran have different origin. Some are related to the civilization in Mesopotemia. Some Persians are related to local civilizations such as Elam, Kashan, Jiroft etc. Some Persians have Aryan origin such as Parthian, Bactrian, Sogdian and Original Persians in Pars province.

The Persians with Aryan origin share common culture, Persian language, Persian history and civilization and even to some extent ethnicity with each other. And it do looks like it´s the same with the Kurds, that they have so called sub-groups where one can see slight differences, therefore some Kurds can share ethnicity with the Persians.

Actually, it´s VERY #¤%¤¤ obvious..

How some with the most criminal psychopathic mass murderers methods and manipulations maintains the state of tensions and war in this region and beyond to be used as a pretext of wide spread crimes against peace and humanity for ongoing extermination, ethnically cleanings and genocides for nothing but their own selfish interests and benefits!

Actually, it´s getting to the point when people have to act like they did against Hitler!

Under the supervision and aiding of the U.S.-Jewish Treasury Department, the U.S.-Jewish administration, Britain, NATO/Turkey, France etc..

Turkey wants to extend it´s extermination "guarding the camps" in all directions.

Turkey and the Iranian regime have been launching joint attacks on the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and their hideouts located in the mountainous terrains of the federal region of Kurdistan in the north of Iraq, under the supervision of the U.S. and it´s Jewish Treasury department, directors of weapon companies, Britain etc..and with the cooperation of U.S. and Israeli weaponry and intelligence, with the consequence of a destabilized Iraq and millions of death Iraqis. Or more like using and maintaining a destabilization of Iraq and a ongoing Iraqi genocide to be used as a "launch pad" for further crimes against the Kurds and destabilisation of the whole region.

On Monday, Turkey´s organized Nationalists and fascists groups instigated and escalated conflicts into ethnic riots on the streets of Turkey. Kurds have been protesting and demonstrating against these attacks for along time and did so also this time.

The Turkish-language newspaper, SABAH, reported that there had been a strategy discussed by the leaders of Turkish National Security Council that there will be some joint Iran-Turkey assaults, with the help of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), on PKK, after have refused to respond on calls for solutions and jailed any ones promoting and working for stabilisation and solutions, pitting Kurds against Kurds as it has been done for decades in Turkey with CIA´s set up village guards and all over the region.

Major General Ahmad Fazladin, commander of the border guards of the division 1, said that some KRG’s military outposts are to be established nearby the borders of Turkey-Kurdistan region. “These military bases have no relation with Turkey but US helps us to establish them” said major general Fazladin, mentioning that the border soldiers are expected to be trained by Turkey and Spain.

Iran's Shelling Makes Several Hundreds Kurdish Families Homeless.

29/07/2010 ,Iraqi Kurdistan, the Iranian government forces have been shelling the mountainous villages of Kurdistan on the pretext of haunting the militants of the Party of Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK), which are believed to be based somewhere in the mountainous terrains separating Iraq from Iran.

The bombardment has achieved little (if any) notable millitary success against the group fighting the Iranian government for more cultural and political rights for the ethnic Kurds. But it has resulted in the evacuation of dozens of villages and homelessness of several hundreds families.

Human Rights Watch, which has sent its own team to observer the area, said that there were no rebels visible in the villages shelled by the Iranian government.

While the U.S. and the International community have put Iran under sanctions, the Kurds at the Iranian border have no alternative to make a living and are obviously "free targets" by the Internationally community as the Iranian regime´s forces have shot and killed numerous of Kurds and youths at the border, without any reactions what so ever.

Why should mothers, fathers, families send their children to a place where they are subjected to every kind of indignity and insult? Or even killed

Kurdistan Societies Union (KCK) Member of Executive Council Duran Kalkan stated that the number of suspicious deaths of Kurdish soldiers in the Turkish army has been increasing in recent years and he made a call to Kurdish soldiers to desert from Turkish Armed Forces. Kalkan pointed out that the conscientious objection movement should be promoted and asked parents not to send their children to serve in the military.

Kalkan stressed that in Cukurca seven soldiers were killed by land mines that were laid by the Turkish army. The Turkish army was caught red-handed using land mines. To use land mines is an international crime and the Turkish army very frequently commits that crime in Kurdistan.

There was an event which occurred in Karakoçan, targeting Kurdish soldiers: army officers put a hand-grenade, with the pin pulled out, into a soldier’s hand and in the explosion many soldiers were killed. To cover this up they said that it was an accident. However, it came to light that the commander himself had done this. We believe that this type of event was certainly consciously performed.

There are thousands of young people that serve in the military. They are subjected to many kinds of insults during their service. When and if they show a reaction, they are immediately taken away and murdered. After that, they state that those soldiers committed suicide or that an accident happened. Similar situations have been occurring in the Syrian army.

There is a significant increase in such events in recent years. These cannot be a coincidence but rather feed on and increase such actions.. In this regard this shows an increase of fascist nationalism.

So, what should we do about this situation? Do we expect the army to reform itself? Is it possible to demand this in this case? Even if we could insist these changes, would they result in effective action? Of course not. So what should we do? We should not go to the army… I speak openly: why should mothers, fathers, Kurdish families send their children to a place where they are subjected to every kind of indignity and insult?

Actually..It´s genocidal tactics in a wide spread genocidal war-fare in a systematically extermination and genocidal agenda during decades or since #¤¤¤ Ataturk! Done under the U.S.-Jewish Treasury department, weapon companies and British, France and others interests in the region, that is instigated again and again, where the instigators and Turkey refuse to end it and it has been going on for decades in the "E.U./Brittish/U.S.-Jewish -Turkish-Syrian-Iranian-camp"!

It´s THE MOST GROSS CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND PEACE WHERE PEOPLE ARE JAILED SYSTEMATICALLY FOR AS MUCH AS MENTION PEACE!

And it´s NOT some Muhajedeen´s being flown in from Kosovo - It´s the same ethnically group that has been targeted in their own land, in cooperation with criminals and mass murdering psychopaths with racists genocidal agendas, for decades and systematically been committed extermination and genocide on! That´s what this so called "camp" is ALL ABOUT and have been so since the #¤¤¤ 19th century!

It´s planed, calculated and intended, wide spread genocide, and extermination and wanton destruction on the same ethnically groups and people that has been going on ever since Ataturk, the young Turks, the Chester concession and "democracy"! WHO said Hitler died?

Meanwhile, the U.N. body has been undermined the same way as psychopaths did during the East Timor genocide. While the U.N. chief sits nearly squeezed between his homeland "South and North", that has been used in cooperation between Russia and the U.S., while the "camp" claims Turkey is choosing between "East and West" and at the same time is "guarding the camp" in both directions!

Actually, we have no problems what so ever with the point of the compass, some claim to have! We are actually not "playing in the same division as the camp"!

Iran?..No....NATO´s "war on terror"..And Turkey "guarding the camp"..

"Urgent call for protecting human rights defenders in Turkey." http://www.diclehaber.com/2/1002/1/viewNews/210393

Actually it´s exactly the same people being targeted in Syria and Turkey as in Iran..Human rights defenders, journalists, students, minors, politicians, activists, any ones working for peace, even a 61 years old mother for peace, NGO´s, intellectuals, lawyers etc..

It´s kindá striking..How the Kurds have marched, protested, demonstrated and done everything possible to end war-fare and demands end of military bombings and killings, and find ways to find solution.. etc..etc..So where are the Turks? They cannot been seen..Other when it comes to gather them in for the instigated genocidal war-fare and use them as a "public opinion", clubbing Kurds and violate them all over Turkey´s streets, to be sent out in the minefields....Are they more oppressed than the Kurds? Or simply brainwashed, happy to be a Turk throwing themselves out in the minefields? Or is it just Kurds that are sent out to be blown up? Like JITEM instigate it and blow up both environment, houses, cars and people and then Kurds are sent out to be blown up, "committing suicide", shot, killed and disappears all over the region, while the army massacres Kurds and extermination for over 30 years and then JITEM need to "protect the border"..It´s to have "figure it all out"..Isn´t it..

"A happy Turk out in the minefields"..For 30 years..Well..Except for those times they used Kurdish "village guards" set up by CIA, walking in front of them..After have dressed like PKK fighters attacking killing Kurds as a cover to send Kurds before them in the minefields, they have planted themselves, used to blame PKK for it, as another cover to claim justifications to send out Kurds in the minefileds..Yeah..it´s to have "figure it all out"!

"The Kurds tends to be shot rather than taken prisoners"..That would be after have invaded Iraq and supplied people with everything they need to attack and kill Kurds..

EU's Ashton: Gaza 'needs lasting solution'

Ma'an - EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton briefed EU foreign ministers Tuesday on her recent trip to the Mideast, focusing on Gaza, where she spent a day in June. After the briefing, the EU Foreign Affairs Council commented in a statement on an "urgent need for a lasting solution to the situation in Gaza and for the revival of its economy."

One of the recommendations was the "immediate, sustained and unconditional opening of crossings for the flow of humanitarian aid, commercial goods and persons to and from Gaza, and discussed the possible role the EU could play in contributing to improved access."

Ashton also urged the Israeli government to end all settlement activities and appealed to both sides to avoid any provocative actions. She further called for the immediate release of captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

"The situation in Gaza has to change," the London-based newspaper quoted Cameron as saying. "Humanitarian goods and people must flow in both directions. Gaza cannot and must not be allowed to remain a prison camp."

In response to the premier's comments, Ron Prosor, the Israeli ambassador to London, blamed the Palestinians' situation on Hamas, the daily reported. "The people of Gaza are the prisoners of the terrorist organization Hamas. The situation in Gaza is the direct result of Hamas' rule and priorities.

"We know that the prime minister would also share our grave concerns about our own prisoner in the Gaza strip, Gilad Shalit, who has been held hostage there for over four years, without receiving a single Red Cross visit."

Hamas condemns demolition of Bedouin homes

Hamas condemned the demolition of 40 Bedouin homes by Israeli forces hours after the demolitions were reported Tuesday morning, calling for an international stand against a "policy of rights violations."

Hamas spokesman for the northern Gaza Strip Abdul Latif Al-Qanoua said the demolitions, targeting a community near Rahat in southern Israel, 30 kilometers southeast of Gaza City, displaced hundreds. The move, he said, was a "violation of Palestinian human rights and the rights of innocent citizens." He said the event highlighted an Israeli policy of racism and a larger aim to "clear out Palestinian villages and towns," noting the similarity to the Israeli policy of home demolitions in East Jerusalem and areas near settlements in the West Bank.

"The occupation has continued the destruction of Palestinian villages in the Negev for more than 40 years," Al-Qanoua said, and demanded that the international community take a stand against "Israeli arrogance" and what he described as a belief that Israel could act with impunity.

Many of Gaza's almost 1,000,000 refugees have roots in the Negev, as well as seaside towns cleared of their Palestinian populations in 1948 when Israel was declared a state.

Under the pretext of "foreign interference"..U.N.: "next year"..

Actually...

We do not sit here collecting material to a ¤%¤¤ Hollywood movie..The REALITY on the ground is more than enough! Some will not come far with their #¤¤¤ media there!

"Guarding the camp" Part 1

Eastern Kurdistan – According to Shenidar news agency, most forests of Kurdistan are incessantly set on fire by the Iranian Authorities with the pretext of having PJAK’S guerrillas hidden in there. As a result of the firing more than 2500 hectares of Sine’s forests have been destroyed; in addition, the jungles of Meriwan and Kamyaran have also been burned in fire.

Despite the fact that the jungles of the most of Kurdish regions have been burned in fire, the Iranian government has not attempted to extinguish and even did not let civilians to quench the fire.

Accordingly, last week some groups such as green savers, students and social activists had endeavoured to oblige the Iranian regime either to extinguish the fire or let these groups to do it. Nevertheless, the Iranian savage regime neither extinguishes the fire nor let the others o do it.

AHWAZ, Iran, -- According to Harana’s news 3 prisoners were executed by the Iranian Authorities yesterday 27th July 2010 in Karon’s prison. Every year many people from the Iranian diverse nations are hanged by the Iranian regime.

During the last 3 months more than 100 people have been executed and since the beginning of year up till now 146 people have been executed on various different grounds mainly on the ground of “Mohareb”— being the enemy of God.

MEHABAD, Eastern Kurdistan, -- A Kurdish political activist named Rahim Rashi has been in hunger strike since was arbitrarily arrested by Iranian Revolutionary Guards. According to Harana News Agency, Rahim Rashi was captured on 19 July 2010 arbitrarily and since then he is in strike for protesting his detention. He is one of the Kurdish civil activists which had been under the control of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and had been arrested several times.

SALMAS, Eastern Kurdistan, -- The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have arrested 4 Kurds and calumny accused them of murdering Khoy’s Judge. Bashir Chwartaq from a village in the city of Salmas in Eastern Kurdistan, Akhani, Kamil Shahloee and Akbar Shahloee, who are also from Salmas, were arrested 7 month ago charged with working with a Kurdish Political party and of killing Wali Haci Qolizadeh.

Regardless of the hard attempt of the families of these four people for the last 7 months of their arrest, there is not any information either about their place or about their situation. However there is a strong possibility of keeping them under cruel and spiteful torture.

Wali Haci Qolizadeh was the Judge of Khoy, a city in Eastern Kurdistan, who was murdered in front of his house on February 2010. Just after his murdering HRK took responsibility for the killing and announced that they killed Qolizadeh because of his decision for the execution of Fasih Yasemani, Kurdish political activist hanged on 6 January 2010 in Khoy prison.

SAQEZ, Iran, -- The Kurdish political prisoners undergo the worst kind of torture before they are executed. Accordingly, Rashid Akhkandy, the Kurdish political prisoner await execution, is spending a very tough situation and suffers from several illnesses in Saqez prison.

The campaign of supporting the social and political prisoners revealed that there is a strong possibility of murdering Aziz Mohammed Zadeh under torture. Mohammed Zadeh’s family has not seen his son and not heard about him for the last seven months. Aziz Mohammed Zadeh has been transferred from Saqez prison to Sine’s prison and while has been kept in a solitary confinement, underwent the worst type of tortures and then has been transferred to a hidden place. However, there is a strong possibility that he lost his life under torture.

Blatant violation of human rights in Iran

24 July 2010, Iran -- Human Right Organisations have recently announced that the Iranian regime has violated human right since July by the minimum of 2359 just in less than a month.

Each year the Iranian Authorities have violated human rights of various groups such as national, workers, students, religion except Shia’h (a branch or group of Islam and official religion in Iran), prisoners, teachers, women, journalists and children with different excuses.

The report demonstrates that since this month (July) Iranian regime has violated the human rights of more than 182 workers, 324 students, and 121 political and social activists, issuing 29 executions which done by Iranian courts, 44 the worst torturing of prisoners. Furthermore, at least 9 times shooting civil which many times cost the people’s live, 178 times imprisonments and ignorance of minorities, 92 times imprisonments of religious people, 20 executions which one was in public, cutting 6 prisoners’ hands for stealing have been mentioned in the report.

In addition hundreds of people have been arrested and more than 4 Baluch were injured after an explosion which was happened in Zahidan a city in Baluchistan, 32 teachers have fired in Bahashti university of Tehran, 4 were exiled by Iranian authorities and Basij raped a girl in Tabriz.

The human right organisations declared that the report has just illustrated a few parts of the violation of human rights in Iran at this month.

MERIWAN, Eastern Kurdistan, -- The Defence Forces of Eastern Kurdistan (HRK) released a statement in relation to the latest clash between their forces and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. HRK claimed that as a result of the clash a colonel and a soldier killed and 4 more soldiers were injured in the clash between HRK and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. In the clash which happened on 24th July 2010 one Kurdish guerrilla has lost his life.

Accordingly Iranian regime has been trying to eradicate the Kurds and their political parties mainly PJAK by imposing fatal war, hanging people and burning the jungles of their land.

The Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK) was founded in 2004 as the result of the systematic and continuous oppression of the Kurdish nation by the Iranian government. PJAK upholds the libertarian ideology of Apoism which advocates an ecological-democratic society with gender equality. PJAK’s main goal is to create a democratic con-federation for the long- oppressed Kurds.

Due to the failure of Turkish security forces to protect the Kurds against the fascists attacks the Kurds had to defend themselves as they have done in the past. However, the police used tear gas against the clashing groups and some have been injured.

Nizamettin Toguc, a Kurdish representative in Europe and the former member of Turkey’s parliament was arrested last week by the Italian police

ITALY: Nizamettin Toguc, a Kurdish representative in Europe and the former member of Turkey’s parliament was on holiday with his family when he was arrested last week by the Italian police acting on a request by Turkey. He remains in detention while the Court of Appeal in Venice decides whether to release him pending extradition hearings. His lawyers have condemned the accusations against Mr Toguç as political in nature, adding that Turkey has yet to produce the complete dossier on which it is formulating its accusation.

Mr Toguç is a senior member of the Brussels-based Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) and the president of KON-Kurd, the union of Kurdish organisations in Europe. He has been a tireless spokesperson for Kurdish rights since his exile from Turkey. Mr Toguç served in the Turkish parliament as a member of the pro-Kurdish Democracy Party (DEP), the third in a long line of pro-Kurdish political parties that were banned by the Turkish state since 1990.

As part of a delegation to the Kurdish city of Batman in September 1993 to investigate numerous disappearances and political murders of Kurds by the so-called “unknown perpetrators” he was shot and injured. Two parliamentary colleagues were murdered in the attack, which has been blamed on state-sponsored terror groups.

The following year, and within a year of the party’s foundation, the DEP was dissolved by a decision of the Constitutional Court in Turkey. Five of Mr Toguç’s colleagues, including Leyla Zana, had already been taken into custody. On the day of the Court’s decision in June 1994 Mr Toguç and a number of other Kurdish parliamentarians fled to Brussels. The European Court of Human Rights later ruled that Turkey violated the right to free elections the case of Nizamettin Toguç and his colleagues. http://cmiskp.echr.coe.int/tkp197/view.asp?item=1&porta...oc-en

The timing of this arrest indicates a continuation of operations against Kurdish organisations and individuals in Europe that have been intensified at Turkey’s request in recent times. It follows the harassment and detention of numerous Kurdish community activists in Italy, France and Germany earlier this year, the detention of another senior KNK member and former Kurdish parliamentarian Mr Remzi Kartel in Spain last year and intense attacks by Belgian police against Kurdish satellite station ROJ TV in March.

No matter what happens to the Kurds or how many Kurdish representatives are arrested in and outside Turkey. The Kurdish people have seen countless numbers of bitters days throughout history but they have never submitted to tyrannical rules of the occupying powers of Kurdistan and they will continue to struggle for rights in the region.

The Constitutional Court in Turkey dissolved the pro-Kurdish DTP (Peace and Democracy Party) in December 2009 but another Kurdish party BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) was founded following the disclosures of DTP. More than 1500 Kurdish politicians and diplomats are held in Turkish prisons but the Kurds carry on their struggle better than ever. Therefore the arrest of Mr. Tuguc in Italy would not stop the Kurds from making their way toward the achievement of the rights and the Italian government should not align itself with the anti-Kurdish policies of Turkish regime and free Mr Tuguc as soon as possible.

"Guarding the camp" Part III

Jul 26-27, 2010, UK Prime Minister Cameron in Turkey. British Prime Minister David Cameron visited Turkey on Tuesday, saying the world needs Turkey's help in pushing Iran to address concerns about its nuclear program and harshly criticizing Israel's raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla that killed nine Turkish activists.

Cameron, addressing Turkish businessmen, also declared that Britain was a staunch backer of Turkey's troubled bid to join the European Union. The visit _ coming early in his term _ was a measure of Britain's acknowledgment of Turkey as a critical ally in a conflict-prone region. "The Israeli attack on the Gaza flotilla was completely unacceptable," Cameron said. In a reference to the Israeli blockade of the Palestinian territory, he said: "Gaza cannot and must not be allowed to remain a prison camp."

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said all people in Gaza "are living under constant attacks and pressure in an open air prison."

Erdogan, meanwhile, defended his country's position in supporting Iran's right to acquire peaceful nuclear energy, criticizing world powers for turning a blind eye to Israel's widely accepted nuclear program. "We need Turkey's help in making it clear to Iran just how serious we are about engaging fully with the international community,"

Cameron said.
Erdogan responded during a joint news conference with Cameron: "We are definitely against nuclear weapons in our region and we routinely say this to Iran." Under a proposed deal in May with Brazil and Turkey, Iran agreed to ship 1,200 kilograms (2,640 pounds) of low-enriched uranium to Turkey, where it would be stored. In exchange, Iran would get fuel rods made from 20 percent enriched uranium. That level of enrichment is high enough for use in research reactors but too low for nuclear weapons. But, since the plan didn't mandate a halt on Iran's enrichment process, it fell short of U.N. demands.

Cameron said Britain strongly supported Turkey's membership bid in the European Union, despite concerns that it was turning away from some Western policies. Turkey faces opposition to its full membership in the EU, mainly from France and Germany.
"When I think about what Turkey has done to defend Europe as a NATO ally and what Turkey is doing today in Afghanistan alongside our European allies, it makes me angry that your progress toward EU membership can be frustrated in the way it has been," Cameron said. "It is wrong to say Turkey can guard the camp but not be allowed to sit inside the tent."

Sezer/Reuters - David Cameron today challenges France and Germany over their opposition to Turkish membership of the EU when he issues a stark warning of the dangers of shutting Ankara "out of the club". In a passionate defence of Turkey, whose EU ambitions have long been championed by Britain, the prime minister will accuse Paris and Berlin of double standards for expecting Ankara to guard Europe's borders as a Nato member while closing the door to EU membership.
"When I think about what Turkey has done to defend Europe as a Nato ally, and what Turkey is doing today in Afghanistan alongside our European allies, it makes me angry that your progress towards EU membership can be frustrated in the way it has been," the prime minister will say in a speech in the Turkish capital. "I believe it's just wrong to say Turkey can guard the camp but not be allowed to sit inside the tent."

The prime minister's speech comes at the start of a four-day visit to Turkey and India which he kicked off last night with dinner in Ankara with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister. Cameron will this morning lay a wreath at Anitkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the father of modern secular Turkey. In the afternoon he will fly to India for a three-day visit.
Cameron's tough language in his speech today reflects Britain's frustration that Ankara's EU membership negotiations have stalled ever since they were formally opened in 2005.

Turkey's involvement in the Cyprus dispute and its refusal to open its ports to Greek Cypriot goods are holding up the talks. In March Erdogan accused Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, of "hatred" towards Turkey. Merkel has called for Turkey to be given a "privileged partnership" with the EU. Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, strongly opposes Turkish membership of the EU.
Cameron today reserves special scorn for France as he will remind his audience that Britain knows what it is like to be blocked by Paris.

He cites General Charles de Gaulle's famous "non" in 1963 and 1967 to British membership of the then-Common Market. The prime minister will say: "Do you know who said: 'Here is a country which is not European. Its history, its geography, its economy, its agriculture and the character of its people - admirable people though they are - all point in a different direction.

This is a country which cannot, despite what it claims and perhaps even believes, be a full member'."
Cameron will add: "It might sound like some Europeans describing Turkey. But it was actually General de Gaulle describing the UK before vetoing our EU accession. We know what it's like to be shut out of the club. But we also know that these things can change." The de Gaulle quotes were echoed by a later French president who summed up the French hostility to Turkey. Valéry Giscard d'Estaing famously said of Turkey that it was too poor, too big and too different.

The prime minister will confront this view when he criticises some Europeans who wrongly see the world "through the prism of a clash of civilisations". He will add: "Turkey can be a great unifier. Because instead of choosing between East and West, Turkey has chosen both. And it's this opportunity to unite East and West that gives Turkey such an important role with countries in the region in helping to deliver improved security for us all."
Cameron's speech comes amid fears in Britain that French and German opposition to Turkey's EU membership is leading Ankara to abandon Europe and look to the east.

Britain fears that the recent breach in relations between Ankara and Tel Aviv, after nine pro-Palestinians were killed by Israeli commandos in a raid on the Free Gaza flotilla in May, might have been easier to manage if Turkey felt it had a future in the west. The prime minister will say that Turkey must be made to feel welcome in Europe because it is a secular and democratic state. But he will reach out to Turkey's Muslim majority by saying how important Islam is to Europe."I will always argue that the values of real Islam are not incompatible with the values of Europe. That Europe is defined not by religion, but by values." But the prime minister will say that Turkey must press ahead with domestic reforms to allow its EU membership to proceed.

Turkey has introduced tentative reforms to bring it into line with the liberal traditions of the EU.
"I'm not asking you to be a different country, to abandon your values, your traditions or your culture," the prime minister will say. "We want you to be Turkey – because it's as Turkey that you can play the unique role I have described in building greater security and greater prosperity for all our citizens. But we want you to push forwards aggressively with the EU reforms you're making."

July 27, 2010, David Cameron has declared himself the "strongest possible advocate" of Turkey's ambition to join the European Union. The Prime Minister, who is visiting the country, hailed it as central to unifying East and West and reducing international security fears.

Speaking in the capital, Ankara, Mr Cameron said Turkey's unique position should see it play a key role in shaping the future of Afghanistan and helping broker peace in the Middle East. And he called on the country to use its relationship with Iran to raise international concerns over its nuclear ambitions.

David Cameron wants to send out the message that Britain is open for business and looking for new friends and partners. Mr Cameron will later cement his commitment by signing a "strategic partnership" with Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The agreement deepens trade, defence and cultural ties between the countries.

Mr Cameron's support for Turkey's EU bid defies many voices within his own party, as well as French president Nicolas Sarkozy and German chancellor Angela Merkel, all of whom oppose its claims to full membership. But the Prime Minister pointed to its support for the Nato military alliance as proof "Turkey deserves its place at the top table of European politics".
"I believe it's just wrong to say Turkey can guard the camp but not be allowed to sit inside the tent," he said. "Together, I want us to pave the road from Ankara to Brussels."

Mr Cameron's trip is only his fifth overseas bilateral visit since taking office, underlining the importance the Government attaches to Turkey. The country is the world's 16th largest economy and is expected to be the third fastest-growing, after China and India, by 2017.
The Prime Minister will later head to the sub-continent in a bid to build a "special relationship" with the Indian government. He will be joined by several other ministers, including Foreign Secretary William Hague and Chancellor George Osborne, for what is billed as a major trade and investment drive.
