In fact..It sure ain´t PKK that is cultivating the poppy fields that the U.S. soldiers are guarding..

At the same time there is a growing number of American school kids using heroine..There is a a growing number of tuberculosis and Aids infections among Iranian prisoners as well as drug smuggling in the regime’s prisons, there are actually people that have claimed that there are guards that takes in drugs to get people addicted and actually have been claims of deliberately infecting prisoners with HIV.

And after have jailed Doctor Arash Alaei and Doctor Kamiar Alaei which have played a role in putting the issues of drug use and HIV/AIDS on Iran’s national health care agenda, education campaigns on HIV transmission, including those targeting youth, and for HIV and harm reduction programs in prisons. And played a part in the creation of Iran’s HIV/AIDS prison program, we could actually claim this
growing number of Aids infections among Iranian prisoners is deliberately caused as another way of "cleansing".

It´s #¤¤¤ time time to wake ¤%¤¤ up!

Doctor Arash Alaei and Doctor Kamiar Alaei have worked for Iran’s HIV/AIDS prison program

Doctor Arash Alaei and Doctor Kamiar Alaei, two well-known Iranian physicians and HIV/AIDS leaders, were detained in June 2008 by Iranian authorities. The physicians, who are brothers, were held in Tehran’s notorious Evin prison for over six months without charges or trial. On December 31, 2008, a one-day, closed-door trial was held, in which the brothers were tried as conspirators working with an “enemy government” to overthrow the government of Iran. They were also tried at that time on unspecified other charges which neither they nor their lawyer were allowed to know, see the evidence of, or address.

On January 19, 2009, the Doctors Alaei were convicted and sentenced under charges of being in “communications with an enemy government” and “seeking to overthrow the Iranian government under article 508 of Iran’s Islamic Penal Code”. Kamiar was sentenced to three years and Arash was sentenced to six.

The Alaeis’ crime: traveling the world and liaising with health workers across the globe to find solutions to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The government used the doctors’ travel to international AIDS conferences as a basis for this charge — a dangerous conflation of public health diplomacy with treason that will harm Iran’s ability to be a worldwide medical leader and protect its people from disease and death.

Doctor Arash Alaei and Doctor Kamiar Alaei have played a role in putting the issues of drug use and HIV/AIDS on Iran’s national health care agenda. They have worked closely with government and religious leaders to ensure support for education campaigns on HIV transmission, including those targeting youth, and for HIV and harm reduction programs in prisons.

Since completing their medical training, the brothers have worked in AIDS research in Iran, and along with other clinicians and advocates, helped make the country a leader in prevention and treatment of HIV and AIDS. They played a part in the creation of Iran’s HIV/AIDS prison program, one of the best in the region if not the world. The program passes out condoms and syringes in the prisons, one of only a handful of countries globally doing so. The doctors have also shared their knowledge with neighboring countries by holding training workshops for Afghan and Tajik health professionals.

At the time of their arrest, Kamiar was studying for his doctorate in public health at the State University of New York’s University at Albany School of Public Health, and both doctors were working with organizations in New York to share ideas on HIV and harm reduction best practices.

Since their arrest, the Alaeis’ colleagues and classmates have campaigned vigorously on their behalf, gaining the support of the World Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the International AIDS society and more. Together with other doctors in dozens of countries around the world they have been organizing Global Days of Action and contacting Iranian embassies to press for the release of the Alaei brothers. The New York Academy of Sciences also gave the Alaei brothers the 2009 Heinz R. Pagels Human Rights of Scientists Award in honor of their work and their struggle for freedom.

Family, friends, and colleagues from around the world are deeply concerned for the brothers’ well-being. We urge you to take action today to ensure their human rights are protected and they are reconnected with their family.

After have jailed AIDS doctors working in prisons..

The chairman of the Iranian regime’s Prisons Organization admitted to a growing number of tuberculosis and Aids infections among Iranian prisoners as well as drug smuggling in the regime’s prisons.

July 16, 2010, Two Years Too Long: Iranian AIDS Doctors Arash and Kamiar Alaei Still in Prison. (Vienna, Austria) — As the XVIIIth International AIDS Conference begins in Vienna, Austria, two prominent international voices remained silenced. In June 2008, Drs. Kamiar and Arash Alaei — Iranian brothers famous for working with health workers across the globe to find solutions to the HIV/AIDS pandemic — were arrested in Tehran before they were to appear at the XVIIth International AIDS Conference in Mexico City. The brothers remain in jail, more than two years after their arrest.

Held without charges for six months, the brothers were eventually accused of attempting to “foment a velvet revolution.” After a perfunctory trial in December 2008, Kamiar and Arash were convicted of “communicating with an enemy government” and sentenced to three and six years, respectively, in Evin Prison in Tehran.

“Traveling to international HIV/AIDS conferences to help combat a global pandemic is not grounds for imprisonment — it's simply good medicine,” said Frank Donaghue, CEO of Physicians for Human Rights. “HIV/AIDS knows no borders and demands a coordinated international response, for the good of the Iranian people and all of us. Physicians for Human Rights and the global AIDS community continue to call on the Iranian government to release Drs. Arash and Kamiar.”

“This case sends an ominous signal regarding the Iranian government's willingness to stifle international scientific exchange,” Donaghue continued. “The charges are illegitimate and the case is marked by clear violations of due process. Their trial lasted less than a day and included secret charges and secret evidence their lawyer was unable to see or refute.”

Since their arrest, the scientific and medical community has rallied around the Alaeis. The World Medical Association, The American Medical Association, The European Union, and The International AIDS Society have all called for the Alaeis' release. Leading scientific publications including Nature Magazine, The Lancet and the British Medical Journal have all condemned the Alaeis' conviction as a violation of scientific freedom. Thousands of health professionals and human rights activists from more than 80 countries have signed petitions urging their release. At the conference in Vienna, supporters of the Alaeis will continue to highlight the brother's unjust imprisonment.

“Physicians and health professionals from across the globe stand in solidarity with the Alaeis this week,” said Dr. Robert Lawrence, Chair of PHR's Board of Directors.

Dr. Kamiar Alaei was a doctoral candidate at the SUNY Albany School of Public Health in Albany, New York at the time of his arrest, and was expected to resume his studies there on the fall of 2008. In 2007, he received a Master of Science degree in Population and International Health from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. Students and faculty from both institutions have led efforts for the Alaeis' release.

Dr. Arash Alaei is the former director of the International Education and Research Cooperation of the Iranian National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease. Since 1998, the Drs. Alaei have spearheaded HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention programs, particularly focused on harm reduction for injecting drug users.

In addition to their work in Iran, the Alaei brothers have held training courses for Afghan and Tajik medical workers and have worked to encourage regional cooperation among 12 Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries. Their efforts expanded the expertise of doctors in the region, advanced the progress of medical science, and earned Iran recognition as a model of best practice by the World Health Organization.

The Alaeis were also named recipients of the 2009 Heinz R. Pagels Human Rights of Scientists Award from the New York Academy of Sciences in September 2009.

Actually..

This criminal Israeli government is VERY much responsible for unrest and their own people´s insecurity. Just as the Turkish state in cooperation with the Iranian regime which actions and crimes have a effect on the Iraqis, the whole stability of Iraq and this whole "#¤#¤¤ region. As we said: These are true psychopaths that all are responsible for destabilization and crimes against people in the region including their own people, which obvious all people actually are not, and this "hall of shame" will be the most disgusting "hall of shame" ever!

As we said: It seems like some got it wrong. It´s not only discrimination- It´s 30 years of EXTERmination!

27 August 2010, GENEVA (Reuters) – Iran should do more to protect its ethnic minorities such as Arabs, Kurds and Baluch, a United Nations human rights body said on Friday.

The Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD), a group of 18 independent rights experts, said Iran lacked data on the numbers of ethnic minorities despite a census in 2007, but the participation of such people in public life appeared to be lower than could be expected.

Several armed groups opposed to the government are active in Iran, mostly made up of ethnic Kurds in the northwest, Baluch in the southeast and Arabs in the southwest.

“The Committee expresses concern at the limited enjoyment of political, economic, social and cultural rights by… Arab, Azeri, Balochi, Kurdish communities and some communities of non-citizens,” it said in a report on a regular review of Iran’s compliance with a 1969 international treaty banning racism.

The Committee also found discrimination is “rampant” against Baha’is — a minority whose faith the Shi’ite govt considers a heretical offshoot of Islam — committee member Dilip Lahiri said.

It also urged Iran to continue its efforts to empower women and promote their rights, paying particular attention to women belonging to ethnic minorities.

Some tenets of Islamic sharia law disadvantage Iranian women, Indian committee member Dilip Lahiri said. “On the other hand, in terms of their education and access to jobs, very remarkable progress has been made in Iran,” he told a briefing.

The committee voiced concern at reports of a selection procedure for state officials and employees, known as “gozinesh,” requiring them to demonstrate allegiance to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the state religion, which could limit opportunities for ethnic and religious minorities.

It said that lack of complaints was not proof of the absence of racial discrimination, as victims may not have confidence in the police or judicial authorities to handle them.

It called on Iran to set up an independent national human rights institution and report back to it at the start of 2013 on how it was dealing with the concerns and recommendations.

MARIWAN, Eastern Kurdistan--According to local sources a Kurdish man in Mariwan city was shot by the Iranian revolutionary guards. Mr Jabar Bostam who was working in the created boarders between Eastern Kurdistan and Southern Kurdistan as a result of the regimes systematic and deliberate shooting was announced dead.

Since the beginning of August 2010 6 Kurdish men have been shot dead by the Iranian revolutionary guards.

Same killing policies were implemented by the Turkish governments in 1990, and today the policies are adopted by the Iranian regime and killing Kurds have been ordered by the Iranian presidential office and national security department.

It is not regrettable to state that Human Rights organizations and EU states are too reluctant to reflect what is going on in Eastern Kurdistan because of their national interest and their economic and diplomatic relationship with the barbaric regime of Iran.

31 August 2010, Extrajudicial killing on the border at the Turkish parliament. BDP MP Fatma Kurtulan put question to Parliament. Pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) asked the Turkish government about the extrajudicial killings on the borders areas.

In a parliamentary question to be answered by the Minister of Interior Beşir Atalay, the Kurdish MP Fatma Kurtulan asked about the recent extrajudicial killing that took place on the Turkish-Iranian border in Van district on 28 August in which a 26-year old Kurdish villager Şerafettin Güleryüz lost his life. She also added that according to the witnesses the victim found himself in a cross fire by the Turkish and Iranian soldiers.

Also reminding the other similar incidents Kurtulan asked the Minister of Interior whether any investigations has been started regarding the incident, whether an autopsy was conducted on the victim’s body, whether the government has an action plan to prevent furthers incidents.

Violations of the rights to freedom of worship and freedom of movement

Ma’an - Hamas accused Egyptian security services Monday of obstructing the travel of pilgrims affiliated with the party to Mecca. The party said it was "puzzled" by Egypt's decision to prevent Hamas-affiliated pilgrims from passing through the country to reach Saudi Arabia, noting that the only route available to pilgrims is via the Rafah crossing on Egypt's border.

Further, the movement said Egyptian security were coordinating with security forces from rival party Fatah in Ramallah to withhold passports of Hamas affiliates. The group added that the Saudi Embassy said they had not received any passports belonging to Hamas members.

Hamas said the move violated the rights to freedom of worship and freedom of movement.

Ma'an-6 families ordered to vacate homes for demolition. Israeli forces on Monday told six Palestinian families in the Nablus district their homes would be demolished and ordered them to vacate within 48 hours, an official said.

The families were from Um Ar-Rashash, near Duma village, Palestinian Authority settlement affairs officer Ghassan Doughlas said. He added that the PA had authorized $100,000 to build a school in the area, whose 300 residents support themselves by farming.

A village mayor in Salfit said Tuesday that 10 armed Israeli settlers opened fire at three Palestinian teenagers near the as they tended to their land in Deir Istiya.

Village Mayor Nathmi Salman said Yousef Muhammad Al-Qaysi, 17, Sharaf Dawoud Ubeid, 18, and Udayy Azzam Ubeid, 18, were all tending to their land at 7:40 a.m. on the northern side of the village when mounted settlers rode past and fired on them.

No injuries or damage were reported in the incident he said, adding that the village is in close proximity to the illegal West Bank settlement of Immanuel, which were built on lands owned by village residents.

A 16-year-old worker was killed Sunday when a tunnel under the border between Egypt and the southern Gaza Strip collapsed, a medical official said. Abed Al-Latif Abu Tuyur was taken to Abu Yousef Al-Najjar Hospital, Gaza Health Ministry emergency chief Muawiya Hassanein said.

Well..As some one said: Maybe we shall just lay back and wait for the Israeli civil war..The Israeli state´s state is actually FAR worse than Anarchy where people are hanging out from the car windows shooting when they drives by..

Security contractors have come to kill and not secure

September 26, 2007, In the land of twin rivers prosper today the so-called security companies employing tens of thousands of foreign mercenaries some of them earning up to $1,000 per day.

So Iraq does not reel under the boots of U.S. marines. Scores of security contractors have lured swarms of mercenaries who are now blamed for the killing of innocent Iraqis and the liquidation of those opposing the parties they are assigned to protect.

They are armed to the teeth and some groups brandish weapons more sophisticated than those in the hands of U.S. occupiers. These trigger happy guys are not hold accountable for their actions as Iraqi police have not right to question them and Iraqi courts cannot hold them accountable. They do whatever they want with impunity.

Many Iraqis blame them for some of the worst crimes and most devastating explosions in the country. In the Iraqi vernacular they are called hameeha harameeha or ‘sentry-turned thief’.

There are no exact figures on the numbers of these thieves but the U.S. alone is reported to have contracted at least 20,000 of them who are nothing but the dregs of humanity.

Some of the U.S.-contracted thieves are remnants of Serbian militias whose role in the genocide of Muslims in Bosnia and Kosovo cannot be denied. Some others are the remnants of the hated apartheid regime of South Africa.

Their employers called ‘security contractors’ are currently granted immunity from prosecution under Iraqi law by Order 17 of the Coalition Provisional Authority – the now-defunct interim body set by the U.S.-led coalition in the wake of the fall of Baghdad.

As a result there is no way to hold a security contractor like Blackwater of the U.S. even if it kills half of the Iraqi people and not just the 11 innocent Iraqis they murdered at the Nisoor Square.

Well...Actually, similar to the Turkish Jitem that have gone raids with expositions all over Turkey which the Turkish state and army blames on PKK, U.S. backed "special forces" that do look like the "special forces" roaming the streets in Iran..

Actually..

The Iraqi Holocaust in numbers of Iraqis deaths goes WAY beyond the Jewish Holocaust by now. And counting all the people that have fell victim of the Turkish state since it was established and the ongoing ethnically cleaning, extermination and genocide on the Kurds in cooperation with Syria and the Iranian regime, under the U.S. administrations and Treasury department, since the U.S. supported Turkish coup and Iranian "revolution", we believe those numbers of victims of the Turkish state, which are in NO way "issues of "human rights or discrimination's", are similar to the Jewish Holocaust, or beyond as well. And would be as criminal to deny as denying the Holocaust, and as criminal and similar to speaking about the Holocaust victims as terrorists and rebels and issues of "human rights"!

The U.S.-Jewish-Brittish mainstream media is a crime in itself. And is both a maintenance and compliment to the violations and crimes of the Turkish and Syrian states, the Iranian regime and the Sri Lankan government and is a complicity in genocides!

What the media elites fail to tell us is that when critical voices from victim ethnic groups or elsewhere, come forward they are usually denied access

Recent articles in the mainstream media would have us believe that governments around the world somehow question the factuality of the 1915 Armenian, Assyrian and Greek genocides committed by Turkey. These articles would also have us believe that the Turkish government's latest temper tantrums over these genocides are justified. Turkey, of course, recalled its ambassadors to protest the passage of resolutions by the U.S. House of Representatives' Foreign Affairs Committee and the Swedish Parliament that acknowledged Turkish culpability for these genocides.

Despite what today's mainstream media are declaring, the evidence proving the 1915 genocides is overwhelming. And formal resolutions affirming these unpunished crimes against humanity made appearances around the world long before 2010.

Regardless of what pro-Turkish apologists would have us believe, the issue has never been about whether the Turkish regime carried out genocide. Rather, it has always been about when Turkey would be punished and deliver reparations and restitution to the rightful, indigenous inhabitants.

Powerful media elites would have us believe that the mainstream media universe has been devoid of criticism for Turkey's unpunished crimes because such voices are either non-existent, marginal, irrelevant, fabricated or some combination thereof.

What the media elites fail to tell us is that when these critical voices -- from victim ethnic groups or elsewhere -- come forward to submit letters, opinion pieces, or quotes, they are usually denied access.

Media elites also neglect to tell us that opinions that do not reflect the official narrative spun by Turkey -- not to mention Israel and the U.S. -- largely go unpublished.

Authoritative voices that would discredit mainstream media's official narrative of the genocide issue are removed from the elite's "golden Rolodex" -- the name given to describe the small group of establishment-approved "experts" who are most frequently quoted in news stories or asked to appear on television.

The absence of dissent in the mainstream media and in the halls of power does not mean that the victims of the genocides and their descendants are insignificant, apathetic or deceitful. No, we are alive, awake and infuriated.

The media are also telling us that we should sympathize with Turkey because it feels "humiliated" by accusations of genocide. Turkey uses this word to describe its anger that its national honor has somehow been injured by such accusations.

Do Turkish, Israeli and American officials know what "humiliation" means to the survivors and descendants of the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek genocides who experienced debasement and degradation during the genocidal ordeals and are forced to endure denials and demeaning treatment right up to the present day?

And how did humiliation of the victims occur? By order of the Young Turk regime, unarmed civilian subjects -- Armenian, Assyrian and Greek men, women and children -- were raped in broad daylight, in front of their families and neighbors.

The tortures and violations were beyond one's wildest imagination. Innocents were skinned and burned alive. Their tongues and fingernails were torn out. Horseshoes were nailed to their feet. They were stripped naked and sent on death marches into the desert. Women's breasts were cut off and their pregnant bellies bayoneted. Fetuses were thrown up into the air and impaled on swords and bayonets for sport. Men were tied to tree limbs that were bent towards one another. When the tree's limbs were released, the men's bodies were torn in half. Women were tied to horses and dragged to their deaths.

Those Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks who were not exterminated, enslaved in harems, or kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam were driven from their indigenous lands. Those who survived the death marches spent the rest of their lives in exile, uprooted from their culture and civilization, grieving for their slaughtered families and yearning for their ancestral homeland.

Media elites are giving voice to embroidered Turkish "humiliation" and not to the real humiliation of the victims, survivors and heirs who live with constant anguish in the face of torture, dispossession, contempt and indifference. Media elites are defending Turkey when it is the martyrs and their heirs who deserve mercy and compassion.

In spite of Turkey's efforts to humiliate the victims at the time of the genocides -- and to prolong this humiliation up to the present day with cultural theft, trivialization and scapegoating -- the dignity of the victims and their descendants has, remarkably, remained intact.

Turkey's genocidal crimes have gone unpunished. While continually profiting from the homes, farms, lands, properties, institutions and possessions confiscated in 1915, Turkey even accuses the victims and survivors of the crimes that it itself committed. And media elites portray ongoing survivor grievances as nuisances that impede "progress."

It is the genocide deniers -- the rulers and lobbies of the U.S., Turkey, Israel, and Azerbaijan -- who are the ones impeding progress.

Their denial, duplicity and audacity do not mean that the genocides' victims and their heirs have been defeated. Denying the truth does not invalidate it. Fictional Turkish "reconciliation" initiatives foisted upon Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks will never take the place of genuine atonement and restitution, which are necessary for true progress to be made.

To these deniers and obstructionists we say, "Your tactics are transparent. The perpetrators, beneficiaries and enablers of the ongoing genocide against the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek peoples will be brought to justice. You can hide from the truth, but you can't hide the truth. We will persist, and the truth will prevail."

The US-backed assault against the Kurds is a "intensive ethnic cleansing."

The Assyrian Genocide Monument was installed on August 7 and had just been unveiled, was vandalized by Turkish nationalists in Fairfield, Australia.

The Khazars were a semi-nomadic Turkic people who dominated the Pontic steppe and the North Caucasus from the 7th to the 10th century. The name "Khazar" seems to be tied to a Turkic verb form meaning "wandering". In the 7th century, the Khazars founded an independent Khaganate in the Northern Caucasus along the Caspian Sea.

Well..Actually, it´s Bolgars, Caucasians, Albanians, (some sources claim the pro-Israeli-genocider-army general is Albanian some claim he is Caucasian), Azeri Turks, Turkic tribes, Khazar Jews, The United States, Britain etc..that have had a ongoing ethnically cleaning, mass-genocides, total exterminations in this region and beyond, of Greeks, Armenians, Kurds, Assyrians, on Cyprus, Iraqis, Palestinians, Iranians/Persians, Tamils and half of #¤¤ Asia, with Afghans, Pashtuns, Baloch etc...etc..that has been going on ever since the Young Turks their media, business in Tabriz and weapon business, and #¤¤ Joseph Stalin cleaning off whole #¤¤ Russia and it VERY much continues today!

And there is no way in hell it has ever been a "war against rebels and terrorists"! This "rebels" claims by Britain since the 18th century is very much like if we all go to Britain and which ever Briton complains about us invading are justified targets to be cleansed off as rebels!

In these genocides, 750,000 indigenous Christian Assyrians living in their ancestral homelands (known today as the republics of Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran), including 1½ million Armenians, 300,000 Hellenes, thousands of Kurds, which today victims can be counted in the millions, were burned, slaughtered, and shot systematically. Defenseless men, women, children and the elderly all became victims of these genocides.

The Sahwa movement has become a matter of increasing concern

Leaders of pro-government Sunni militias have accused Iraq’s national leaders of leaving them in poverty and vulnerable to violence. The Sahwa movement has become a matter of increasing concern.

Sahwa, also known as the Awakening Councils or Sons of Iraq, is a Sunni Arab tribal movement that from 2006 onwards, played a key role in battling insurgent groups. But now Sahwa leaders complain that the handover of military control to the Shia-dominated Iraqi government has led to delays and non-payment.

"We have left our posts, the army and the government are floundering around” said a Sahwa leader west of Baghdad. “The new government will have to beg us to organise ourselves to restore the security we’ve achieved during the last two years.”

Resentment among Sahwa members is growing, and is directed against both the US and the Iraqi government, which they accuse of failing to deliver on pledges to provide jobs or integrate them into the Iraqi security forces.

"We need to realise that the Sahwa has been betrayed by the Americans and by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's cabinet,” said the head of the Anbar Rescue Council. “We have accomplished what the Americans and the Iraqi army failed to do, but the leaders who fought are sitting in cafes with no jobs and they aren’t being paid a penny.

Al-Qaeda’s mounting influence and new tactics have made the situation more complex. The group has alternated between brutal attacks on Sahwa members and offers of wages if the militiamen switch sides and take up arms against the US and Baghdad.

In recent weeks, the killing of senior Sahwa figures has intensified. Sahwa has been especially vulnerable in Iraq’s western Anbar province, where the group was founded.

“Sixty per cent of the armed attacks [in Anbar province] have targeted Sahwa, especially between mid-March and early August,” said Captain Ali al-Dulami of the Ramadi police. “Twenty-three houses have been destroyed and 29 Sahwa fighters have been killed by IEDs or assassinations using silenced pistols. Forty-four have been wounded and 12 leaders have quit their posts – some of them have even left Iraq.

The attacks culminated on July 18 when a suicide bomber killed 45 Sahwa members and injured dozens more as they stood in line to collect allegedly overdue salaries in a southern suburb of Baghdad. The same day, a second suicide attack targeted the local Sahwa headquarters in the north-eastern city of Qaim, killing three and wounding six.

“The government has left us exposed to al-Qaeda,” said the Sahwa leader in Ramadi, a town in Anbar province. “Even our personal weapons were confiscated under the pretext that they were unlicensed. All the sacrifices we have made have gone to waste. Today we stand in the face of a new storm – al-Qaeda. The government has condemned us to death.”

Captain Dulami added, “This new targeting by al-Qaeda has reinforced what many believe, that Sahwa was just a shoe that the US and the government put on to step out of the quagmire the Sunni provinces were in when they were controlled by al-Qaeda.”

The delays in wage payments are a source of deep frustration for Sawha stalwarts. Spokesman for the Sahwa movement in eastern Fallujah, told IWPR the force there had not been paid in three months.

The charge that payment problems are driving Sahwa members to join al-Qaeda was denied by Brigadier-General Maared Hassoun, head of the interior ministry’s tribal affairs department. Hassoun said 20 per cent of Sahwa fighters had been taken on by the defence and interior ministries, and 75 per cent had entered employment with other ministries.

"What’s left is a very small number who haven't joined any ministry, and even they are receiving adequate help,” Hassoun told IWPR. “As for those who’ve joined the security and service-delivery ministries, they receive wages just like their colleagues.

However, Rifat Mohammad, head of the government’s National Reconciliation Committee in Anbar province, acknowledged that pay was arriving late in the region, and was lower than it used to be.

“The government has offered wages to those who fight al-Qaeda in dangerous areas, but the sum doesn't amount to ten per cent of what the US used to pay,” he said. “In addition, the payments usually arrive late – once every three or four months. Some Sahwa members haven't been paid in six months.”

Mohammad said the authorities had offered Sahwa combatants employment on a par with their levels of education, but many had turned down jobs as security guards or petrol station attendants because they viewed such work as beneath them.

In addition to attacking Sahwa members, al-Qaeda has used other forms of intimidation and enticement in its efforts to break up the organisation. A Sahwa leader in the western part of Anbar province, said he and at least six other militia leaders had received notes from al-Qaeda asking them to turn a blind eye to insurgent actions.

“Returning to al-Qaeda would be like committing suicide because al-Qaeda can’t be trusted,” he said. “They may kill Sahwa members after using them, just like they used to do with policemen whom they’d recruited.” Mizhir al-Mulla, a member of Anbar provincial council, said he was deeply concerned about the timing of al-Qaeda's attacks and its attempts to win over disgruntled Sahwa members.

"We are facing a serious problem,” he said. “We have seen al-Qaeda grow as a result of the government crisis and the security situation. We are afraid it will find a way to attract desperate Sahwa fighters who’ve had nothing but government lies and al-Qaeda threats."

Joint Statement condemning Al-Shabab’s attacks against the people of Mogadishu

This brutal offensive is being conducted on several fronts. It includes both the illegal blockading of food and humanitarian assistance as well the cold-blooded murder of innocent Somali citizens.

This offensive, particularly during the Holy month of Ramadan, demonstrates a complete disregard for human life and Somali culture. Of particular concern is the presence of foreign fighters, working in collaboration with Al-Shabab, against ordinary Somalis.

With all the intelligence and "strategic allieships"..

Turkey seeks Israeli radars for Kurdistan border. Sensory system to boost security along Turkey's border with Kurdistan. A government-owned Turkish company has looked into the possibility of purchasing BiScopic Protection system, a high performance stereoscopic vision sensory system for the detection of perimeter intrusion. Kurdish infiltrations into Turkish territory have increased as of late.

Except from the fact that it´s Turkey that bombs Kurds in their 7.000 years homeland, one thought that with the U.S. troops in Iraq and the close fellowship between the U.S. and the Israeli state, millions of Iraqis deaths and thousands of U.S. troops later and allegations of militants coming in from Syria, some %&%¤¤ intelligence person would have thought to install such sensory system at Iraq's border to Syria...

Well..Nja.....Njah...Why would they ever have thought of that..?

As we said: 9/11 was a Satan´s monster that crawled up in Turkey´s shore, laid it´s stomach in Iraq and it´s tail in the lap of the Mullahs in Iran..

http://persian2english.com/?p=13717

Mullen: National Debt Is 'Top' Security Threat

Well..Yeah..One wonder what some would do without any threats..Drop dead?

Discrimination? Or actually EXTERMINATION. Under the U.S.-Jewish Treasury Department and with U.S. weaponry since the late 70´s or before

Iran: Kurdish political prisoner Rahim Rashi is on day 36 of his hunger strike in Mahabad prison. His physical condition has deteriorated and he is connected to IV tubes.

Two men known as Mr Hiwa Moatamedi and Kamal Illahy were arrested on Thursday and currently they being held in Saqez central prison, Said local source. Every day Kurds are being shot dead, killed, murdered, arrested and tortured by the regimes authorities as part of elimination process and wiping out Kurdish identity.

Despite the concerns of International community and Human Rights organizations in regards of Human Rights violation in Iran by the regimes authorities, unfortunately little attention is paid to the Kurdish situation in Eastern Kurdistan.

According to Mokryan News Agency, regimes officials denying Kurdish political prisoners release from the Prison in Mehabad city. Kurdish prisoner Mr. Shoresh Mam Rahman who was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by the Mehabads revolutionary court in Mehabad, has been brutally tortured and his right of liberty has been denied even though his prison term had been finished.

According to the same source another Kurdish political prisoner Mr Karim Haloyee has been attacked by the regimes jailors in Mehabad prison and suffered teeth broke.

According to the Human Rights activists news agency (HRANA) a political prisoner has died as a result of brutal torture he faced by the jailors in Ormiyah central prison. Mr Masoud Bahmani a political prisoner was murdered by jailor who is known as (Khanzady).

After the horrific death of Mr Bahmani his family were notified of the death of their son. In protest to the inhuman and barbaric murdering of Mr Bahmani, his mother setup a fire on herself in front of the Ormiyah central prison. Until the publication of this news, no information has received about the mother of the victim.

URMIYAH, Eastern Kurdistan--A Kurdish woman on death row has died as a result of lack of care treatment in Urmiyah central prison. According to the local news source from Eastern Kurdistan; a woman named Efsane D has lost her life at İmam KHumeyni Hospital, where she was committed to the emergency department last night due to a brain disease she was diagnosed with in the jail.

First she was transferred to Mehabad central hospital, which is not fitted for sever disease treatments because of the regimes health ministry policies in Kurdish cities. Mrs Efsaneh health situation deteriorated last night before she was admitted to the Imam Khomeini hospital in Urmiyah. Unfortunately after arrival to the emergency department few hours later she was announced dead.

Mrs Efsanah along with her brother were on death row. However, according to the local news sources the alleged charges they have been convicted of are suspicious, and also the date of arrest and the date of trail are not known to the Human Rights organization in Eastern Kurdistan.

Mrs Efsanah is the second victim who lost life in Urmiyah prison within one week. On 22 august a political prisoner was tortured to death by the jailors in Urmiyah prison who´s mother set fire on herself in front of the Urmiyah central prison.

Since last six month 8 Kurdish political prisoners have been suspiciously reported died, inside the Iranian prisons.

Iranian military killed a Kurd yesterday for alleged illegal crossing of Iran-Turkey border. Witnesses said Iranian soldiers opened fire without warning. Twenty-six year old Sheraffaddin Guleryuz from village of Sirimli near Saray, a disrict of Van province, was killed by Iranian soldiers on the Iran-Turkey border.

He was returning from Belasor village on the other side of the border his relatives said. Iranian soldiers opened fire without any warning on the border which is very close to Sirimli village.

Five more survived from the shooting. A relative of a survivor told the Iranian soldiers in Nezerbeg outpost is responsible for the killing. He also said there were reports that Turkish soldiers in Cemil Cicek outpost also opened fire on the villagers. Guleryuz's body was sent to his village after an autopsy in Van State Hospital.

Turkey: Police attacks funeral of Kurdish guerrilla

More than 300 chronically ill inmates died in prison in Turkey since 2002, human rights organisations say. About 50 chronically ill prisoners pleas are ignored by the Islamist AKP government, Freedom Platform for Chronically Ill Prisoners said in a press statement. “AKP is continuing isolation torture in prisons. They don't treat the ill prisoners. This is a silent mass murder” Servet Gocmen, represantative of the platorm says.

“They are kept in prison and watch them die. AKP is hypocritical about its human rights policy”. Gocmen and relatives of prisoners gathered today in Istanbul in protest of Turkish governments attitude against prisoners; especially political prisoners. Gocmen critised the current treatment procedures for the prisoners which sometimes results no adequate treatment.

He said AKP is responsible for death of more than 300 prisoners. All of their applications for release are rejected by Turkish Justice Ministry. According to Amnesty International's reports allegations of ill-treatment on transfer to prison persisted and, in a number of cases, prisoners' access to appropriate medical treatment was denied in Turkey.

A leading Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militant's last wish became reality 28 years after his death during the legendary hunger strike in Diyarbakir prison in 1982. According to witnesses Ali Cicek's last wish was to be buried in Diyarbakir. He told about his last will to his friends just hours before his death. His body was taken to Osmaniye by Turkish soldiers and buried there after his death on September 17th 1982.

28 years later his Cicek's family decided to appeal to Turkish authorities to follow his last will. After approval officials opened Cicek's grave and the remains are now transferred to Diyarbakir. His body is reburried in Yenikoy cemetery, Diyarbakir with a simple ceremony in presence of his family and friends. Ali Cicek was arrested by Turkish military when he was 16. He was a very close friend of PKK's legendary figure Kemal Pir. He joined the 14 July Death Fast Resistance and died on September 17th 1982.

Despite his age he showed enormous courage against torture campaign in Diyarbakir Prison. Therefore he is considered a symbol of resistance for Kurdish people. He was nicknamed “Our Red Star” by Mehmet Hayri Durmus, one of the leading founders of the PKK. The same nickname was used for him by Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Ramazan Doğan has died last night.

He spent the last 15 years of his life in search of his son who disappeared after he was detained by the soldiers when he was still 13. However, like mother Asiye Doğan, the life of Ramazan Doğan did not suffice to find their son Seyhan Doğan. Now it is everybody’s responsibility to find out about Seyhan’s fate.

Seyhan Doğan was only 13 when he was detained by the Turkish soldiers in Dargecit district of Mardin in 1995. Since then the family has constantly looked for the fate of their disappeared son, or at least his bones. However, Ramazan Doğan heart could not stand anymore and he died due to a heart attack last night. Until the day they passed away they have never lost their hope for finding out the responsible and bringing them before justice.

He was only 13 when he went missing

13-year old Seyhan was detained together with his 9-year old brother Hazni by the soldiers who raided their house on 29 October 1995. When the mother went to the military base to ask for her sons she was told that they will be back home soon. However, while Hazni was released a couple of days later Seyhan remained in the custody. Hazni told the family that he saw his brother hanged upside down and subjected to severe tortures. Seyhan had to face “Palestine hanging” while his peers were at the school.

The mother was also tortured while searching her son

The mother Asiye Doğan never gave up looking for Seyhan. After she could not get any response from the official she appeared on Med TV, the first Kurdish TV, and said: “They state took my son away, I want him back.” Shortly after the broadcasting she also went missing for 11 days. Although the officials denied that she was arrested, 11 days later when she was back she said she was in custody and subjected to severe torture. The torture has injured her health and she did not survive long after she was released.

The family later found out that while the officials did not do anything to find out what happened to Seyhan the registry office records defined him as dead.

After the mother passed away the father Ramazan continued looking for Seyhan. He joined the Saturday Mothers who were gathering in front of Galatasaray High School in Istanbul in order to ask for their sons’ and daughters’ fate.

The father has also been detained and tortured as a result of which he could not use one of his hands anymore. His only guilt was that he refused to be a village guard which cost him a son and rest of his life.

On 31 July in response to the Turkish PM who said “I do not know what they are doing but the Saturday Mothers are used by someone” Ramazan Doğan was screaming to make himself heard. “I have been looking for my sons’ bone for years. What are you doing Prime Minister.” It is reported that the funeral for Ramazan Doğan will be conducted by Saturday Mothers and human rights defenders.

Syria: A Kurdish soldier serving in the Syrian Army reported to have died in a suspicious way. While the Syrian army officials stated that 19-year old Shiyar Osman who has been doing his military service for 8 months committed suicide on 22 August. However, Human Rights Committee has reported that Osman was shot in the stomach.

Many Kurdish soldiers suspiciously lost their lives during serving in Syrian and Turkish army. Although the army officials claim that the Kurdish soldiers are committing suicide, the families of died soldiers are not satisfied with the officials reports and statements, and they claim when they receive their sons bodies scars of bullets are on their bodies.

Since the beginning of this year at least 6 Kurdish youth serving mandatory military service lost their lives by committing suicide. The number of these suspicious deaths since 2009 reached 26. However, the Syrian officials fail to conduct a proper investigation regarding death incidents.

According to the ANF records while 20 Kurdish soldiers died under suspicious circumstances last year the number of such incidents since the beginning of this year reached 6. According to the figures released by Human Rights Committee and KCK-Rojava at least 40 Kurdish soldiers doing military service died since 2004.

Organized and coordinated attacks in Iraq

Maliki: Groups Planning More Attacks. Claims foreign-Backed al-Qaeda and Ba'athists Planning Series of Bombings. Speaking today on Iraqi state television, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki warned that he had information that al-Qaeda and former Ba’athists were plotting a new series of bombings with the help of “foreign backers.” Maliki’s warning comes just two days after a massive series of coordinated attacks across Iraq which left at least 92 people, including many security forces, killed and nearly 400 others wounded.

Violence has been rising precipitously over the past several months and major attacks like this are getting more and more common. Maliki has blamed Syria for a number of previous attacks, and the Syrian government is said to be pushing for the next Iraqi government to cut Maliki’s State of Law bloc out entirely.

Well..Maybe the Kurds in the mountains have right when they claim Syria has become another province of Turkey. Just like Australia in fact..drilling for oil in Kurdish land and jail and persecute Kurds at the same time.. The Jewish FBI director does not do much good for the Iraqis or any ones else really, from his office in Istanbul..Does he..

Meanwhile NATO Kills Six Children in Afghanistan, ("for the homeland security of the United States"), the Jewish French President is willing to sell helicopter missiles to Lebanon as part of a deal which has yet to be signed. While the Jewish American administration is providing the Israeli state with Installation of Israeli Rocket Defense System. The Israeli state sells weaponry to India and the U.S. to Pakistan etc..etc..and most of it contains depleted uranium while the United States is out hunting for WMD´s.

We are not much for giving advices but we do believe Nouri al-Maliki and the Iraqis really need to solve their differences and put the security of the Iraqis first of everything. Without listening to criminals in Syria or Iran that actually do not give much damn about anything than their own interests and as much as the Turkish state all together under the Jewish Treasury department and the U.S. intelligence and every other weapon dealer have no respect for International laws, right to life, or others lives what so ever..

Vultures invaded Iraq in the fall of 2007 and the Iraqi politicians really need to look out after the Iraqi people and Nations interests and security before anything else and realize what ever "supporters" from Iran or Syria does as much good for the Iraqi people as the FBI director in Istanbul..Back up each other instead of competing, make sure your forces back up each other and the sons of Iraq. Clean up your acts in the Iraqi security forces and officials, because every one have very much eyes on them!

Moreover, we wouldn´t have any objections what so ever to see responsible leaders in the U.S, Turkey, Syria etc..in for a Tribunal...

Betrayal...Yeah...Since the instigated genocidal war-fare and NATO´s most armed member "fighting terrorism"

SAMARRA, Iraq (AFP) – The Sahwa, who helped avert a civil war and were crucial to curbing Iraq's sectarian violence when it peaked in 2006 and 2007, have been killed in recent months in acts of retaliation.

The Sahwa feel abandoned and its men complain of being betrayed by the nation they fought to defend. The Sons of Iraq moved under the control of the Shiite-led Iraqi government in early 2009 and they have since complained of shoddy treatment.

The the Sahwa has recorded hundreds of fatalities since its formation, suffering almost daily bombings and shootings at checkpoints and a rise in attacks this year. "The government has not shown any cooperation with the Sahwa, to help us get on with our duties," said Mohammed, head of the Sons of Iraq.

When control over the Sahwa passed to the Iraqi government in April 2009 Baghdad promised to integrate 20 percent of the men into the police or army and find civil service jobs for many of the rest. However, 52,000 of the fighters are still waiting for new employment.

But since the transfer of responsibility their wages have often been paid late, and the US withdrawal has sparked disquiet among the Sons of Iraq that their security is being compromised.

Just last month, a suicide bomber blew himself up among a crowd waiting to receive their wages outside Baghdad, killing 45 and wounding 46. "Attacks have increased with the approach of the US withdrawal from Iraq," said Majeed Abbas. Since responsibility fell on the Iraqi government, we have suffered from a lack of support and salaries." The 46-year-old added: "This negligence has given the terrorists motivation to target Sahwa forces and their leaders. "Each passing day, we record another attack against us."

Betrayal...Yeah...Since the instigated genocidal war-fare and NATO´s most armed member "fighting terrorism" in cooperation with the Iranian regime under the U.S. Treasury department and the ongoing extermination and genocide "against the enemies of the region" that just happened to have lived here since ¤%¤¤ 7.000 years and been forced into a genocidal war-fare where the whole Kurdish people have done everything possible for solutions, peace and democracy for 30 #¤¤ years, while criminals have done everything and used every #¤¤ criminal method they could ever come up with against it, while totally destabilizing Iraq and actually have not give a ¤%¤¤ damn about the stability of Iraq!

"The war is a war of intelligence."

Well..Yeah..The American, British leaders, NATO´s most armed member and CIA have been so #¤¤ busy with "intelligence" in cooperation with the Iranian regime and the Turkish-Syrian "high level cooperation", under the U.S. Treasury department and Secretary of terrorist since the instigated genocidal war-fare..Maybe some recon over a half of millions of Iraqis deaths as "Nancy Pelosi message of peace"..Or for "the security of the United States"..

Actually, Turkey can take their thousands of business men and the rest their ambassadors and go to hell! More over, Australia with it´s workers drilling oil in Iraq has no #¤¤ justifications WHAT SO EVER to crack down or jail people coming from the very fields their companies are drilling in, at the same time Turkey is jailing every #¤¤ one from Istanbul to Van in a "democratization process" and to "encourage Kurds from armed resistance", at the same time Iraq is destabilized! It speaks a WHOLE LOT! Doesn´t it!

¤#&%¤¤ Bolgars!

"The threat to the United States"

Actually, One and a half o millions of Iraqis deaths later.("This time around").why don´t the U.S. leaders take their "security of the United States" and shuffle it up somewhere!

IT´S ¤%¤¤¤ TIME TO REALIZE!

That people all over this whole world wants an end on this global genocidal steamroller!

"Turkey´s wildfires"..There are no ¤%¤¤ "Wildfires" in Turkey, it´s a ongoing extermination in the same way it always have been done, ever since Armenian villagers were burnt down!

"What If Foreigners See the United States as an 'Exporter of Terrorism'?"

If? IF? What the hell did the U.S., Britain and CIA in Iran, Afghanistan, Kurdish villages and world wide in 1979 and ever after? And this is coming from CIA? Psychopaths! Actually the U.S. leaderships and CIA have and are not just "exporting terrorism" and maintained it, but created conditions for people to act in self defence, or actually force people to it with the most gross violations and crimes and then call it terrorism, just like the Turkish state the U.S. has aided for decades, to be able to use it as a pretext to pursue genocidal agendas world ¤%¤¤ wide!

"The Mosque Rage Boils Over: Anti-Muslim Attacks Increasing Across US."

And not only overseas, but creates polarizations at home as well..it´s sure ain´t a question of religion!

IF!

In fact, the agenda is very ¤%¤¤ clear.. "What the Kurds are experiencing is genocide”

Chronology of Ceasefires: Peace efforts of the Kurdish Side 1993-2010

After years of fighting, the Kurdish liberation movement sought to find a political solution of the conflict. These efforts of the PKK, Kurdistan Worker’s Party, were underlined by the declaration of its first unilateral ceasefire in 1993. This truce however was undermined and sabotaged by gangs of war profiteers.

Being committed to and convinced of the necessity of a peaceful solution of the Kurdish question, the leader of the PKK, Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, repeatedly declared ceasefires such as in 1995 and 1998. The last truce became impossible to sustain due to concerted action against it by many different states.

KCK Presidency of the Executive Council and the Kongra-Gel Presidential Board announced the unilateral cease-fire from 13 August 2010 to 20 September 2010

The peace initiatives of the PKK are in chronological order as below;

• April 13, 2009 KCK decided for a cease-fire
• June, 1 2010 KCK declaration of the self-defence
• August 13, 2010 KCK declared the unilateral cease-fire from 13 August 2010 to 20 September. 2010.

1993
17 March 1993, General Secretary of the PKK declared the first ceasefire. On April 17, 1993, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, extended the cease-fire indefinitely. Among the conditions were:

a) Immediate halt to Turkish military operations.
b) Abolition of the regional governorship system.
c) Constitutional recognition of the Kurdish identity.
d) Creation of conditions conducive to the return of displaced Kurds to Kurdistan.
e) Compensation for the loss of property.
At a press conference on June 8, 1993, Mr. Abdullah Öclan announced the ending of the cease-fire which had been unilaterally enforced by the PKK since March 17, 1993.

14 December 1995,
Mr. Abdullah Ocalan Declares Unilateral Cease-Fire to Test Turkey for the Cause of Peace. On December 14, 1995, Mr. Abdullah Ocalan announced a unilateral cease-fire to test Turkey for the cause of peace in an interview with the Kurdish satellite television station MED-TV.

Mr. Abdullah Ocalan stated: "We have announced a unilateral cease-fire. We wish to see how the new Turkish government, which will come to power after the December 24, 1995 elections, approaches the Kurdish question. It is a goodwill gesture on our part to give them the benefit of the doubt for new ways to deal with the issue." Mr. Ocalan continued: "During the cease-fire, if the Turkish military does not attack PKK forces, then our guerrillas will halt all their offensive military actions."

Mr. Ocalan announced this cease-fire in response to attempts by the European Parliament to find ways for a political solution to the Kurdish question. Another factor was the desire to create more peaceful conditions for the upcoming general elections in Turkey.

He states: "If Turkey wishes to be a party to the political solution to the Kurdish question but does not want to enter into dialogue with our party, the PKK, some other Kurdish institution could act as an interlocutor, so long as the existence of the PKK is accepted as a fact and the reality on the ground is not misconstrued."

Mr. Ocalan, moreover, called upon the nations of Europe to establish a commission to oversee the cease-fire and to redouble their efforts for the cause of peace so that the momentum for a political solution is not wasted. He noted that Turkey's recent admission into the European Customs Union by definition has made the Kurdish question a European issue. It is the duty, therefore, of European countries to bring an end to the war in Turkey. PKK Chair, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan called upon Turkey's political and military institutions to respect the cease-fire. He also called on the international community to acknowledge and give their support to this peace effort.

End of the ceasefire in May 1996

2 September 1998,
PKK Announces Ceasefire in Turkey. The PKK announced a unilateral ceasefire in its fight for Kurdish autonomy in Turkey. Mr. Abdullah Öcalan announced the ceasefire in a telephone interview on Kurdish MED-TV. In this interview he said that the ceasefire was timed to correspond with the September 1st World Peace Day. "Terror and violence are not the best ways in human relations. For as long as we are not attacked by Turkish forces, we will not undertake any armed action," he said, adding that the ceasefire would last until April 1999. Kurdish sources said that although they would not initiate attacks on Turkish forces, they reserved the right to fight in self-defense.

The timing of the ceasefire announcement coincided with a changeover in the military, as Ismail Hakki Karadayi, chief of general staff, hands over command to General Huseyin Kivrikoglu. In addition, Turkey is looking toward the general election next April. Some analysts saw the ceasefire as an attempt by the PKK to renew its struggle in the arena of national politics. In 1997, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan told Kurdish MED-TV that the PKK was ready for a unilateral cease-fire and wanted to begin negotiations with the Turkish government. Turkey has so far rejected all such offers and refuses to negotiate with the group. Recently Öcalan claimed that he no longer sought to separate the mainly Kurdish southeast from Turkey, saying that, "Following a realistic policy of Kurdish independence does not mean changing the borders."

Turkish government ignores ceasefire

This time, too, the Turkish government said that it would not respond to the ceasefire announcement. Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz said Turkey would never agree to negotiate with the PKK and called on Mr. Öcalan to surrender. Yilmaz added that the efforts of the PKK to create a political platform in Europe would be in vain.

November 13, 1998, Intending to solve the Kurdish question through the political dialogue with Europe, Mr. Abdullah Ocalan left the Middle East and flew to Europe in October 1998. His stay in Europe ended abruptly with his kidnapping on February 15, 1999 and his subsequent imprisonment on the Turkish prison island of Imrali.

November 14, 1998, PKK Central Committee. Current developments centred upon our leadership's person portend to be of real significance in determining our people's fate. The Turkish State responded to the announcement of a cease-fire by our Party's General Secretary, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, and his attempt to realize a peaceful solution to the Kurdish question, on the occasion of World Peace Day, September 1, 1998, by hatching a plot with international dimensions.

Reacting to the cease-fire by intensifying the war, the peace offering met with the fiercest display of enmity. The entire efforts of the Turkish State have concentrated upon attacking us - whether militarily, politically, diplomatically or what-have-you. Now, the direct-targeting of our national leadership attains new dimensions in the attempted genocide of our people.

In response to this, our party and people, rallying behind our national leadership, have determinedly pursued our resistance on the basis of a legitimate defense of the cause of liberty. Our voice has risen up loudly; a heavy price paid to realize freedom, democracy and human rights. It was for those same goals of our national freedom struggle that the General Secretary of our Party, Mr. Abdullah Öcalan, traveled to Rome, the capital of Italy, on 13 November 1998. The visit, which took place with the knowledge of the Italian Government, is of a political character, and is not merely a matter of his seeking refuge or security. As far as our national leadership is concerned, both security and location can be secured, most important of all, in our own land. We have no doubt whatsoever on this issue.

February 15, 1999,
The President of the PKK, Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, was handed over to the Republic of Turkey following a clandestine operation backed by an alliance of secret services directed by their corresponding governments.

August 25, 1999,
PKK Begins Withdrawal from Turkey. The PKK announced that it withdraws its forces out of Turkish territory a week ahead of the date decreed by imprisoned leader Mr. Abdullah Ocalan. Withdrawal is in keeping with Mr. Abdullah Öcalan's orders. The Kurdish presidential council announced in a statement published by the German-based Kurdish DEM news agency: "Our armed forces have started their withdrawal from north Kurdistan [south-eastern Turkey] even before September First."

Earlier the same month Mr. Öcalan called on his organization to end their armed rebellion against Turkey. The PKK promised a unilateral cease-fire and a withdrawal from Turkish territory. According to the group's statement the withdrawal was moved up as a gesture of sympathy in light of last week's devastating quake. "To unilaterally stop the war at this time of heavy disaster is the greatest support to the state and people of Turkey," the statement said.

The PKK claimed to have reduced its activities to the "lowest level possible," saying that any clashes that broke out were the responsibility of the Turkish army.

THE PEACE PROJECT of PKK- The Extraordinary VII Congress of the PKK

The dominance of peace has become the most fundamental humane and political responsibility in order to give meaning to the bloodshed and pain endured in warfare and clashes and also to induce results for the benefit of humanity from these. Kurdish question, too, has been on the agenda of humanity for a long time as one of the fundamental problems in the world that has not yet been solved.

In the light of these facts the PKK, with the experience and knowledge accumulated through over a quarter of a century of its struggle, has put forth its decisiveness to resolve the problems via peaceful means. The Kurdish people who live with the Turks, Arabs and Persians in the Middle East, naturally will continue to live with these peoples. The most suitable approach to this question and its resolution is the one based on this reality. In order to discuss the Kurdish question, more than anything else, the relationship between the Kurds and the Turks as well as how these relationships have been shaped throughout history needs to be understood. Our Party, giving full support to our President's declaration of stopping the warfare and the development of peace project declared on August 2, 1999, begun the withdrawal of its armed forces outside the borders of Turkey as of September 1, the International Peace Day.

Our Extraordinary 7th Congress, in order to deepen the peace process initiated by the President Mr. Abdullah Öcalan with his Imrali Defences has made changes in its program at a strategic level and taken the decision of realising a broad peace process for the solution of the Kurdish question on the basis of democratisation of Turkey. Our Congress, with this project, has aimed to eliminate the elements that had caused the warfare and the break off between the Kurdish people and Turkey. The PKK, up until now achieved considerable results by unilaterally taking steps for a peaceful and democratic solution, will carry out its responsibilities with great decisiveness and courage in order to continue to develop and deepen the peace process. From the language, style to its working manners it will display suitable manner of conduct in line with the nature of the period. It will only work for the succession of the period it has initiated without being internally or externally provoked.

ROAD MAP FOR A PEACEFUL AND DEMOCRATIC SOLUTION Of THE KURDISH ISSUE IN TURKEY

2 August 2003
KADEK Executive Council, We published and disseminated a string of reports to the public that explained our aims and provided suggestions for a peaceful and democratic solution to the problem. In a chronological order, we had the Peace Project on January 20, 2000; the Urgent Action Plan for Peace and Democracy on December 4, 2000; our Urgent Demands in order to prevent the war and to promote the peace process on June 19, 2001; Urgent Peace Proclamation on December 22, 2002 and our Proclamation for A Way out of Turkey’s Impasse on April 15, 2003.

At the beginning of the year 2000 and at the end of the 2002, twice, we sent letters to the President, Prime Minister, Head of the Parliament, General Chief of Staff, and heads of all political parties of Turkey explaining our thoughts on how to solve the Kurdish problem. And through the media, we constantly emphasized that we favour a brotherly solution of the problem within the borders of Turkey. We proved that we wanted to solve our problems in collaboration with the Turkish state and society and we were a unifying, not a divisive force.

The first stage
The stage of achieving a bilateral cease-fire. This process should start by 1 September 2003 and be completed by 1 December 2003.

First and foremost, there should be a dialogue between the two parties on the roadmap and a Committee for Peace and Dialogue should be established to discuss the modalities of its implementation. Such committee should consist of representatives of civil organisations and political parties and of intellectuals, artists and democratic personalities. It is crucial that this committee be encouraged and supported by the government in its activities.

The committee will hold meetings with the parties and establish a continuity of dialogue with a view on ensuring that mutual understanding is built up and the stages involved in the roadmap are specified. The committee will further have to monitor the implementation of the specific items agreed upon and intervene with a view on addressing shortcomings or breaches.

Moreover, the committee should maintain relations with the institutions that construct public opinion and encourage them to contribute to the peace process. It should incessantly remind the press of its social responsibility and provide information to the end of preparing the public as much as possible for reconciliation. The committee shall thus work on a permanent basis until the roadmap is fully implemented and peace and a resolution of the question are achieved. The most urgent task will be to turn the existing de-facto unilateral truce into a bilateral cease-fire.

The second stage
Confidence-building measures that consist of practical steps towards a solution.

The third stage
Full democratisation at which the Kurdish issue can be resolved by democratic means and peace be achieved.

Final Declaration of the Foundation Conference of the People's Congress of Kurdistan (KONGRA GEL) - Executive Council of the People's Congress of Kurdistan

The foundation of KONGRA-GEL has created a new opportunity for democratization and the solution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey. The political representatives of the Kurdish people have always spent considerable efforts on finding a solution that would benefit both peoples. They did not receive a response from the Turkish authorities, intransigently refusing to tackle the issue. However, it is clear that there is no other way but dialogue for the resolution of the issue and the democratization of Turkey. The Kurdish and the Turkish people have always favoured democracy. KONGRA-GEL pays its respect to this desire and invites the government of Turkey to show the same respect. The developments in the region and the EU membership run-up facilitate a solution of this type. For this reason, we call on the Turkish authorities to abandon their bankrupt policies and enter a dialogue with KONGRA-GEL.

KONGRA-GEL believes that a free Kurdish identity is tantamount to a renewed Middle East. While the Middle East is in a phase of transformation, KONGRA-GEL shall endeavour to become the principal dynamic of democratic civilization in Mesopotamia, the cradle of civilization.

June 1, 2004.,
’We didn't declare war we are in self-defence’. Head of People's Defence Commission (HPD) of KONGRA GEL Murat Karayilan said HPG's June 1 decision to end ceasefire shouldn't mean declaration of war, stating that HPG was in a self-defence war. Karayilan added they would closely watch the government and do their share in case they take steps towards stopping military operations.

In the program 'Sêla Sor' on Roj TV the issue of ceasefire was debated. Via telephone Karayilan stated that HPG would continue to spend efforts towards peace and democratic participation. "Nevertheless, attempts aiming at annihilation of the Kurdish people will be responded" Karayilan said.

'We insist on peace'
On the question "Ending the ceasefire mean declaration of war?" Murat Karayilan replied: "No. Self-defence strategy hasn't changed. That decision was given to escape destruction. Moreover, it is not given by any political organization but by the armed forces, HPG itself. And we evaluate it legitimate. That is, the decision to break ceasefire was not given by KONGRA-GEL. HPG is an autonomous power. Self-defence war is put into practice. We don't approve a war process. We will insist upon peace, freedom and fraternity of people. No one declared a war. HPG took the active self-defense war to defend its forces and values".

'Mutual ceasefire demand'
"Violence cannot be used a tool in politics; however it sometimes becomes inevitable. We can preserve the existing conditions. Total removal of the decision is not on the agenda for now".

Murat Karayilan put the first and foremost condition for preserving the ceasefire to be removal of the "inhumane isolation" conditions forced upon The Kurdish People's Leader Mr. Abdullah Öcalan. Karayilan also pointed to the necessity of a mutual ceasefire.

The Declaration of Democratic Confederalism by Abdullah Öcalan

August 19, 2005
Presidency of Kongra-Gel, Executive Council of KKK. 1 month ceasefire. A very positive development in the pursuit of a peaceful solution to the Kurdish Problem has been created by the peace call made by a group of intellectuals.

Lastly, in the meeting between the Turkish Prime Minister and the intellectuals, and the speech made by the Turkish Prime Minister in Diyarbakir acknowledged the Kurdish Question and declared that the problem will be resolved within the Democratic Republic framework.

We call on all the legitimate defense forces to bring all its armed forces from active to a passive defense position between 20th of August to 20th of September 2005 and believe that this shall pave the way for peace and a democratic solution hence contributing to the development of resolution process

During this period, the international forces such as USA and EU did nothing to solve this problem despite our peaceful efforts. In fact, they declared our movements as a terrorist movement and worked together with the Turkish government on the common concepts which encouraged Turkish government’s denial policy.

However we as the Kongra-Gel believe that period before 3rd of October, the commencement date of EU-Turkey, accession talks, should be handled with care due to its sensitivity.

September, 30 2006,
Decision for a Ceasefire by Kongra Gel 2nd Interim Session Assembly Meeting. The 1 June 2004 decision was one of the most important decisions that our movement has taken and with this the Kurdish Freedom Movement entered a new period. The fact that our peoples' defense force, the HPG, has shown that it can escalate self-defense in an organized, planned and controlled fashion and extend this throughout Turkey, has focused the Kurdish question once more at the centre of the political agenda of Turkey.

The Kongra Gel 2nd Interim Session Assembly meeting, according to the Koma Komalen. Kurdistan agreement, which gives the right to legally decide for peace and war while amongst two general assembly meetings, accepts the call of our Leadership for a ceasefire and states that this decision is binding to all our national-democratic forces. The decisions are as follows:

1.The decision has been given to announce a cease-fire from 1st of October 2006. The ceasefire will continue binding on the steps that will be taken and according to developments.

2.Weapons will definitely not be utilized as long as attacks do not come with the aim of annihilation. However, in conditions where annihilation is aimed against our forces they may defend themselves by all means.

3.During this period there will be no military manoeuvre by the HPG, excluding logistical and movements of a precautionary nature.

4.According to this decision the HPG Command Council will re-organize all its forces according to the ceasefire conditions in terms of current action position, manoeuvre and plans.

5.The aims of all cadres, organizations and institutions executing duties in terms of ideology, political, organizational and social areas in the Kurdistan Democracy and Freedom Movement must be to re-organize and plan their duties all along the lines of political, organizational and activities for the success of the ceasefire.

6.This decision is binding on all forces part of the Koma Komalen Kurdistan system. No one should take a coercive stance; every force must make efforts for the success of the process.

All Kurdish forces and organizations should be more than ever in a responsible position during this period for the democratic-peaceful solution of the Kurdish question, they should refrain from taking a position and stance that may give the denial and annihilation forces encouragement.

The AKP government responded to the proposed solution of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, with comprehensive war plans. The government knocked on the door of America and the other international communities to get support for the war and also legal preparations were made in Turkey for the war.

Despite the PKK declaring a cease-fire, also by the calls of international forces, the Turkish army has continued its military operations without a break since October 1, 2006.

Turkish state not only carried out destructive operations against guerrilla forces, but also used all kinds of psychological warfare and policy of intimidation including the political lynching to supress the willpower of Kurdish people at the political arena.

October 13, 2007,
War decision was accepted on October 13, 2007 the occupational started.
The Turkish parliament accepted the war decision at the period of Washington agreement on November 5, 2007.

February 21, 2008,
The Turkish army bombed numerous areas within Kurdistan many times and on February 21, 2008 carried out an invasion operation against the South Kurdistan. The invasion operation met the guerrilla resistance in Zap and the army was defeated.

The attacks of the Turkish state was not only against the guerrillas, but also the civilian, NGOs and the pro-Kurdish party DTP was the target, as well.

April 13, 2009,
KCK DECIDED FOR A CEASE-FIRE. The blocked process was opened again by Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and he started the Democratic Resolution process. On March 29, 2009 a new period started. KCK, declared a cease-fire, starting from the April 13, taking the political consequences into account after the March 29 local elections.

The AKP government and the state responded this cease-fire decision carrying out political genocide operations against DTP. However, the KCK continued decision its with a great insistence.

After the first period of the cease-fire expired on June 1, the decision was extended until July 15. Then, the cease-fire was extended to September 1 and again it has been extended to the end of the Feast of Ramadan with a new declaration.

Despite the cease-fire decision of the KCK, the destructive operations of Turkish army did not stop and the attacks of the state on the Kurds have accelerated. The approach of the Turkish state has brought a halt to the process.

Abdullah Ocalan again stepped in
Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan again stepped in and asked for three peace groups to come to Turkey to contribute the peace process.

Adhering to Ocalan's call, the KCK announced that they would send peace groups from Kandil, Maxmur and Europe to Turkey. Kandil and Maxmur peace groups entered Turkey from the Habur border on October 19th and they were greeted by millions of people. The group, which would go to Turkey from Europe, postponed its journey due to the preventions of Turkey.

After coming to Turkey, the peace groups were subjected to an immense amount of persecution, which was directly influenced by the Government, the MHP and the CHP. Many of the peace group members were sent to the court and some of them were detained. The others returned back to South Kurdistan as the there was no conditions within, which to stay in Turkey.

2 February 2010,
KCK’s declaration of a solution dated has not been met with any steps. Hence, the continuing deception that the government wishes to resolve the Kurdish question and democratize Turkey must be ended. As a result, Kurdish movement has evaluated the present situation and decided to defend itself, the future of its people and its honour.

A new decision from Abdullah Ocalan:
Kurdish leaders Abdullah Ocalan withdraw from the dialogue process on May 31, 2010. What the Kurds are experiencing today is genocide” said Ocalan and added, “There is no sense, no gain and a lack of conditions to continue this process. I am withdrawing from the dialog process after May 31st because I could not find an interlocutor.”

On 1 June, 2010 the KCK announced that their leadership Ocalan and all their attempts for a peaceful and democratic solution were frustrated and left unanswered by the AKP government. Instead, AKP used these steps to eliminate their organization. Therefore; the KCK announced that they terminated the unilateral cease-fire decision that they had declared on April 13, 2009 and declared that its forces were to become in an active defense position.

Within a period of 70 days, in every area of both Kurdistan and Turkey, comprehensive clashes took place. The main agenda of public opinion of Turkey was these clashes and the enormous number of deaths. In view of these incidents of war, NGOs, Intellectuals, the Democratic Community Congress (DTK) and Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) called for a multilateral cease-fire. On this basis, Kurdish leader Mr. Abdullah Ocalan also proposed the KCK to declare a cease-fire decision to contribute the dialogue and negotiations. After having a comprehensive discussion on the calls and Mr. Ocalan’s proposal, the KCK Executive Council accepted this call.

August 13, 2010
The 7th unilateral cease-fire period from PKK. The unilateral cease-fire from 13 August 2010 to 20 September 2010. The Kurdish people's existence and free future is under a serious threat and danger. This is why KCK have initiated a new strategic period of struggle based on “protection of our existence and attainment of our freedom”. This period that began as of 1st June 2010 is not a new period of warfare as some would like to deliberately distort it. This newly initiated period aims to secure the resolution of the Kurdish question on the basis of democratic autonomy, realize the democratization of Turkey and to attain a new democratic constitution by advancing our legitimate defense resistance in many ways.

KCK Presidency of the Executive Council and the Kongra-Gel Presidential Board announced its 40 days cease-fire decision with the declaration listed below;

"Our leader had announced to the public that his position was that of peace and in the case that a sincere and serious approach was developed he would step in to play his role. He has observed closely the society's demands and the calls for a bilateral ceasefire from various circles. At this point a process of dialogue, which implies a mutual check of intentions in relation to the resolution of the question, has been initiated.

As a result of this atmosphere of dialogue, our leader Apo has called on the parties before the period of clashes have once again come to an irreversible point. To this end, he has also sent a message to the leadership of our movement. Our movement has carried out a broad range of discussions on the message sent by our leader. It has also taken into consideration the month of Ramadan and the calls for a bilateral ceasefire made by DTK and BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) as well as other circles. As a result we have reached this decision.

In accordance with our decision;
A- We hereby officially declare to the public that our forces, who were in an active defense position since June 2010, are withdrawn to the position of a passive defense. Our forces shall not carry out any action from 13 August 2010 to 20 September 2010. In the case that there are attacks and operations directed against them or against our people they shall exercise their right of defense.

B- For this process to become permanent and transformed into a process of peace and resolution, the Turkish state and the AKP government need to implement the following:

1- Before all else the continues operations taken against the military and political arenas must be halted and a process of a bilateral ceasefire be developed,

2- The immediate release of around 1,700 Kurdish civilian politicians and members of the peace groups who were arrested unjustly,

3- The commencing of a negotiation process based on the three-itemed resolution framework presented to the public by our leader Apo and the creation of the conditions for leader Apo to actively participate in the peace process,

4- The reduction of the 10 percent election threshold which does not exist in any democratic country.

And the Turkish criminals shall be VERY ¤%¤¤ aware of that just because it has been and are a joint agenda of extermination and wanton destruction with other criminals in the U.S. and world wide, it does NOT mean the Turkish leaders, generals and authorities are acting with totally immunity! Moreover, this genocidal war-fare has been for decades INSTIGATED while the same people that are targeted for decades are in their own land which means the Turkish state in cooperation with the Iranian regime and other crimnals are the ones that have been for decades and still are pursuing a genocidal agenda!
