People are committed genocide on in Gaza, Syria, killed and starved to death in camps under sieges that resembles VERY much Nazi Germany! Meanwhile, some forgot about the "war on terrorism" in Iraq a long time ago!
Netanyahu Organizing Russian Mafia Government for Israel
Nov. 28, 2006, Southwest Asia News Digest - Netanyahu Organizing Russian Mafia Government for Israel Likud Party chairman Benjamin Netanyahu is organizing a Russian Mafia government for Israel, according to Ha'aretz and YNET Nov. 22.
Russian oligarch and reputed Russian Mafia don, Arcadi Gaydamak, has announced that he is deciding on whether or not to enter politics and make a bid to become Prime Minister. Gaydamak, who is wanted in France for fraud.
Netanyahu has been organizing behind the scenes to put just such a government together. It was reported a few weeks ago that he had met with Gaydamak, where all this was without doubt discussed. Despite the fact that Lieberman joined the Olmert government, he is a Netanyahu crony. Lieberman also has strong Russian mafia connections. One of his patrons is Michael Cherney, the other Russian "tycoon" based in Israel, who is also wanted by the Russian authorities.
Cherney finances the "Jerusalem Summit," which organizes an annual security conference whose advisory board includes Daniel Pipes and Britain's Baroness Caroline Cox, U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan), and Yuri Shtern, a Knesset member for Yisrael Beitenu.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour, visiting Beit Hanoun in Gaza, site of some of the worst atrocities, said, "We need to collectively call on leaders ... to have the courage to break the cycle of violence to ensure the well-being of civilians."
And, in accord with the LaRouche Doctrine for Southwest Asia, the Vatican's Observer to the UN, Archbishop Migliore, addressed the UN General Assembly meeting on the illegal Israeli actions in the Occupied Territories, saying, "The only peace with a chance of lasting in the region will be a truly comprehensive one. It will involve all major players in the Middle East region and it will have to be based upon bilateral peace treaties and multilateral agreements on all questions of common concern, including water, environment and trade."
Fascist Avigdor Lieberman, who holds/held the position of Minister for Strategic Threats, argued that peace and security initiatives put forward by Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres and the Defense Ministry, headed by Labor's Amir Peretz, are senseless. He said, "There is no point in new peace initiatives, and those who initiate them are irresponsible and unwise."
Ultra-rightist Avigdor Lieberman returns to Foreign Ministry after acquittal on fraud charges
Lieberman’s return to power will do no wonders for Israel’s international image. The secular, Moldova-born figure who rose to power on the strength of Russian Israelis but has broadened his appeal to others is also the man who shows Israel’s ugly face.
Israel’s Racist in Chief
The racist tirades of Jewish proto-fascists like Meir Kahane stood outside the law, were vigorously condemned by most Israelis and were prosecuted accordingly. Kahane's repugnant Kach Party, labeled by the United States, Canada and the European Union as a terrorist organization, was outlawed by the Israeli government in 1988 for inciting racism.
Israel has changed. And the racist virus spread by Kahane, whose thugs were charged with the murders and beatings of dozens of unarmed Palestinians and whose members held rallies in Jerusalem where they chanted "Death to Arabs!" has returned to Israel in the figure of Israel's powerful new foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman.
There has been a steady decline from the days of the socialist Labor Party, which founded Israel in 1948 and held within its ranks many leaders, such as Yitzhak Rabin, who were serious about peaceful coexistence with the Palestinians. The moral squalor of Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and Lieberman reflects the country's degeneration.
Labor, like Israel, is a shell of its old self. Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu Party, with 15 seats in the Knesset, is likely to bring down the Netanyahu government the moment his power base is robust enough to move him into the prime minister's office. He is the new face of the Jewish state. Lieberman, a former nightclub bouncer who was a member of the Kach Party, is being investigated for multimillion-dollar fraud and money laundering and is rumored to have close ties with the Russian mafia.
Lieberman, as did his mentor Kahane, calls for the eradication of Palestinians from Israel and the territories it occupies. During the massive Israeli bombardment of Gaza in December and January he said that Israel should fight Hamas the way the United States fought the Japanese in World War II. He noted that occupation of Japan was unnecessary to achieve victory, alluding to the dropping of atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
When he assumed his position as foreign minister he announced that the 2007 Annapolis peace agreement was dead. He said in 2004 that 90 percent of Israel's Palestinian citizens "have no place here. They can take their bundles and get lost." This statement was especially galling since Lieberman, unlike the Palestinian majority who can trace their ancestry in the region back generations, immigrated to Israel in 1978 from Moldova and retains a heavy Russian accent.
The massive influx of Soviet émigrés into Israel
A recent poll, looking for signs of fascism in Israel, found most Israeli reject the notion of a “strong leader” – but 53% of the Soviet émigrés support one. They still do, in the old homeland, where Putin is king and Stalin is making a comeback. Russian Jews have, to some extent, brought Russian political mores with them to Israel. Pointing out the obvious is not racism.
Avigdor Lieberman has had a complicated and media-hyped relationship with the Israel Police since his days as director general of the Prime Minister's Office. Lieberman has been investigated several times and for years waged a public campaign against the police investigations branch, the authority given to it and what Lieberman calls his political persecution by its directors. There is still one Lieberman investigation pending: suspicion of illicit business dealings in Russia and corruption offenses related to election campaign funding in 1998 and '99.
The investigation deals with ties Lieberman allegedly maintained with criminals from the "Russian Mafia," who enabled him to carry out a deal in 1998 that netted him over $3 million in a ruble crisis. Police are also investigated suspicions of corruption relating to election campaign funding in 1998-'99. These investigations led about 18 months ago to the removal of Major General Moshe Mizrahi as head of the police investigation branch because of the extensive wiretapping of Lieberman that the department conducted under his command and in contravention of regulations.
The Assault on Israeli Legitimacy
Israel, with its vast settlement expansion – including the hundreds of new homes it intends to build in East Jerusalem – makes no pretense anymore about working toward a two-state solution. It is an overtly apartheid state. Its goal is no longer rapprochement with the Palestinians but rather the carving up of the West Bank into ringed Palestinian ghettos that will replicate the misery and violence of the large ghetto that has become Gaza.
Israel’s decision to seize most of the West Bank and leave 1.5 million Palestinians trapped in the open-air prison that is Gaza inevitably means the creation of a deformed Jewish state in which privileged citizens will live with one set of rules and second-class citizens, Palestinians, will be systematically denied national and individual rights. In this apartheid state, Palestinians will be subjected to ever more humiliating and demeaning forms of control and repression.
The Israelis have consciously orchestrated acute misery and poverty in the Palestinian territories over the past two decades in an effort to subdue and ethnically cleanse the captive population. They have reduced Palestinians, many of whom now live on less than two dollars a day, to a subsistence level. They have created squalid, lawless and impoverished ghettos in the West Bank and Gaza. The Israeli soldiers who surround these ghettos have the ability to instantly cut off food, medicine and goods, perpetuating the misery.
When these little Bantustans become restive, Israel drops 1,000-pound iron fragmentation bombs and artillery shells – as they did in Gaza – on the concrete hovels that pack neighborhoods.
The Israeli objective is to turn the Palestinian territories into a hell on earth. This policy has, however, swollen the ranks of radical Islamists in the occupied territories and throughout the Middle East and exposed the criminality of the Israeli state to the wider world.
Kahane’s repugnant Kach Party, labeled a terrorist organization by the United States, Canada and the European Union, was outlawed by the Israeli government in 1988 for inciting racism. But in the last two decades Israel has undergone a radical and disturbing change.
The racism spread by Kahane – whose thugs were charged with the murders and beatings of dozens of unarmed Palestinians and whose members held rallies in Jerusalem where they chanted “Death to Arabs!” – has been embraced by leading Israeli politicians, including Israeli’s foreign minister and deputy prime minister, Avigdor Lieberman.
And Lieberman, from the floor of the Knesset, openly fantasized about executing the handful of Palestinian Knesset members. As Ariel Sharon’s minister of transportation he offered to bus several hundred Palestinian prisoners to the sea and drown them. He told the president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, one of Israel’s few Arab allies, to “go to hell.” And, along with Netanyahu, he advocates massive air strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The rise of racist trolls like Lieberman and Netanyahu, together with the increased repression, like the saturation bombing of Lebanon in 2006 and the recent assassination of a Hamas official in Dubai by the Mossad, is making it harder and harder for Israel to present a democratic facade to the outside world.
Israel, despite warnings from many within the Israeli establishment, has embarked on a course that will see it, like the South African apartheid regime, become ever more isolated and reviled. A Palestinian state, if it comes into existence, will have to be declared by forces outside of Israel – most likely the United Nations.
These international forces will openly challenge Israel’s apartheid regime. Once this takes place, Israel’s very legitimacy – like that of its old ally the apartheid regime in South Africa – will be in doubt.

Russian Mafia in Israel: Thousands of posters with the inscription "Lieberman, the poodle of the Russian mafia is selling Israel" were posted in Jerusalem. Thus the activists of the right patriotic camp responded to the cooperation of Russian criminals, with senior officials of the country.
The posters depicted a Russian emigre Mikhail Cherney, gently tickling creature with a dog's body (the authors of the poster claim that this poodle, although the type of purebred spaniel) and the face of the Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman, which, according to the authors of the poster symbolizes the close relationship of the Russian criminal authority and government officials.
If Khodorkovsky went to jail, then Nevzlin landed safely in Israel as the heir of a fortune in Yukos, which is part and offered to share with a number of government officials in exchange for friendship and some small services in the form of citizenship.
He created in Israel and the analogue of "Open Russia" with the same goals and objectives. With the support of their political masters - Sharon, Lieberman, Lahat - Nevzlin, together with other "Russian oligarchs" has created a Wish Foundation "Nadav" existing as an affiliated structure of the fund "Keren Hayasod" ("The World Jewish United Fund").
