The bombings, killings and sieges causing starvation in refugee camps in Syria are crimes against humanity and violation of International humanitarian law. Meanwhile, there are very carefully selected people on posts every#¤#¤where. There have been and are a whole lot sieges nowadays..some call it "Fair plans" !

"International community bent over backwards to get weapons inspectors into Syria. But food, water and med aid? Not so much."

3 January – "The situation in crisis-torn South Sudan remains tense today and, with clashes reported between pro - and anti-Government troops in some areas and thousands of people fleeing the ongoing violence. United Nations officials in the country are urging all parties in the conflict to protect civilians and to allow humanitarian workers safe access to them."

Oh..yeah.."pro - and anti-Government"..Right..And starvation's under sieges... it must be some kind of "trend." Like the sanctions against Iraq imposed by the UN Security Council in 1990, four days after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait. It´s like some have just given their damn on to finish the genocides! One just wonder which the hell will be next, obvious NO ONES ANYWHERE are safe! Any ones believing that should just stop fooling themselves!

Very Holy...Actually, Pope should make some serious considerations if he wants anything to do with "these people" in this conditions! Egypt: Stop doing Israel´s dirty work, stop killing people! Calls/Demands to end the siege, open Rafah crossing, relief for besieged Yarmouk camp!

Egypt: Open the Rafah Crossing Gates to Gaza!  Egypt Consulate, 1110 Second Avenue between 58–59th Streets, Manhattan,

Recent storms and flooding have added to Gaza’s woes, but the underlying problems remain the same: In September 2011, five independent UN rights experts made a report to the UN Human Rights Council which said that Israel’s siege of Gaza amounted to collective punishment of the Palestinian people, and was a “flagrant contravention of international human rights and humanitarian law” under the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Now Egypt is making a dire situation even worse by restricting movement of critical food, fuel, and aid to Gaza and preventing people from moving across the border for study or for medical care. The International Red Cross and the United Nations have found the Israeli regime’s siege of Gaza to be illegal under international law. Now Egypt is doing Israel’s dirty work!

Residents of Gaza are blockaded by land, sea, and air. Demand that Egypt Open the Rafah Crossing Gates!

The Arab World between Nostalgia and Reality, By Samah Sabawi

January 2, 2014 The year 2014 begins while the Arab World continues to plummet into further conflicts, instability and terror. Desperate for reprieve and filled with a sense of nostalgia, my mind escapes to 40 years ago, to the year 1974, just before the outbreak of the Lebanese civil war, when my father took us on a road trip across the Arab world.

Back then we lived in Dammam in Saudi Arabia and the trip was our first family vacation since we were exiled out of Palestine. I was only six years old, refusing to be crammed in the back of our sedan along with my five siblings, I felt lucky to be petite enough to stretch my small body across the rear deck. My face stuck to the rear window and my eyes wide open. I can remember till this day every small detail of the two months journey: the sights the smells and the sounds of the Arab World.

I can still see the sand dunes and camel caravans of Saudi Arabia, feel the warm salty waters of the gulf in Kuwait, hear the humming of factories that stretched for miles along the Euphrates river, envision the manicured trees lining up the impeccable streets of Baghdad city, the beautiful rolling hills of Jordan, the astonishing beauty that is Lebanon and the simplicity of life in Syria. On this road trip I learned my geography, embraced my Arab identity and developed a strong sense of Arab nationalism.

It was on this trip that I learned that the lines between the Muslim sects were blurry and insignificant when we, a Sunni family casually stopped to pray at a shia mosque on the outskirts of Baghdad. On this trip I learned that Arabs were generous and hospitable. One of my favorite memories was of how after driving through the Arabian desert for a full day we felt tired so we pulled into a small tiny town in the north of Saudi Arabia.

My father simply rolled down the window and called for a boy standing by the side of the road and asked him to point us to where the Palestinian teacher’s house was. My father knew that in every town in Saudi Arabia there would be at least one Palestinian refugee working as a teacher. Sure enough the boy took us to a small modest house shared by two Palestinian brothers, both teachers at the primary school. My father stood at their door and said "We are a Palestinian family travelling and we need a place to stay". The two brothers took us in, their wives cooked us dinner and they gave us their beds to sleep on. The next morning they gave us breakfast and sent us on our way with extra sandwiches and water bottles.

In Lebanon when we couldn’t find a restaurant after driving for hours on the mountain ranges we stopped at someone’s house to ask if they knew where we could go to eat. They insisted that we were their guests and simply wouldn’t take no for an answer. They gave us a feast before sending us on our way with full stomachs and treasured memories.

The biggest highlight of the trip for me personally was that it included my first theatre experience. My father took us to see the Duraid Lahham play Dhay’at Tishreen at the magnificent Hamra theatre in Beirut, an experience I can still brag about till this day!

There are many more stories in my trove of wonderful memories of an Arab world that was embracing modernity while safeguarding its heritage: A world of music, museums, mosques, theatres, universities, factories and gardens. In my mind, the Arab world is still stuck in 1974, just before the Lebanese civil war began, before the escalations, the polarizations, the conflicts and the endless divisions.

Today it is no longer safe to do a road trip in the Arab World. Many of these countries are no longer safe to visit. That sense of generosity and old-fashioned hospitality experienced back then has probably now fallen victim to the growing mistrust and the violence that continues to spread and to spare no one.

Back in 1974, I slept in my father’s arms in the desert south of Baghdad one night looking at the stars above as he recited poetry I could not at the time understand. They were his poems of yearnings for Palestine. My father was under no illusion even back then. He knew that divisions existed and that borders prevented him from reaching his homeland. He knew that beneath the seeming calmness of the desert night, ill wind would blow across the region and that the enemy was at the gates. But all I knew at six was that I belonged to a vast world of multiple dialects sounds and flavors and that I loved every bit of it.

IsraHell - A threat to world peace and humanity

A busbomb used as justifications to bomb Palestinians under siege and kill some more in all directions, while they starve to death in Syria camps. A Bombing and bus bombing in Egypt to have some more killed, label more as terrorist, a bus bombing in Russia before Winter Olympics and have some more killed. Remember we do not believe in coincidences.

Again: A busbomb used as justifications to bomb and kill Palestinians, just as the last time Israel bombed Gaza! Bombings and busbombing as justification to kill and label Muslims in Egypt, busbombing in Russia as justification to exterminate more Chechens!

WE MEAN..HELLOOO! WHICH ARE THE #¤#¤¤ TERRORISTS HERE!

Text to the UN
In resolution on “Israel’s nuclear capabilities” adopted on 18 September 2009, the General Conference of the IAEA, after having expressed its “concern about the Israeli nuclear capabilities” called upon Israel to “accede to the NPT and place all its nuclear facilities under comprehensive safeguards”.

At its meeting in June 2010 the IAEA Board of Governors discussed the subject of “Israeli nuclear capabilities” after the Director General submitted a letter to all Member States requesting their points of view.

As on other occasions, once again the Israeli Government refused to cooperate with the IAEA and denied to accede to the NPT.

Whereas the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East would be a decisive contribution to achieve peace in this region.

Whereas the Israeli denial to accede to the NPT and submit all its nuclear capabilities and facilities under comprehensive IAEA safeguard constituting a clear threat to peace as reflected in chapter VII of the United Nations Charter,

WE CALL UPON:

1. The Security Council to request Israel to accede to the NPT and submit all its nuclear capabilities and facilities under comprehensive IAEA safeguard.

2. If Israel maintains its denial, the Security Council will decide any adequate measures under art. 41 and 42 of the UN Charter in order to achieve the goals indicated above.

ISRAEL ATTACKS GAZA AGAIN WHILE SUPPORTING MILITANTS INTO SYRIA AND BEING ALLIED WITH CLINTON AND "FRIENDS OF SYRIA" WHERE PEOPLE ARE KILLED AND STARVING IN CAMPS UNDER SIEGE, JUST LIKE IN NAZI GERMANY!

People are committed genocide on in Gaza, Syria, killed and starved to death in camps under sieges that resembles VERY much Nazi Germany! Meanwhile, some forgot about the "war on terrorism" in Iraq a long time ago!

Netanyahu Organizing Russian Mafia Government for Israel

Nov. 28, 2006, Southwest Asia News Digest - Netanyahu Organizing Russian Mafia Government for Israel Likud Party chairman Benjamin Netanyahu is organizing a Russian Mafia government for Israel, according to Ha'aretz and YNET Nov. 22.

Russian oligarch and reputed Russian Mafia don, Arcadi Gaydamak, has announced that he is deciding on whether or not to enter politics and make a bid to become Prime Minister. Gaydamak, who is wanted in France for fraud.

Netanyahu has been organizing behind the scenes to put just such a government together. It was reported a few weeks ago that he had met with Gaydamak, where all this was without doubt discussed. Despite the fact that Lieberman joined the Olmert government, he is a Netanyahu crony. Lieberman also has strong Russian mafia connections. One of his patrons is Michael Cherney, the other Russian "tycoon" based in Israel, who is also wanted by the Russian authorities.

Cherney finances the "Jerusalem Summit," which organizes an annual security conference whose advisory board includes Daniel Pipes and Britain's Baroness Caroline Cox, U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan), and Yuri Shtern, a Knesset member for Yisrael Beitenu.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour, visiting Beit Hanoun in Gaza, site of some of the worst atrocities, said, "We need to collectively call on leaders ... to have the courage to break the cycle of violence to ensure the well-being of civilians."

And, in accord with the LaRouche Doctrine for Southwest Asia, the Vatican's Observer to the UN, Archbishop Migliore, addressed the UN General Assembly meeting on the illegal Israeli actions in the Occupied Territories, saying, "The only peace with a chance of lasting in the region will be a truly comprehensive one. It will involve all major players in the Middle East region and it will have to be based upon bilateral peace treaties and multilateral agreements on all questions of common concern, including water, environment and trade."

Fascist Avigdor Lieberman, who holds/held the position of Minister for Strategic Threats, argued that peace and security initiatives put forward by Deputy Prime Minister Shimon Peres and the Defense Ministry, headed by Labor's Amir Peretz, are senseless. He said, "There is no point in new peace initiatives, and those who initiate them are irresponsible and unwise."

Ultra-rightist Avigdor Lieberman returns to Foreign Ministry after acquittal on fraud charges
Lieberman’s return to power will do no wonders for Israel’s international image. The secular, Moldova-born figure who rose to power on the strength of Russian Israelis but has broadened his appeal to others is also the man who shows Israel’s ugly face.

Israel’s Racist in Chief

The racist tirades of Jewish proto-fascists like Meir Kahane stood outside the law, were vigorously condemned by most Israelis and were prosecuted accordingly. Kahane's repugnant Kach Party, labeled by the United States, Canada and the European Union as a terrorist organization, was outlawed by the Israeli government in 1988 for inciting racism.

Israel has changed. And the racist virus spread by Kahane, whose thugs were charged with the murders and beatings of dozens of unarmed Palestinians and whose members held rallies in Jerusalem where they chanted "Death to Arabs!" has returned to Israel in the figure of Israel's powerful new foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman.

There has been a steady decline from the days of the socialist Labor Party, which founded Israel in 1948 and held within its ranks many leaders, such as Yitzhak Rabin, who were serious about peaceful coexistence with the Palestinians. The moral squalor of Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and Lieberman reflects the country's degeneration.

Labor, like Israel, is a shell of its old self. Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu Party, with 15 seats in the Knesset, is likely to bring down the Netanyahu government the moment his power base is robust enough to move him into the prime minister's office. He is the new face of the Jewish state. Lieberman, a former nightclub bouncer who was a member of the Kach Party, is being investigated for multimillion-dollar fraud and money laundering and is rumored to have close ties with the Russian mafia.

Lieberman, as did his mentor Kahane, calls for the eradication of Palestinians from Israel and the territories it occupies. During the massive Israeli bombardment of Gaza in December and January he said that Israel should fight Hamas the way the United States fought the Japanese in World War II. He noted that occupation of Japan was unnecessary to achieve victory, alluding to the dropping of atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

When he assumed his position as foreign minister he announced that the 2007 Annapolis peace agreement was dead. He said in 2004 that 90 percent of Israel's Palestinian citizens "have no place here. They can take their bundles and get lost." This statement was especially galling since Lieberman, unlike the Palestinian majority who can trace their ancestry in the region back generations, immigrated to Israel in 1978 from Moldova and retains a heavy Russian accent.

The massive influx of Soviet émigrés into Israel

A recent poll, looking for signs of fascism in Israel, found most Israeli reject the notion of a “strong leader” – but 53% of the Soviet émigrés support one. They still do, in the old homeland, where Putin is king and Stalin is making a comeback. Russian Jews have, to some extent, brought Russian political mores with them to Israel. Pointing out the obvious is not racism.

Avigdor Lieberman has had a complicated and media-hyped relationship with the Israel Police since his days as director general of the Prime Minister's Office. Lieberman has been investigated several times and for years waged a public campaign against the police investigations branch, the authority given to it and what Lieberman calls his political persecution by its directors. There is still one Lieberman investigation pending: suspicion of illicit business dealings in Russia and corruption offenses related to election campaign funding in 1998 and '99.

The investigation deals with ties Lieberman allegedly maintained with criminals from the "Russian Mafia," who enabled him to carry out a deal in 1998 that netted him over $3 million in a ruble crisis. Police are also investigated suspicions of corruption relating to election campaign funding in 1998-'99. These investigations led about 18 months ago to the removal of Major General Moshe Mizrahi as head of the police investigation branch because of the extensive wiretapping of Lieberman that the department conducted under his command and in contravention of regulations.

The Assault on Israeli Legitimacy

Israel, with its vast settlement expansion – including the hundreds of new homes it intends to build in East Jerusalem – makes no pretense anymore about working toward a two-state solution. It is an overtly apartheid state. Its goal is no longer rapprochement with the Palestinians but rather the carving up of the West Bank into ringed Palestinian ghettos that will replicate the misery and violence of the large ghetto that has become Gaza.

Israel’s decision to seize most of the West Bank and leave 1.5 million Palestinians trapped in the open-air prison that is Gaza inevitably means the creation of a deformed Jewish state in which privileged citizens will live with one set of rules and second-class citizens, Palestinians, will be systematically denied national and individual rights. In this apartheid state, Palestinians will be subjected to ever more humiliating and demeaning forms of control and repression.

The Israelis have consciously orchestrated acute misery and poverty in the Palestinian territories over the past two decades in an effort to subdue and ethnically cleanse the captive population. They have reduced Palestinians, many of whom now live on less than two dollars a day, to a subsistence level. They have created squalid, lawless and impoverished ghettos in the West Bank and Gaza. The Israeli soldiers who surround these ghettos have the ability to instantly cut off food, medicine and goods, perpetuating the misery.

When these little Bantustans become restive, Israel drops 1,000-pound iron fragmentation bombs and artillery shells – as they did in Gaza – on the concrete hovels that pack neighborhoods.

The Israeli objective is to turn the Palestinian territories into a hell on earth. This policy has, however, swollen the ranks of radical Islamists in the occupied territories and throughout the Middle East and exposed the criminality of the Israeli state to the wider world.

Kahane’s repugnant Kach Party, labeled a terrorist organization by the United States, Canada and the European Union, was outlawed by the Israeli government in 1988 for inciting racism. But in the last two decades Israel has undergone a radical and disturbing change.

The racism spread by Kahane – whose thugs were charged with the murders and beatings of dozens of unarmed Palestinians and whose members held rallies in Jerusalem where they chanted “Death to Arabs!” – has been embraced by leading Israeli politicians, including Israeli’s foreign minister and deputy prime minister, Avigdor Lieberman.

And Lieberman, from the floor of the Knesset, openly fantasized about executing the handful of Palestinian Knesset members. As Ariel Sharon’s minister of transportation he offered to bus several hundred Palestinian prisoners to the sea and drown them. He told the president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak, one of Israel’s few Arab allies, to “go to hell.” And, along with Netanyahu, he advocates massive air strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The rise of racist trolls like Lieberman and Netanyahu, together with the increased repression, like the saturation bombing of Lebanon in 2006 and the recent assassination of a Hamas official in Dubai by the Mossad, is making it harder and harder for Israel to present a democratic facade to the outside world.

Israel, despite warnings from many within the Israeli establishment, has embarked on a course that will see it, like the South African apartheid regime, become ever more isolated and reviled. A Palestinian state, if it comes into existence, will have to be declared by forces outside of Israel – most likely the United Nations.

These international forces will openly challenge Israel’s apartheid regime. Once this takes place, Israel’s very legitimacy – like that of its old ally the apartheid regime in South Africa – will be in doubt.

Chris Hedges, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter for the New York Times.
Russian Mafia in Israel: Thousands of posters with the inscription "Lieberman, the poodle of the Russian mafia is selling Israel" were posted in Jerusalem. Thus the activists of the right patriotic camp responded to the cooperation of Russian criminals, with senior officials of the country.

The posters depicted a Russian emigre Mikhail Cherney, gently tickling creature with a dog's body (the authors of the poster claim that this poodle, although the type of purebred spaniel) and the face of the Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman, which, according to the authors of the poster symbolizes the close relationship of the Russian criminal authority and government officials.

If Khodorkovsky went to jail, then Nevzlin landed safely in Israel as the heir of a fortune in Yukos, which is part and offered to share with a number of government officials in exchange for friendship and some small services in the form of citizenship.

He created in Israel and the analogue of "Open Russia" with the same goals and objectives. With the support of their political masters - Sharon, Lieberman, Lahat - Nevzlin, together with other "Russian oligarchs" has created a Wish Foundation "Nadav" existing as an affiliated structure of the fund "Keren Hayasod" ("The World Jewish United Fund").

UN Office 9/1/2013, Aswat al-Iraq: According to casualty figures released today by UNAMI, a total of 804 Iraqis were killed and another 2,030 were wounded in acts of terrorism and violence in August. The number of civilians killed was 716 (including 106 civilian police), while the number of civilians injured was 1,936 (including 195 civilian police). A further 88 members of the Iraqi Security Forces were killed and 94 were injured.

“Despite the decrease in casualty figures in August, compared to July, the impact of violence on civilians remains disturbingly high, with almost 5,000 civilians killed and 12,000 injured since the beginning of 2013,” the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq, Ms. Jacqueline Badcock, warned. Baghdad was the worst-affected governorate in August with 1,272 civilian casualties (317 killed and 955 injured), followed by Salahal-din, Nineva, Diala, and Anbar (triple digit figures). Kirkuk, Babel, Wassit and Basra also reported casualties (double-digit figures).

Iranians in Camp Liberty go on hunger Strike call for deployment of Blue Helmets

NCRI - Residents of Camp Liberty in Iraq have announced a hunger strike from noon of Sunday, September 1, following the fifth massacre perpetuated against members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Camp Ashraf, in yet another unprecedented crime against humanity.

The hunger strikers declared: As the responsibility to protect the residents of Ashraf and Liberty is incumbent upon the United States Government and the United Nations;

Considering that 10 hours after the murderous attack of Iraqi forces under orders of Al-Maliki, the US Government and United Nations have not acted in any way to stop the killings in Ashraf or save the lives of the kidnapped and injured residents;

Considering that neither the US nor the UN have taken any effective measure to protect the residents of Ashraf and Liberty in recent months despite numerous repeated pleas by the residents and their representatives;

In recognition of the grave crimes against humanity of which the firing of coup de grace shots at the injured and their execution, and massacre of residents with hands tied behind their backs are instances of;

Considering that the repetition of such a massacre is possible at any moment;

The residents will continue their hunger strike until the full cessation of killings in Ashraf and the release of all hostages, and until the resolution of the issue of security for the residents of Ashraf and Liberty. The protection of the residents of Ashraf and Liberty is only possible after full repudiation of security responsibility from Iraqi forces and the deployment of UN blue helmet forces in Ashraf and Liberty until their transfer to the United States or Europe.

The residents call for the urgent intervention of the United Nations and the transfer of security responsibility from murderous Iraqi forces to UN blue helmet forces and emphasized that the relinquishing of security responsibility to Iraqi forces which has until now led to five massacres in Ashraf and Liberty is considered as collusion in crimes against humanity and must be stopped.

Maryam Rajavi urged the United Nations and US government to take urgent action for protection of the residents by either transferring them all to the United States or settling the UN Blue Helmets in Camps Ashraf and Liberty in order to protect the residents.

Kışanak: "The World Peace Day, September 1, is a day of mass demos voicing the public demand for peace in Turkey, Rojava and Middle East."

ANF - ISTANBUL 30.08.2013,  Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) co-chair Gültan Kışanak spoke to ANF about the democratic resolution process and the "democracy package" the government is expected to announce in the coming days. Kışanak said the process is currently witnessing tension because of the government's insistence on not doing its part in the achievement of a democratic and peaceful solution to the Kurdish question.

Kışanak said the second phase of the resolution process would witness “Turkey's democratization and negotiations between the democracy powers in the country and the government's/authoritarian state's mindset”. BDP co-chair indicated that the resolution process is currently in its second page, saying that this truth was already known by the Turkish government and public opinion as well.

She said the government and the parliament were supposed to take steps for the achievement of democratization, noting that the government's failure to take any steps so far has created troubles for the process.

Kışanak criticized the government for preparing the democracy package without opening it up for discussion and delaying its announcement for the last two months.

She said the package must satisfy the demands of all circles demanding democracy in the country. She noted that the government did not take BDP's opinion during the preparation of the democracy package. "Nor did it give an answer to the 25-points democratization package our party conveyed two months ago. We do not know whether they accept our proposals or not. This is not a good way to deal with a problem."

Turkish public opinion is also excluding the BDP from the process. "One other problem is the fact that we do not know what the package includes”, Kışanak said and underlined that BDP's democratization package included solutions to the problems of not only Kurds but of everyone in the country, such as the removal of the election threshold and obstacles to democratic politics, constitutional assurance for the right to democratic opposition, to freedom of thought and expression and abolishment of the anti-terror law.

“This process is aimed at Turkey's democratization which will also enable a solution to the Kurdish issue. It is not going on between the BDP and the government alone. This is why everyone should support it”, she added.

BDP co-chair remarked that the process is currently witnessing not a deadlock but tension caused by government's failure to take steps for democratization and to designate a date for the steps needed to be taken. "The Kurdish side's insistence on some dates are because we have elections ahead of us and we do not have much time for we cannot delay the solution of the Kurdish question until after elections."

"The government has done nothing since negotiation began eight months ago", she said and criticized the government for not displaying the determination it has promised since the very beginning of the process. Kışanak said the Turkish state's status quoist and monist mindset also created problems for the course of the process.

BDP co-chair pointed out that their party would continue to mobilize and to struggle for peace in the region and all around the world. She said the World Peace Day, September 1, would be a day of mass demos voicing the public demand for peace in Turkey, Rojava and Middle East. She called on everyone siding with peace and freedom to take to the streets.

Also commenting on discussions on the necessity of a military action against Syria, Kışanak said any international intervention in Syria would deepen the problems in the country and scale up the war environment the country is suffering from for the last two years. She said none of the sides planning to attack Syria will produce a political solution to the problem in the country. She underlined that BDP sided with peace and a political solution for Syria.

Kışanak warned that Turkey's active participation in any military action against Syria would also lead to serious conflicts inside and around Turkey. She added that Turkey must never take such a risk, also considering AKP government's political and diplomatic failure to realize its policies against Syria.

Tens of thousands joined the funeral ceremony of western Kurdistan's People's Defense Units (YPG) fighter Malik Xdelef and six members of the People's Assembly killed in recent clashes in Rojava. PM Erdogan: Limited action against Syria not enough

31.08.2013, Speaking to reporters during the Victory Day reception at the presidential palace in the capital Ankara on Friday, Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that a limited military action against Syria would not satisfy Turkey. Erdogan pointed out that the intervention must be something similar to the one in Kosovo, citing the NATO operation against Yugoslavia during the Kosovo war in 1999 as an example.

The Prime Minister remarked that any kind of intervention in Syria should be aimed at bringing an end to the rule of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. "It can't be a 24 hours hit-and-run. What matters is stopping the bloodshed in Syria and pushing the regime to the point of collapsing ", he added.

Referring to the most recent statements of U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Erdogan said the intervention in Syria could take place before the G-20 summit in the Russian capital Moscow next week.

Margaret Owen sent letter to Obama

25.08.2013, Peace in Kurdistan patron Margaret Owen OBE has written an open letter to US President Barack Obama, urging him to make an urgent investigation into the brutal massacre and kidnapping of hundreds of Kurdish men, women and children at the hands of US- and Turkey-backed Al-Qaeda affiliates in Syria.

In the letter she reminds President Obama that Western Kurdistan had, until recent provocations, remained peaceful under the leadership of the PYD and had become a safe haven for many Syrian’s fleeing violence in the worn-torn country.

Turkish anxieties over the new project of democratic autonomy in Western Kurdistan should not justify the international community’s indifference to the massacre of innocent Kurdish civilians.

The letter has also been supported by several prominent politicians, academics and human rights defenders. In the letter Owen writes that "As lawyers and as women human rights defenders working internationally to protect all people from violations of international law, war crimes, and ethnic cleansing in civil war and sectarian violence, we implore you to use all available means, and harness all the resources of the UN and the international community to stop the massacres of innocent Kurdish men, women, and children in Syria".

Western Kurdistan, under the democratic leadership of the PYD, continues the letter, "has been a haven for those fleeing the violence of militias, such as Al Nusra, linked to Al Qaida in other parts of war torn Syria. The Kurds of Syria have been the one voice promoting the equal rights of all religious and ethnic minorities in a democratic and just new post-Assad Syria".

It is also essential that the true role of Turkey in arming those al Qaida militias, such as Al Nusra is investigated, underlined Owen.

The letter is supported by, among others, Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, Baroness Greengross, Jean Lambert MEP, Jill Evans MEP, Caroline Lucas MP, Kariane Westrheim, University of Bergen, Chair of EUTCC, Maggie Bowden, General Secretary, Liberation.

While HPG - Kurdish defence forces are withdrawing and there are works in all aspects to reach end of war fare, solutions and peace agreements 24/7, Turkey has no reasons or justifications WHAT SO EVER to attack or support attacks against Kurds who fights armed and supported militants and al-Qaida and Kurdish villages in Syria!

These are crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, violations against International laws, laws of war, humanitarian laws and crimes against the Syrians and against Iraqis that are attacked and killed in masses as well!

THIS IS REAL TERRORISM! And every #¤#¤¤ crimes one can mention, while Danish court accuse Kurdish media for inciting terrorism and facebook bans Kurds and have "peace conference"! And #%¤¤#% genocidal PSYCHOPATHS are working to get Obama to stand responsible for everything after Turkey and Israel have bombed the whole #¤#¤¤ region!
